While i wish there was more master chief in the story, This plays out like a summer blockbuster with a crazy budget and the ability to play co-op with friends online is a great addition.

I have played online one game mainly going through the campaign and just finished Breakthrough and Kraken Lackin Achievements and the graphics are out of this world. Great game as usual.

The campaign is okay, but fun. It's completely different than what was sold to us by Microsoft. Multiplayer is the best in the series and takes the Halo franchise to a new level.

What there is in Halo 5 is very good. The problem lies mostly in what was left out. Halo 5 is the first Halo to not have any sort of splitscreen multiplayer. No co-op campaign or even competitive multiplayer. This is a huge turn-off for many buyers and can't be stated clearly enough. Other than that, multiplayer is great. Both Arena (classic 4v4) and Warzone (large scale 12v12 with a MOBA-like feel) are very well done. The problem is that it is missing an in-between. All arena maps are arenas, that is to say "closed in". There are no open maps to run around on a warthog with teammates against another small team. While this doesn't make the game worse, there is something to say about the fact that Blood Gulch is missing.

First off, the BIGGEST disappointment is that there is no offline co-op/splitscreen capability at all... you can however play over Xbox Live without a Gold membership for the campaign. So far, it is a fine-tune of Halo, no major core differences. Some of the guns have been buffed/nerfed but it plays like Halo 4 with a bit of Reach. The campaign story is interesting enough, but you could be completely lost if you have not read the books, there isn't much of an intro into where all these extra Spartans came from and why Master Chief plays a bit differently than Locke (Spartan II vs Spartan III). So, if you love Halo I'd buy this but if you want a game to play with friends like the old Halos, this is not the game to get.

Pros: Content in the box are really nice. It comes with a rare metal earth figure that is an excellent desk ornament or collectors item. The steel book is also very nice and way better than the regular edition. Multiplayer is what saved this game. It is extremely fun and if you have friends to join in, it can be a blast. Cons: Story is horrible and did not earn the cliffhanger ending. Major plot holes and completely ignored a majority of halo 4's plot. Very disappointing and now die-hard fans need to wait about 3 more years for an ending. Story will be forgotten quick in this game.

I am really impressed with the new addition to the Halo family the story and the multiplayer are off the charts. I would recommend it highly. The steelbook, and the extras make this edition well worth it.

I have played halo since day one and although some have me down this one is a true halo game. I love it great game! Online is fantastic campaign is pretty great it's self!

This game I would say out of all halo games, it could be one of the best I played, but cons are is no split screen, if you're expecting split screen then you're out of luck, but overall, is fun to play!

Such a great game, how could you not get this game for your Xbox. Another great chapter in the halo series. Graphics are beautiful, gameplay is great. You cant beat Halo

Great game in my opinion the best halo Multiplayer since Halo 2 although I feel like the story on the campaign could have been more detailed overall im really satisfied.

I read all the pre reviews on Halo5 and let me tell you the game play and graphics are the best that has been produced for the Xbox One. IT's a great game over all !!!

Like the direction 343 is going but the story felt too short, not enough Master Chief & the videos would cut to black before they were finished. But overall it's great

I was first hesitant to pick up this game. However after learning more about the new warzone mode online and new Req system offered I knew I had to pick this up. Great campaign and multiplayer.

Halo 5 is at its best when playing the new multiplayer. Those that came for the single player story continuing the tale of master chief are gonna feel a little disappointed due to the writing.

Great game. Campaign is OK but online gameplay is amazing. Very recommended to play with other people. One of the best 2015 FPS. Must have for Xbox One users!

Fun game to play. Need more multi player maps. Single player was a blast to play though. Story was hard to hear but if you listen to everything its a good one.

The story is a bit short,but it is still great. I think there should have been more maps available for online, but hopefully 343 puts more. Great multiplayer.

Although I am a huge Xbox fan I was never a fan of the Halo series. I always felt g he storylines were a bit dry and predictable. This game is no different the marketing for the game had me hyped with idea of Chief facing off with Spartan Locke. There wasn't much of that story line told throughout the game which was very disappointing. The multiplayer is in a league of its own on the otherhand. It's just as good as the infamous Halo 2 multiplayer. If you wan t a sold multiplayer than this is for you if not then it's an easy pass.

This game is way better than Halo 4. They've fixed the Promethean race, returned nearly every weapon ever used in a Halo game, and filled it with an engaging story. The new abilities, like the ground pound are really fun. Multiplayer is awesome, with the Arena feeling like old-school Halo matches and the Warzone adding a whole different dimension to the game. The only reason I didnt rate it 5 stars is that this game does not have split-screen local multiplayer. This is a major mistake for 343 and I hope they hear it from fans. gone are the days of crawling through a legendary co-op campaign with your buddy in the same living room. This is a shame.
