Does exactly what it says it does. Heats water and pours it out. Pros: Very easy to operate. Heats water very quickly (just a few minutes at max fill line). The power switch must be UP to heat, helping prevent accidental activations. Cons: The lid can throw drops of boiling water around when opened, so be careful. The small opening makes cleaning a bit annoying. Very short power cord.

RV Kettle

Wanted one that was not glass that might get broken while traveling. Heats up fast, love the color, and Hamilton Beach has been a great brand for us.

Was worried with some reviews, stating there was a bad taste. However, ran full water/heat 5 times through, no problems at all. Great all around, and quick!

Very handy to have quick source of hot water on our side for tea, instant coffee, instant cereal or even instant noodles etc. Takes all the work out of boiling water for anything. Quick and convenient, so will be put to use a lot.

The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the lid sticks slightly so simply pressing the button on top does not work, you also have to pull the lid up. This may only be the case for the one I bought and is only a small annoyance - perhaps not worth losing a whole star. In all the kettle is working well for now.
