This is one of the greatest online multiplayer games for the xbox 360. The campaign is very dissapointing. It gets boring but the story is good and it is fun to play Co-op with friends. The graphics are good but I think they could be better. Personally, I believe that Halo 2 is a better game than this one. Its online was better but Halo 3 doesn't have as much lag and has no glitches. All in all, this game is definatley worth buying if you do any online gaming.

This game is so amazing! The campaign was really fun but alittle short but the multiplayer makes up for it bigtime. If you liked Halo 1 & 2 this is definetly no dissapointment. This is by far the best of the halo series. The new weapons are amazing and the new equipment adds for completely new play of games. There are many game types you can search for and many offered for guests if you have friends over. a MUST buy for anyone with a 360

Absolutely one of the best games to come out for Xbox360. The campaign didnt take too long to beat nor was it that difficult, but Halo 3 is all about playing online. Bungie does a great job at adding new maps, and setting up new game modes. Every weekend they make a different game mode worth double experience in order to level up faster. Check it out, great graphics, great game play, and will bring hours of fun. Definitely worth buying

Halo 3 is an incredible game.It has wonderful graphics and a great story line.gameplay is wonderful and has no reported glitches. The gameplay is way better than the original Halo 1 and 2. The online play is also wonderful and has a variety of things to do. The only disipointing thing in this game is a very disipointing ending cut scene. But other than that its an awesome game. I recomend this game to all videogame fans.

halo 3 is the best halo game by far! new weapons! maps! and more. It has an option called theatre where you can watch previously played games! and forge where you can make your own changes to a halo 3 map. you can make your own spartan or elite. unlock new armor! and if you get all the achivements you can get a katana which is a sword that goes on the back of your spartan! this game is a must have for the 360!!!!

The game is incredible with graphics that are uncharacteristic of th other halos. Bungie fixed virtually all the problems with the previous multiplyers. Perfect for online gaming because it allows up to 16 players in a social match. The campaign is challenging at times and will keep gamers busy for a while. Only problems is you can't play it enough and the some achievements are hard to get EX: steppin razor

Good game, exactly what you would expect from the company. Graphics look great and the story keeps you into it until the very last. The only downside was the story did seem a bit shorter than previous versions. The multiplayer has different suits you can wear now, so that was a nice change. Even if you are not a fan, if you like FPS games then get it.

This is a game that should be bought for the 360. This is a game you want to buy if you like online games and shooters. Beautiful graphics, good detail and fantastic storyline make this game a must get. Not only is there a good storyline and excellent multiplayer, but there is also a new feature that lets you modify maps and add objects to existing maps. This game online is spectacular.

If you like FPS games, this is a no brainer. If you like Halo, this is a no brainer. If you want an amazing story, inventive weapons and innovative gameplay... this game is pretty good. But online is where this game really shines as an example of what to do. If you don't like playing online, you'll still enjoy the campain mode, but you probably won't hold onto this title.

If you liked Halo 2, then hold on tight because Halo 3 totally surpasses its previous versions by a longshot. I use to own Halo 2, but I wasn't real impressed, but with new maps, and new weapons, Halo 3 brings a whole new element to the game. I'm addicted to it now, Halo 3 moves so much smoother. Play it on Xbox Live to see how fast you can move up to ladder.

Make no mistake, Halo 3 is the best Halo ever. Not only are the graphics worlds better than in previous installments, the game play and epic scale is unsurpassed. It definitely still feels like Halo, and the graphics aren't as good looking as something like Bioshock, but the seamless check points, minimal loading, and fantastic screen and video capture features put this first person shooter over the top. The game is definitely a showcase for the Xbox 360 and should be purchased and played by all, regardless of your interest in first person shooters. Like Halo 1 and 2 before it, Halo 3 not only has FPS action, but also numerous vehicles which are controlled via a 3rd person perspective, and some weapons are also used from a pseudo 3rd person perspective. All gaming sessions can be watched in the Halo 3 theater, and in there you can detach the video camera, stop and start the action, fast forward, capture screen shots, and for non-campaign sessions, even save edited video clips. It is a very robust tool that in and of itself can provide countless hours of fun. When you throw multiplayer into the mix, Halo 3 is an amazing game well worth the asking price and one that you will undoubtedly play more than once. Highly recommended.

