Halo3 tells a great tale. That is one of the best things about it. It gives us the conclusion to a story that is accessible to people who just want a good 6-7 hour game and gives the Halo Fanatics a good conclusion that will prove satisfiying to those that have read the books and eat up every detail provided in the game. But where Halo 3, or Halo in general, truly shines is in the multiplayer realm. Online multiplayer, Forge (a great addition), and local play are all done so well that even PC Shooter enthusiasts are likely to love it (except maybe the controller part of it). A new ranking system, more medals, more weapons, more vehicles. This is a culmination of all Halos rolled into one superbly presented package that plays fantastic, looks good (not stellar graphics,e.g. Bioshock), sounds great, and has enough options and goodies to keep someone playing it for years. After all, Halo 2 was still on top of the Xbox Live Most Played list after all this time. Get it.

Halo 3 finishes the story of Spartan 117 against the insance prophets of the Covenant that seek to destroy all life in the universe to obtain divinity. While it was good to hear out the end (?) of the story I found Campaign to be lackluster and alittle disappointing compared to the previous two chapters. It didn't have that Halo feel until the very end as I was escaping an exploding vessel in a Warthog...again. While the play is great, and the game is very pretty, it was just missing that magic 30 seconds of fun the first two had.

This game is amazing...but its halo so what do you expect...Multiplayer online is still where its at. It has a great story to it but is a little short and the campaign doesn't have much replay value...If you have xbox live and want a solid shooter, you need to pick this up

This is really the game to beat...The graphics are unbelievable...gameplay is smooth and flawless. The storyline is just to good to be true....The game really brings you into the story and has you really believe you are experiencing it yourself..... A++++++++++++++++

Bought this game on launch day and it was the best. The game play changed and i don't like it as much as the game play of halo 2 but the story and controls are much better. Great new weapons and online is good. Would highly recomend to anyone who likes first person shooters.

This game has taken the halo series to the next level with blazing graphics, and intense gameplay. Blast your enemies away with a whole slew of new explosive weapons, and fly across maps in newly desigend vehicles such as a the mongoose, a highspeed atv for 2.

I wanna start off by saying this is a great purchase for halo fans and noobs alike. Halo is truley a sight to see in HD. The stroy mode is engaging and fun. Although its short it is fun all the way through. The multiplayer is insanely fun. There are a bunch of different play types. You have the normal capture the flag and slayer/team slayer, but what is really fun is the new addition, forge. With forge you are able to manipulate the world and its surroundings, making for fun multiplayer matches or cool machinima short movies. The sound quality and system performance is great. No glitches hiccups; runs really smooth. Now the graphics are truley next gen, but games gears of war have top notch detailed environments and character models. Bungie missed a huge oppertunity to impress with character animation. The pros deffinitley outway the cons. This is a must have for all 360 owners.

The campaign was a lot of fun, we finally get to see the end of the trilogy that a lot of us have been following for some time now. The skull system made the game a lot of fun since you could customize the campaign to make it more challenging or more fun. Ability to play the campaign online was a good move but it desperately needed increased difficulty for having a maximum of four people because without skulls you would tear through levels on Legendary. My main complaints with the storyline would have to be that it was way too short. Multiplayer is a lot of fun, but also frustrating at times. Some of the most fun I've had is just playing with a group of friends, not on xbox live. I found myself often frustrated with the tactics of online players, heavy use of vehicles and power weapons. However, all in all, the online is very nice as well. Good game, great buy, lots of fun.

HALO 3 IS SO COOL IT AS AMAZING GRAPHICS AND IT HAS THE BEST MULTIPLAYER. IT IS SO WORTH THE MONEY. THE GUNS ARE REALY COOL TO. THERE ARE ALOT OF MAPS SO YOU WONT EVER GET BORED. THE SINGLE IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE MULTIPLAYER. TOTALY BUY IT!!!!!

