I would definitely recommend buying this the second it comes out! I was one of the testers and this game seriously blows Halo 2 out of the water!!!

This game has everything a 360 owner wants. Constant challenges, smooth gameplay, and great value. Halo 3 is just so much fun, that you just can't wait to get home to play. The story mode was very interesting to me in that most shooters have no solid storyline. However, Halo 3 has a great story that will keep you into to it until the end. The online matchmaking engine works great. You never have to worry about been thrown in to a game with people at very high levels. You play every online game knowing you have a chance to win.

this is a awesome game to buy. it has the great graphics and lots of extras you can find on the maps and a awesome game to play online.

Halo 3 is the best out of them all. It has great graphics and multiplayer. If you have xbox live it is a must have. My favorite game.

Great game, its a good shooter, strategy, so good stages images, grafics and movements. good weapons! but only two PJ for playing :(

This game as a 5 hour campain play so it is short to beat.But other than that it has a massive online play.That you will never get bored .

Halo 3 is an awesome game. the campaign is soooo much better than the halo 2 campaign, the multiplayer maps are great and the forge makes them even better, and the new armor permutation feature is sweet. But without a doubt, the best part of this game is the online play. if you do not have xbox live gold, then you will not realize how sweet this game is. The online play in this game is just as good as cod4, which one you like better is based on your playing style. I highly recommend this game to everyone.

As Halo 2 stands as one of my favorite games of all time, I had very high expectations for Halo 3. And it lived up to nearly all of them. The best thing about the game is the online multiplayer, which has taken up way too many hours of my life to count! The campaign is good as well, but it was a little short for my liking. Still, what's there is quality stuff. Overall, if you own an XBox 360, this should be a game you most definitely should own. One of, if not the best, experiences on the system.

This game is just fantastic to play. It is so much fun and is the only reason why I bought a xbox 360 in the first place. When playing online in matchmaking, there are over thousands of player all around the world from noobs to skilled generals whom you can play with while discovering strategies to winning in set games such as capture the flag or oddball. This game is extremely fun and addicting so it will be hard to put the controller down once you start playing especially online in matchmaking.

Great game. Pretty much blew me away with its multiplayer, campaign (not the best, but still fun) and superior file sharing.

I had never played Halo before. My cousin had just gotten Xbox for Chistmas. One week when i stayed with him during vacation he decided to go out and buy Halo. We didn't do anything else for 5 days after we opened the case except for eating and the occasional bathroom break. I was pulled into the world of Halo. The story was incredible, the action was intense. I bought a PS3. I still love the PS3 but the fact it doesn't have Halo is a bummer. I plan on buying an Xbox for the Halo series alone!

Hey, I would like to start this review of by saying this game is incriedable and unique in many ways. And if you are one of the very few who have never heard of the Halo series, its about an epic battle between two factions, the Covenant (an alien race), and the UNSC (a human race). You play as Spartan-117 (the Master Chief), the last of the UNSC's legendary SPARTAN 2 Military Program (A program that greated a line of biologically augmented super-soldier's) . The Covenant have been trying to fire all of the halo rings witch by doing so they think will send themselves to a world of harmony. But however, that is not the case. As the UNSC knows by firing the halo rings a parasite known as the infamous Flood is unleashed, the flood unleashes a horrible wrath of death to whomever it consumes. and the bodies that are consumed comeback as monsterious puppets that help due the Floods evil bidding. So you as Master Chief must stop the Covenant from firing of the halo rings. Now down to the the good stuff the gamplay. The gameplay is superior to many of its predecessor's with an epic singleplayer that is really truley addicting and thrives you to keep going until you now how it ends (I promise not to give away any spoliers). Know if your looking for multiplayer this game delivers. With many different game modes to choose from including Co-op, Team "slayer" (team deathmatch) MLG (major league gaming) and many more. And if you ever get bored just drag your friends to "forge" (a truley unique levely designer), or too theater were you and your friends can view a recording of your previous matches and take pictures of your favourite kills or record video of best matches and then go online and share them with all your other friends. So basically I fully reccommend this game to anyone who enjoys videogames, or even someone whos just starting out. So if for some reason if you don't have it go get it and enjoy.

As a former xbox system owner, this is one of the first xbox 360 games purchased and it rocks! Amazing graphics, particularly the ability to do film-mode where you can folllow your previous actions during gameplay with a "camera" following yourself or "filming" other action in the scene previously played. Lighting effects are photorealistic. Only drawback I have read is the relatively short Campaign mode, but as far as I can tell it's still pretty challenging and I have a long way to go!

I didn't even preorder this game, becuase i was kinda falling out of the video game world, but when it came out on 9/25 i just had to get it. I brought it home and played for hours. The new surroundings and land design is cool. I especially love being able to rewatch my gameplay and create screenshots. I haven't even played online yet, but have almost finished the game. The only thing i wish they would've done is make the Battle rifle sound louder like it did in Halo 2.

Great game, one of the few i buy for the campaign alone, the multiplayer is awesome as well. Halo has never dissapointed..Bungie has a great formula for making the Halo series. The only thing i could say is i kind of wanted more from the multiplayer levels...but im not complaining too much about it. Hands down one of the best games...plus they released new maps and are planing on releasing more content in ODST the only draw back is it will cost you more money.

Halo 3 definitely does not live up to the hype. All Bungie did was take Halo 2 change the levels and add a couple new weapons and vehicles. Graphically it does not come close to most Next Gen games. Single player mode can be beaten in 5-6 hours on normal. Legendary will take a bit longer. Don't get me wrong...Halo 3 is a fun game and worth the money if you plan on using multiplayer. I think Microsoft should of taken some of that $10 million spent on marketing and put it in their game.

I'm just getting back from a demo in San Fransico, CA and this game is cooler then what the hype is all about. you can record your missions and later take screen shots of all your best kills and send them to friends. if that wasnt enough the new weapons are AWESOME!!! you can also edit maps to your liking (weapons, vehicles, etc). share files on live and many more. i gotta go! need to get ready to head out for NY to set-up the next demo of Halo 3. hope this helps.

Halo 3 is a terrific ending to an awesome trilogy. The multiplayer is spectacular. This is a must have for any FPS fans.

When i first got halo 3, it smeeded like the best game ever. The online is great, lots of maps to use. The forge feature was reall fun to use to. But then christmas time i got Call of Duty 4. When i tried to play halo the graphics seemed to be a bit choppy and not as fun. If you just got your 360, i think it'd be worth it to buy Halo 3, but if you had yours for a long time, i would'nt get it.

I think that this is the best 360 game so far. My favorite feature would be that you can have 4 people play online against everyone else. Most games can't do this and it is great when you have alot of people over. I also like the guns in this. There are a variety of choices and features and they are great. This took a step up from Halo 2, although it was fun. It is starting to get a little old, but it is still a blast to play online and with your friends.
