My husband uses this pot the majority of the time. We have the black color with glass pot. He likes the extra capacity of the "five" cup over the prior pots at "four". He likes the cone filter because the water soaks through a concentrated area of grounds giving a better brew via cone. We turn the hot plate off when we are using other appliances in the kitchen at the same time (microwave/toaster) and this is where his bug comes in. He feels the on/off light is not bright enough. It is dimmer than all of our prior pots and he has to check to see if he put the pot back on after he is done with the other appliances. My opinion is I don't like the side the light is on because it has always been on the opposite side of the pot previously and for the way our counter is configured, it is harder to see the dimmer light on the side it is on. I am nervous about the glass pot it feels thin to me but he loves it and does not want a metal pot because then he doesn't know how much coffee is left. So 5 stars from him (a rarity)!

Coffee maker is of good quality. Keeps coffee hot after brewing. Easy to clean. My problem is with carafe. You can not pour a cup out without it going all over counter. I had another brand and it did the same. It looks like they could mold a lip into the stainless steel so it would pour properly. Many others have this problem also. It looks like it would be improved on. Other than that, great. Would probably buy again but maybe one with a glass carafe.

Is a small easy to use coffeemaker, but it spills coffee all the time.

I never tried the coffeemaker out... I opened the box and took one look at the coffee pot size and realized it would only really make about 1 1/2 cups of coffee. I decided my single cup coffee maker would make close to the same amount as filling the whole pot on this one. I returned it for that reason.

Love the stainless pot. I always broke the glass ones. It also looks great in my kitchen. I find it also keeps my coffee hotter.

I spoke with a Hamilton Beach representative while ordering this coffee maker and she assured me that the coffee maker came with some kind of cover to help lengthen the life of the warming plate. It did not come with any kind of warming plate cover. I returned this item and purchased a new coffee maker at Target. The Target coffee maker is the same type that I previously owned. I needed a new coffee maker because the warming plate on the old coffee maker completely deteriorated. A dime sized hole eventually developed in the warming plate and I was advised not to use the coffee maker by the manufacturer due to it's potentially dangerous condition. I'm only a Best Buy reward zone member and I'd prefer to stay that way. Thank you.

I was replacing another brand of coffee maker when I purchased this one. I like the stainless steel pot and find it pours smoothly and doesn't drip like my other pot. I wish the coffee basket was just a little taller as my filters sometimes get caught when I swing the basket back into place to brew coffee.

A nice fridge with plenty of storage space and well planned interior and exterior design. A quality product

It makes good coffee and we like the stainless steel carafe. We purchased it for use in our Class B camper van and the compact size really works there.

Only my wife drinks coffee in our 3-member household. This coffee maker was what she needs and works as expected.

This is not a review of the product, because I never got to enjoy it. When I opened my "new" coffee maker, I was rudely surprised with a dirty, coffee-stained used coffee maker that was previously purchased, used, poorly repackaged, resealed, then sold to me by Best Buy. When I tried to return it to the store, "Customer Service" was rude, uninterested, and unsympathetic. They said the reason the coffee pot was in that condition was probably because it was dropped in shipping?!?!?! What?!?!?! Instead of having them reorder another, I quickly requested my refund and spent my money at Target. Thanks for nothing and a big waste of my time and energy, Best Buy!

I guess 1 1/2 years of use are good enough...burned up a month ago. Liked the aluminum pot that's why I purchased it.

I have a small coffee bar and it perfect in size and capability.