Ive only had this game for a day but have played it at my friends house for months and it is by far the best game out their. Not only is it creative and interesting unlike CoD4 which only has real life things that youve seen in other games before, but it is a great multiplayer game with your friends. It has really cool new weapons like assortments of grenades and some new intense weapons which add to the reasons why it is better then CoD4 and Halo 2. But if ou dont have XBOX Live, i would only give it a 4.5 because even though the campaign is good, the real action is online, but it is also god with your friends if you have enough contollers. Overall though, it is definitely worth the money because its a gme that you can play for ever with your friends and online because it never gets old. You should buy it pl0x.

This game is the sole reason i purchased an xbox 360. And let me tell you, this game rocks. The story is kinda short, but its a good story. Online play is fun, and forge is cool. This game will cure any case of boredom that you have.

Halo 3 is a great game. If you are a fan of the series get it. The graphics are amazing, there is new weapons, items, and moves. You can change the look of your armor and helmet. I wish the campaign had another level or two though.

Love the weapons, graphics, vehicles, campaign and online play. You just have some problems online like redbaring, lagging out, your internet isn't compatable with some one else's, or the game restarts finding you players online.

The game is a classic great storyline, graphics and it's really fun. The best thing is the online play, easy to get to and very exciting. Although the game is about a year old, it is still worth the money, it never gets old.

This is game is sweet. It's got good graphics, game play and story. One of my favorite Xbox games. Great value, great everything. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is the best game i have ever bought. Aside from the fact that the campain only lasts 10 levels, it is an awesome game. Since it is played on Xbox 360 you all ready know that the color, sound, and picture quality will be fantastic. But the graphics almost seemed real the first time I played. It seems to be like you areactually in the game fighting along with mastercheif. The campain features many different level layouts; i.e. snow, sunset, in the air, fighting in vehicals, shooting down phantoms. Playing in the forge mode allows you to edit the map while you play. You can also move things like cars, weapons, starting points. But you can also even buy more objects. Overall this is the best game ever; also the best triology ever. - Halo, Halo 2, & Halo 3. thnks Bungie.

This game takes the Halo series to a new level of game play. I've been able to follow the trilogy since it was first released and I have been starving for more and more. This game has the graphics and game play that you would expect for a next generation game, and has a large amount of downloadable content for those online fans. I have yet to really explore the multiplayer realm of this game but from what I have seen there are some crazy maps to play, all of which look beautiful and are large enough to hold up to 32 players without it feeling too cramped. This is truly the best of all the Halo games and I would suggest buying it right away if you haven’t already. (For those who don’t have a 360 the Halo 360 looks pretty sweet and it’s the same price as a regular 360!!)

I just bought this game the other day with my new 360. I know that it has been out for a while but it just doesn't get old. I was tired of always playing at my friends house so I bought my own and I could not be happier with the purchace. The graphics are incredible for the price and it is good for hours of fun on xbox live with your friends. The thing that I like about halo 3 is that you can play with three other people on xbox live with one system, unlike call of duty where only one person can play at a time on xbox live. If you cant decide between halo 3 or call of duty 4 definitely pick halo 3. I also just got the wireless adapter for xbox live so it looks great on my hd tv and you dont have to worry about the ethernet cable.

Great game, especially with live. This game has one of the best graphics in my gamre collection other than COD4. Great gameplay and great storyline (Campaign). I would definently get this game if I were you.

I love Halo 3 for Xbox 360. Thr graphics are some of the best ever for a video game. This is the very end of the Halo trilogy and it is one heck of a game. The sound is also amazing when you hear the sound of a gunshot and a captain calling an order. The online is also the best ever on a video game. Halo 3 is the most customizable game I have ever played. You can customize your character and even customize maps with FORGE. You can even use the maps in custom games. In another year when this game is almost 2 years old, people will stil be playing it because this game will never get old due to the amazing online gameplay. A game like this will never live up to expectations if you hype it this much.
