This is the ending that halo deserved. The game is flawless in that it is fun,and very challenging. The multi-player is great and good for spending hours on, and the 4 player co-op is also a nice touch. Every weapon from all the games return, while the brutes are even harder to kill. Overall this game is worth every penny and more

After the letdown of Halo 2 i was hoping that Bungie would redeem themselves with the final installment of the Halo series...and man did they. This is by far the greatest of the 3 Halo's, it brings great graphics and legendary gameplay to the table. Definatly a must-buy for all Xbox 360 owners. Hoping to take it online soon.

Halo 3 is a fitting ending to the Halo series. After a decent Halo 2, the third installment was a sight for sore eyes. It keeps up the tradition of excellent gameplay with a few new additions such as new vehicles, new guns, and more open environments. All of these round out the campaign very nicely. The game is of moderate length at about 10-15 hours long. Good luck following the story though, because you won't. Not even kidding. Seriously, I will give you 10 dollars if you are able to follow the story fully. The graphics are nice, though not quite up to par with those of CoD 4 or The Orange Box. The online competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes really make this game a must own. Competitive multiplayer is fast paced and very exhilarating. The cooperative mode supports up to 4 players to play through the game, which is fun. Forge mode is also new which allows players to edit multiplayer maps by placing different items and scenery throughout them. This gives the game longevity. The maps are somewhat decent, though still solid. If you are an FPS fan with a 360, I recommend Halo 3, though after CoD 4.

great game overall, they really should have made it longer and went all out with the graphics. forge mode, theatre mode, custom games, online play, campaign, armour permutations, double exp weekends, weapons, vehicles, equipment, 79 achievements, and DLC being released every few months. this game truly rocks.

My and my friends love this game! It is great on legendary and the Xbox live is to die for!!!! Although the loading isnt fast it still is a fun campaign that will give u something to do for hours. The forge is great and the variety of multiplayer like slayer or infection is amazing!!! Definetly worth $60!!!!

This really is a good game. It combines great online mulitplayer with online and split screen coop. The graphics look pretty good, but I expected better from Bungie. The story seems a little lacking throughout the game (almost like they didn't have a full story but they had to make a full game). Overall I give Halo 3 a B.

This game lives up to the hype. This installment definitely steps up the bar of first shooter next gen games. The Campaign mode is more than enough to keep you comin' back for more. Legendary mode too hard? Team up with 3 other friends on Xbox live and let the frenzy begin. You can also keep meta scoring on the campaign to see whos got the most points and who steals all the kills. The online play is almost another game. Be prepared to spend countless hours on slayer, capture the flag, king of the hill, and many other custom games. And with the ranking system you always know where you stand. You can also access your player profile online and see how many games you've played. You can also view all of your stats. But that's not all! The theater allows you to view and save any game you've played. You can watch from any player or from any view. You can save video clips or pics and post them to your profile. Got an amazing headshot? Know everyone can see it! Bottom line, buy Halo 3. This game will sell the 360 this year.

Wow. Fun multi-player. Awsome online. Great things like Forge where you customize maps. Thousdands of things ONLINE and many, many maps. Theater mode, wow. So many things to do, you'll be having fun for eternity, if not longer. If you don't have this game, GET IT. If you have it, you agree right?

As expected, Halo 3 offered excellent graphics and lots of excitement. The only problem is the excitement didn't last. Of all the Halo games, this was by far the easiest to solve, offering less than three days of play. After all the hype and anticipation, I was disappointed at the lack of challenge.

This game is just amazing, I used to be a sony person for a very long time, but i had an x-box and the day i got halo 2 it was amazing and i new i had to buy a 360 jut for halo3 it is just amazing. I don't even touch my ps2 now so i highly recomment this game, even if your a sony person

This game is the best $60 I've ever spent! It is the best of the halo series. You have extra features the other halo games don't have (New maps,New weapons,etc.). I would recommend you get this halo if you want to buy a halo game. it will be the best $60 you've ever spent! Trust me.

Graphics are very good not great compared to other games like call of duty 4 or gears of war. The acting in the cinematics are absolutely fantastic and the game play along with the controls are top notch. A solid shooter game that delivers on the expectations of what a halo sequal shoult be.

I highly recomend this game.The campaign mode can be played solo or with a friend.I have played the campaign many times and will a lot more times.Its great to play with a friend.If you get this game i highly recomend xbox live.It has amazingly fun online gameplay and always has new DLC maps that are also really fun.The only problem is that when youre online there may be lag depending on the people your playing with.If this happens just go to the settings and select best connection instead of quikest.Dont worry it wont take to much longer than quikest.Then there is also a way you can tamper with maps and make new ones with thousands of weapons items and vehicles in forge mode on any multiplayer map.There is also a way you can change your look with unlockable armour and even change the colors of the armour.If you have liked other Halo games you will love this one and if you have never played any Halo games but like shooters you will love this game.

One of the best ways to play would have to be online being able to go to war with my friend in vegas when im clear in chicago, cant beat it. has to be the best multi player game i have ever played. graphics are awesome. The story mode in campaign is always fun to go throungh.

Oh man this is going to be the game of the year! up to 4-as many online players possible, two swords yo ucan hold, new guns & vehicles! Thousands of Covenant, one Master Chief....this will be a walk in the park!

what can i say? i love the whole halo series. it puts you right in action and, for a game thats been made for two years, it's still the greatest game for 360. the online play is awesome. campaign could be harder but it's a very good story line. overall, funnest game.

This game as stellar graphics. The campaign is much like the original halo-very fun! The multiplayer has map packs that enhance the game play. New features such as power-ups, etc. make the gameplay enhanced! I would reccomend this game to any shooter genre game fan!!!

Great end to the series. I still think Halo 1 is the best but Halo3 has the best MP. That being said be prepared to be owned on xbox live by elite players if you go in by yourself or if you are new to the series. Definitely a must have in your library of 360 games.

Halo 3 builds upon the concepts of Halo 2 in ways that you'd expect, but there are also new modes and options that send the series in exciting new directions. The Good: Satisfying storyline that simultaneously provides closure while making you wonder what will happen next. Four-player online co-op is a lot of fun Forge mode map editor lets you do some extremely crazy and unexpected things. Web integration makes sharing new maps and custom modes easy. The Bad: Rewinding saved films doesn't work quite like you'd expect it to. AI-controlled Marines can't drive to save their lives (or yours). Inevitable flood of prepubescent online players sure to hamper your enjoyment of the online modes.

This game is great...the multiplayer is amazing, everything from the ranking system to the maps, the forge, everything is perfectly blended to make for a great multiplayer experience that will not get old for a long time and playable over and over. However the single player aspect this game lacks...pick up Cod 4 or Gears of War for a great campaign mode. The graphics are amazing the sound quality is also very good, playable characters now include the arbiter...worth it right there..., and the AI isn't stupid and can be very deadly very fast...legendary. If you are going to play the campaign i recomend to get some friends...3 for the best experience...that means you'll of course have to have the 4 controllers that can expensive. Overall this is a great game that could get game of the year but is lacking a little if you don't have it yet get it...it makes Xbox what it is.
