A7X has made heavier and faster albums than this, but this is still a very good album in its own right, even if a lot of it takes from Metallica's Black Album. It's also, surprisingly, the best sounding album made by this band, for it suffers from less excessive dynamic range compression than all the other albums, so that's a big plus in my book. Hopefully, future albums will sound this good or even better.

Wow, not only is this a well rounded, hard hitting album that takes a stand, Avenged Sevenfold does so with clarity and tact. Riffs a plenty with melodies that do not tire. About time rock is not so darn compressed, excellent quality. Bravo!

Many retailers no longer sell CDs, but I am glad Best Buy still does for those of us who still have a collection. This is one of my favorite A7X albums. I don't think that they really figured out their identity until the year of "Hail To The King". Keep it up A7X!

i don't buy cds much anymore but for this one its a fairley good cd.it has a song on it that sounds kinda like metallica,that i like a lot other than that its just good music that i enjoy listening to.i would recommend this cd to others if asked if it was worth buying.

This is my favorite album done by Avenged Sevenfold. There isn't a song I don't like on this album. This shows just how good A7X is and I cant wait for their next album to blow this one away.

This is a great album from beginning to end. The lyrics are well written and the music is clean. If you're a fan of heavy rock or just a fan of good music, check it out

This album seems to lack a little bit of energy and edge from past albums. Not disappointed however, this is definitely a solid hard rock album. Easy to listen through from start to finish.

An epic CD by one of my favorite bands love jamming out to the CD would recommend to anyone willing to listen to this cd

This is an excellent example of rock from an established band, covering the bands musical range from power ballads to hard rock anthems.

The Music is incredible if you are into new age punk rock type genre. It has great bass levels and lyrics that speak volumes!!!
