The campaign mode is brilliant. And the additions of 4 player campaign, as well as online campaign mode make it much more interesting than the previous Halo game. The multiplayer is more intricate than ever, adding new features like the bubble shield and portable gun turrets. Overall, Halo 3 is a new experience that is definately worth buying.

The graphics are very nice and the new features are cool. However, the campaign mode if very short and online matchmaking takes forever (Bungie claims they are aware of this problem and are trying to fix it) For all the time spent by Bungie and all the hype it got pre-release, it could have been better, but the game is well worth the money for Halo fans.

ok well i read the reviews above mine, but there is one thing i have to say and that is halo 3 is the ABSOLUTE WEAKEST halo game i have ever played, i have been a halo gamer ever since CE was released and was expecting great things. but when i first picked up the game and ran through the campaign i discovered some things...no more BXR glitches, no super bounces, skulls made game slightly harder... online play is usually laggy because microsoft hasnt switched to server hosts so you still have to go through the "black screen", i have multiple videos of where i have beatdown a guy and he just runs away, where i have shot a guy 4 times in the head and he just sits there then i die, the whole combat system is VERY VERY different from halo 2. the glitches made H2 the game it was, by being able to always get better, now its just a "who shot first" type of deal. but i was EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED in bungie for releasing this peice with the name halo on it. dont get me wrong the storyline was great, but the overall game made me want to break my disc. if you want a game to play and u dont have live... then pick it up, otherwise prepare to break some stuff in your house because that guy lived when u stuck him :)

well i have played all the halo games i have to say this would be the best of them all but there is one thing that irritates me...... LAG! online it gets so annoying like the worst of them all is when you slash someone in the back with the sword and NOTHING HAPPENS! i hate that but that pretty is much all that is bad about this game.

Okay, I admit it, Halo 3 doesn't set any new trends in the field of FPS games nor does it dramatically change or revolutionize the gameplay from its previous sequels. What Halo 3 does do however is put everything in the game to make the fun last as long as possible. And that's pretty much what any gamer could ask for in a game.

Halo 3 is the end of Halo story. It's my first game of this saga, my interest is play and finish the game for after sell. But is one really good game, and I don't gonna sell never. Graphics is wonderful. Music is fantastic! And the History? Without words. Someone Xbox 360 need this game in your collection, is obligation!

This is another great halo game. The story mode is kind of short, but it is still a great part of this game is the online modes. There are a ton of online modes to play that you will never get tired of. This is a must have for a xbox 360 owner. You will never get tired of there different ways you can go in this game.

The campaign mode, both solo and co-op is fantastic. Lots of fun extras like humorous AI quotes. The storyline is great and graphics are pretty good. Unfortunately the online team matches are spoiled by bad sportsmanship conduct by most players on this Halo craze. Sad to see such a great game ruined online by immature people.

Everything about this game is awsome now you can have ranks and skill to show how good you are. You can even edit maps to your likeings. The thing i like to do is try to make a sweet race track for everymap then race them with my friends so if you dont have this game go buy it now you will enjoy for a long time.

This game is the best game I have ever played, I was a fan of halo 2 but it is not even in the same league as halo 3. One of my favorite parts of halo 3 is that there is no way to cheat!!! Everything in the game has been upgraded, and was the most highly anticipated video game release ever, and for good reason!

I think overall this is a great game, the only downfall is the game was super short for what the other two games were leading up to. Other than that the online play is super fun you can create your own character and I've replayed it a couple times to get all the extra things unlocked so there is a ton to do.

I played Halo 2 on system link and splitscreen almost everyday for probably over two years, no other game I've ever played stayed fun for that long. Now that Halo 3 is out, I'm sure that it will be a permanent replacement. I played through the single player of Halo 2 only once, but the Halo 3 single player is a lot more fun, especially with co-op mode (online!). Since I play mainly on system link and splitscreen, I can easily say that the interface is much improved for the most part, like the ability to join a splitscreen game that is in progress. Although there are some annoying issues now when a player playing with others on the same 360 needs to change their controller settings and goes into the pause menu and it disrupts every player on the screen (This is especially annoying during system link and live games where the game is still going on but every player on that 360 can't move, shoot or even see but they can hear and feel themselves getting killed). All in all, a small price to pay for an excellent game that will be fun for a long time to come!

I played H3 for a good amount of time when it first came out, but it has been sitting on my shelf for the last 6 months. However, they've added some new custom game variants to the matchmaking playlist and added achievements to them as well (if you like that kind of thing). My personal favorite new game type is called "Grifball" (if you've seen Red vs Blue you'll see the association). Basically, it is a 4v4 match that has everyone running around with gravity hammers and swords, it's an assault mission so you win by taking the bomb that starts in the middle of the field and planting it in your opponent's base. It has a very football like feel to it, because you and your teamates have to block for your bomb carrier until they can find a seam to run it in for the score. Like I said, I hadn't played H3 in months, but this weekend alone I just logged probably 15 hours. It's also rekindled my desire to also play some of the other custom game variants like "Infection" and "Rocket Race". There's nothing like a good zombie game type to get hyped.

This is the HALO people were waiting to get. It top out at $170 million it's first day out. The game is a thrill ride of FPS(first person shooter) Great story and Outstanding gameplay. So if you haven't got HALO fever go get it.It's a rush.

If you have live then you'll never get tired of this game. It has amazing picture and no lag time. HOWEVER, withouot LIVE it is a little dull and alot of shooting all the time. If you play on a high difficulty you're going to need alot of players because it is extremely difficult. Very well done though.

Halo 3 is a great game, the only bad thing about it is it is very addicting. its the best xbox live game ive ever played, and the campaign is co op which is one of the best things they did for halo 3. I totally recomend this to anyone seeking a great shooting and multiplayer game, so go out and buy it.

So, what more can be said about Halo, it's a classic game that will undoubtedly go down in history as such. However as far as first person shooters go, the game is getting slightly dated. The storyline is continued from previous games, and theres nothing new and exciting about it. The online game is nice however

This is hands down, the best game ever made! I love the multiplayer! can spend hours upon hours playing this game and never get bored of it. you can play with all your friends online and other people all around the world! If you own an Xbox 360, this is a Have too own game! do not pass this one up!

It is the best war game ever. it has the best weapons. my favorite is the the energy sword it is the bes.t you can sneek up on people. I can not wait until halo 3 odst comes out. you need to get it it will bee as good as halo 3

I love the game and all (especially the online play) but sometimes the glithes are annyoing. The game is still great dont worry you'll get pass the glithes or get use to them. I love the online play and that you can play story mode online with four people! Sadly mistaken was mistaken its not such a bad game.
