This movie portrayed the relationship between dogs and people beautifully. Through the ups and downs, the emotions that are felt - this movie did a great job in capturing all of it.

The movie was awesome! The only problem is, you will CRY! This story is very sad, but true on the animals today. I highly suggest you watch this movie, but really, a man will cry!

For any animal lover out there, this movie is a must. Not sure how close to the true story it really is, but that doesn't deter from the film whatsoever. Highly recommend.

This is a great movie, based on a true-life story about a man and his loyal dog back in the 1920's in Japan. The story is recreated in the USA and works well. Great dog actors!

This movie, based on a true story, is one that should be viewed by all pet owners. You may want to keep some Kleenex handy. It can be very emotional as well as entertaining.

The translation of this movie was diffferent from the Japanese story , but had the same concept. The Akita dogs that portrayed Hachiko were amazing and well trained. The acting dog that played Hachiko was as loyal and realistic like the true Hachiko. The dog stole the show from the human thespians.

Since it is a true story (actually took place in Japan), this story will stay in your heart forever.

One true fantastic Movie the whole family can enjoy or anyone can enjoy. If you like dogs and the unconditional love a dog has with an owner, this movie is for you.

This was a touching story. After watching, the kids wanted an Akita. That didn't happen but we did pick up a stray Belgian melinois puppy. He's awesome.
