HALO Combat Evolved Anniversary is the same as the original from 10 years ago. The only thing that's different is the graphics and sounds. The game is still good.

I still remember back in the day when Halo CE first came out where if you didn't play in LAN's then you were wasting your money not expierencing the game to the fullest. People have been asking for Halo CE remake for years and its finally coming out. A lot of people were dissapointed when they announced the remake will not have its own XBL multiplayer but a map pack for Halo Reach but either way its still worth the money to purchase the game. Beaver Creek remade and it looks amazing come on. ;)

The best story in any Halo game by far. Co-op Legendary isn't too challenging if both players know their FPSs, but skulls add a whole new paradigm to the campaign. Graphics are awesome and being able to switch from old-time to new and improved is fun. There's also an audio option to listen to original music or remastered.

The original Halo was a game changer back on the original xbox. The campaign was great and it was just something we had not seen before. Many years later with 5-6 more Halo games coming out it is still one of the best. The studio did a great job of re-mastering the game for the xbox 360 along with the multiplayer maps. This brought back a lot of great memories. The original Halo is still one of the best in the series so far. Check it out.

Finally going to beable to play HALO 1 on mulitiplayer that will be interesting ...Ive played ALL of the Halo games and each has there better points but it will be interesting to see how they make the weapons and armor merge since each game is different. I hope they dont over do it and take away the simplicity of what makes halo so much fun and easy to play like they did with the Reach...yah some of the of armor packs are fun like the running but the armor lock is a pain in the you know what...but thats just me. We shall see!!!

If you have yet to have played the first Halo, then this is just for you. Great game with great graphics. You also receive a few Halo: Reach Maps which you can play multiplayer in. So, it is kind of like two games for one. Great deal, I'd say, for any casual gamer. Fun campaign.

The anniversary Combat Evolved is a great remake of the original XBOX game. There is nothing new in the way of weaponry or story of course, but if you are a fan of the series you will love it. One really cool feature of this re-make is the option at any time to toggle between the graphics as they were or updated in this modern take. May sound odd, but I found myself switching back to the original graphics for location points and also to see the amazing advancements in graphics. If you like the halo series you must have this remake of the original game that set the standard.

This is a great classic game. Only halo 2 is better in the halo series.

I was 8 when the original halo combat evolved came out but I played it with my dad and friends, I still own my copy and love this game. The only down side to this is that the multi player is just halo reach. other than that its a pretty good buy. You get some new halo reach maps worth about 20 bucks, A Master Cheif suit for your avatar (male and female), and a special grunt skull for the campaign that makes the grunts explode on death. Then the campaign remastered. I played the old one nonstop and I can tell you they did a great job on the "re master" Graphics are the best ive seen.

This game is going to be great for Halo fans. As for people complaining about it I say this: Don't knock it til you play it. You probably know nothing.

A masterpiece if you're a long time halo fan which I am. The sole reason I bought an Xbox was because of this series. This is a must have for any halo fan. It has not been changed from the original halo which I loved as it brought back such good memories. The graphics are stunning and I love how you can switch back and forth with ease, we are spoiled nowadays with our graphics!

One of the best games of all time just got better with great graphics, enhanced gameplay and awesome multiplayer!

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a fun way to relive the original Halo: Combat Evolved, but with far better graphics. The graphics are on par with other Xbox 360 games, and the addition of Xbox Live adversarial and cooperative play is quite convenient. However, be aware that the netcode for cooperative play is not always good enough. I experienced severe lag while playing the last level, The Maw, on coop over Xbox Live.

Even if you already own the original you should pick this up. you never really know how far graphics have come until you play this game and hit the select button to revert back to the original game play. The added bonus of multiplayer packs just set this game off. I def recommend this for anyone wanting a Halo fix until 4 is released

This game brings back great memories from playing on the original Xbox with friends on two tv's side by side.

I loved the first Halo game on PC and XBOX, it has been made with revamped graphics and brings in the options to find different skulls with awesome effects like in the newer Halo games. I love this game and I definitely recommend it to all.

Loved Halo CE, and CEA makes the original Campaign better with new graphics and coop. But the severely failed with the multiplayer. It would have been great to play the original Halo CE Multiplayer over Xbox Live. But sadly they chose to use the Reach multiplayer instead.

This game is every bit as fun as the original Halo: CE. In my opinion the most dazzling part was the remastered soundtrack, the graphics did show an amazing improvement over the original graphics but weren't absolutely stunning.

Halo CE was my favorite game of all time so it was great to get an update with newer graphics. It is still the game we loved all those years ago 343 did a great job with it.

As a Halo fan this is a must buy. For those who have not played this ever task task missing out. This game is epic for an upgrade of the original.
