    I chose this smart smoke alarm because of its multi-functionality and its ability to integrate with the Samsung Smart Things and Amazon Echo. It was also rated better than the Nest. Very happy with my purchase

    Besides being one of the top rated smart smoke and CO alarm on the market, the Halo is also beautifully designed. They really need to allow it to be connected to ZigBee and WiFi simultaneously though.

    Everyone should get these. And I bet most of you don't know that the life of any smoke detector is 10-15 years. So yours are probably no good anymore.

    Too easy to install; removed old "house" wired smoke alarm and replaced the plug with all the required parts provided in the box. I programed this one with the Lowe's Irish app on my iPhone. So easy and quick set up. I like the Amber Alert option as well; much more to offer than just "weather alerts". Will also notify the local Fire Dept when triggered through the internet via the App. A must have to anyone who cares about the family and safety.

    While I was excited to read all the great reviews and to receive my order, I was disappointed in that the Halo CURRENTLY only comes in a Wired version. No ETA on the wireless. So unless you have a wired smoke detector this one is not for you. However, HALO states that it will be coming out with the Wireless at some point. But not sure when. I will have to wait.
