With all the hype that was involved with this game, I have to say I was disappointed upon finishing the game. The campaign is way too short for people who got the game for this reason. It seems as if they focused more on the people who have xbox live rather than those who do not. Do not get me wrong, the xbox live is great and always will be, but this is about the only thing that delivers for this game.

Ok i'm not a Halo fanboy so i can give you a objective review. This game was over hyped to many people fell into that hype. I have played the first two, and the third one was nothing realy all that new. The camp was fun to play threw alone and with three other freinds that is right you can play with three other freinds. THe camp was a bit bland tho you just walk around then shoot stuff then walk around some more get into some vehicles and shoot some more. This was not the best way to rap up this story. I wanted more then just walk and shoot. the online game play is the same as always you have to deal with a bunch of winey jerks almost makes it unbarebale at time. Stil fun to be able to make you r own maps some what. I wish that they would ahve done more with that. they only thing that you can do is change weapons and vehicle. You can not move and of the structures. That was a bit of a disapointment. This game was great the play threw I find my slef not playing it any more, and i ahve moves on to othe games, and revisting other ones. If you like the first two you will like this one. Great game just not all that it lives up to hype wise

Well, how can you go wrong here? Halo's single player co-op was one of the MANY reasons I bought H3. This game blew me away! Also, saving clips and screen shots and then sharing them with other friends was just amazing. Forge was insane too, I had been looking forward to that in the longest while. I was not disappointed. Must have for any previous Halo players or any regular FPS fan.

Halo is an alright story not great. Graphics were well under my expectations. Overall not much change.... accept for the onlne play. The online play is so awesome, I play everyday for months now. Other games I stop playing after I beat it but halo 3's replay potential is amazing. I have so many videos saved of me kicking but. There are so many different types of games so anyone could be made happy.

When you get the chance to co/op halo 3 with 3 buddies that are not even in the same city as you and who don't want to go until you beat the game on Legandary. You know you have a good game. Not only can you co/op but aslo multiplay for hours. There is just tons of stuff to do in this game and the graphics are amazing! I bought this game and have not been able to put it down since.

I just got my Xbox 360 for Christmas and i thought that i had to get Halo 3! I was right. It was a really fun game. to play but the only problem is that it is to short. But it is pretty fun to replay. They have a few new weapons but nothing to get to excited about. I still think it is a deffinenet buy. Don't let the too short campain turn u away. Online play really extends the game further.

This is my introduction to the Halo series. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the game. However, the game itself is rather shorter than I had anticipated. I believe that the multi-player online modes help make up for the lack of story development. So if you are buying this game solely for single player mode, I would have to say that you will not be getting the full Halo 3 experience.

I recently have bought this game for my boyfriend for his birthday. He said that it was outstanding. The graphics are just incredible. Ladies, if you want to get your man something for his birthday that you know he will love, THIS is it. Trust me. He has never liked a video game more. It is amazing. Do yourself a favor. Impress him with buying him this video game. Wow.

This game toppled it's predecessors by far in every category with the exception of online lag. With the atrocious amount of users often the server does not seem able to support everyone, and you get messages saying it can't retrieve any information (many, many gamers have experienced, not just myself.) However, there are two incredible alternatives: campaign and forge.

The sequel to one of the best sequels of all time. Sadly, not living up to its name in the competitive world, Halo 3 is still a fun game to play with friends when you are at a party, or even when you are up at 1:00 am by yourself. If you played Halo 2 and were good at it and like it, you probably won't like this game, because of the dramatic reduction of skill needed to play it. However, if you haven't yet played any of the other 2 Halo games in the series, you will mostly buy into the hype of this game and enjoy it. In the transition from halo 2 to halo 3 they have definitely switched the game to accommodate more inexperienced players, if you are going to play this game just to have fun with your friends, you will more than likely end up doing that, because this game is perfect for screwing around on. The new forge option in the game allows you to create your own maps and have an awesome time on them, Tony Hawk style. Definitely a good buy if you aren't going to take the game too seriously, but if that's what you're aiming for, you should go pick up Shadowrun.

Really, I love how everyone complains about HALO 3's campaign. I mean seriously it's better than HALO 2's. Also if you're gong to by HALO 3 you should know first that it's basically an online game. HALO 3 is the best multiplayer game out there. If you don't believe me just go to www.mlgpro.com Also I'm rating the difficulty by how hard it is online playing MLG.

This game is absolutely great. It is a fitting conclusion (supposedly!) for a great series. The single player storyline is great. Playing co-op is a blast. The added "skulls" which modify the campaign experience, along with the campaign scoring, which allows co-op players to compete for the best performance, adds unlimited replay value to an already great game.

Ok so here it is. Its a good game with a good story. The live is o.k. but it can get boring after a while. also when gaining x.p. to go up ranks you can gain it or lose it also. (instead of having no loss in call of duty 4) But the customization of your player is awsome. If you like the first 2 in the trilogy buy it if not i recomend call of duty 4 or Rainbow 6 vegas 2.

When I first got this game, I thought it was the best game I ever played, soon i figured out it was not. The realism is terrible, for example, when you laser somebody with the spartan laser there should be a big hole wherever you got hit. the campaign is short. It's is a good game though.

I just got this and an Xbox 360 on Christmas 2008, and I overplayed it a little. I beat the campaign in a day and a half. My brothers don't like to play multiplayer with me, because I'm too good. I wish I had live, and this is a great present, to Halo players and all! This is worth the money, great for people new to Xbox. You must get this game! :D

This game is the best game of all time. I thought the map editing and photos are great add ons to the game. I also loved how in the campain only 1 person can play as Master Chief and the others are the Arbiter and Elites. The only problem is when you get 4 people on co-op the game is very simple in the campain otherwise it was an incredible game.

I play halo 3 almost everyday. I have beaten the story mode on legendary (hardest difficulty) and i have played over 1000 games online. the graphics are amazing and the online program matches you up with people who have the same skill in the game. I would highly recommend this game to people who have xbox360 and love video games/ shooter games.

i think it is a very fun and i enjoy playing this game! you can get some easy gamerscore on xbox if that is what your after =]]. i have a fun time playing this game online with friends and even campaign is a very fun thing. online you can play up to 16 people and campaign you can play with 4. this game is a little of a challenge and very fun.