This game is the only reason I bought a 360 over a PS3. And thankfully it lived up to my expectations. The graphics are pretty good. Not as good as a few other 360 games, but still good enough. The game play is great. Computer AI on the Heroic and Legendary difficulties has been improved quite a bit. I do recommend that if you're a seasoned Halo and Halo 2 player, you start the campaign right away on at least Heroic. Normal mode is just simply way to easy. Perhaps on of the best things about the game is the sound. I have it hooked up to a home theater system and an LCD TV, and it is just an incredible, enveloping experience. And of course with the solid online multi-player, I know already that I'll get just as many years of enjoyment out of this one as I did Halo and Halo 2. Don't even hesitate. Just buy it now. (oh, but don't waste your money on the Limited Edition. I did, and I have to say that was ten extra dollars, poorly spent)

As soon as the Xbox 360 was launched everyone was waiting for the realease of Halo 3. Ever since playing the pre-release beta I can say the updates make this feel like a whole new challange. The gameplay feels smooth even through all the action that happens throughout the game. Also with new weapons and defenses it now takes more than just brute force to win matches but brains as well. Can't say much about the story line of the game, because it's not out yet, but I sure everyone will love the 4 player co-op opption. if there was ever a reason to sign up for Xbox Live gold now is the time. This title is a must have for the Xbox franchise.

This is the greatest game series ever made. ...... Pros ...... The gameplay is amazing. The way the controller movements react with the actual game is flawless. Your given weapons are very strong for beginner weapons which is great. Best graphics ever for any game for any system (even though 360 graphics are the best anyways) The online play is great and very active as you can imagine how popular this game is. ......... Cons ......... The storyline is slowpaced but has a great ending. Not to spoil but if you beat the game on legendary there is a different and more complete ending then if you beat the game on any other difficulty.The Melee atck is way to powerful killing everyone in one hit lol. Not really a con for me but it is kinda cheap that you can kill someone in one hit with a little wimpy pistol. The amo for the assault rifle and the ever sacred gun the needler are not enough. If you miss it seems like you will die because you dont have enough amo at all. So becareful using those two guns. Hope my review helped you all to understand the game a little better.

This game in the halo trilogy is quite amazing by far better than the other Halo's. I wolud not only reccomend this to someone who likes halo but someone who just likes to play video-games. The story line is very interesting the graphics are unbelieveable and even multiplayer is great. Anyone should definitly get halo 3

Halo 3 is the completion of the Halo trilogy (don't worry if you haven't played the other games, there's a recap in the guidebook) The story, as with the other games, is awesome, and the ending is great. The weapons have been fined-tuned and are great now, the enemie AI is fantastic, But the friendly AI does have trouble when they get in a worthog (one of the vehicles) but other then that their great. If your looking for a good First-person shooter, or a good game period, definitely get Halo 3.

This game is unbelievably fun. If you like first person shooters, it is a must have. Grapics are great, storyline is good, overall a lot of fun. Multiplayer can't be beat. All multiplayer statistics are available online from bungie.net, which adds another really neat element to this game.

After playing the whole game through on every difficulty, I can tell you the overall gameplay has not changed (except for the controls), some new campaign elements were added, but it felt the same as the last two and was nothing special. In fact, while I may be panning a little to hard, the campaign feels like a mini-game next to the best multiplayer on 360 and probably on every system. A must own, definitely if you have a 360; but there would be no reason just to purchase a 360 for Halo 3. I'm not saying that the game is overrated, cause it's not. It met my expectations and millions of others, but I don't think I am the only one with a feeling of dissapointment for the campaign. It had the potiential to be so awesome in many different ways (i.e. better ally AI, No story explanation unlike Halo 2, kind of went back Halo CE: not alot of background info) If you have a 360, get this game and an Xbox live account along with it. A must have and great gameplay, fun, and years of enjoyment; just wishing the campaign could have been better.

This game was well worth the money and it deff. lived up to the hype. Though many people think the game is boring and a waste of money i have to disagree. this game is suitable for ages 14+. In this game you are able to use a variety of weapons and drive many vehicles. This game is more of an online game so if you want to get it just for the campaign rent it. the weapons on the online part of the game consist of snipers, smg, battle rifle, shotgun, turrets, energy swords and the futureistic weapons include spartan lasers, missile pods, beam rifles and many more. The vehicles are as well including tanks, banshees( aircraft ) and mongooses(atv). and many more. on online there is a rank up system that lets other people see how good you are at the game. this is a similiar system to cod4. the online is usually family friendly and is an experience all xbox live subscribers should live. all in all this game is a must have for all xbox 360 owners and should bring joy to all players.

I knew that this game would be good but it completely blew my mind. Brilliant graphics, and gameplay. I absolutely love the multiplayer maps and the ability to create your own and move stuff around with the forge. I would have to say that this is by far the best game I have ever played.
