Best purchase I’ve ever done it saves me so much time on opening cans and less headaches dealing with hand held can openers that some times don’t work I would definitely buy this again when it breaks down, but I’ve had it for more than 3 yrs. And never had a problem . I get a lot of compliments on it from friends and family members. I highly recommend it, everyone should have one of these in their kitchen..

Bought it because I'm right handed and I broke my right wrist and hand. Have no one to open cans for me so tried this. Works great. Once you get the can on and press the lever down, (all fairly easy to do with one hand), it auto starts/opens. Can stays in place until you take it off which is also easy but you do need two hands as one to release the lever but I did it by holding the can with my left hand and pressing on the lever with my right elbow. The hardest thing was getting started as the lever is not yet attached and you do have to wash it before use. To get the lever on was difficult with one hand but I did it finally. Has instructions with pictures which you'll probably need a magnifying glass for. Looks good and doesn't take up too much counter or cupboard space. Also looks and feels like a quality product that should last. Hamilton Beach products tend to last, at least they did in the "good old days". I will expect they stay true to their reputation!

Great can opener. It's nice and tall. Easy cleanup with the quick removal of the handle and blade. The knife sharpener is handy as is the bottle opener. I hope it gives me years of service.

Works great. Opens cans quickly and smoothly. Nice that it has a bottle opener and knife sharpener. Comes apart for easy cleaning.

So I bought this for my wife. The first time she used it, I ran and tried to catch the can. I thought it was going to fall once the lid was cut all the way. But there is a magnet that holds it, I freaked out. She loves it though. Better than a manual. Comes with a knife sharpener built in and a bottle opener.

I was a bit unsure of this unit when I purchased it. The price was low and I thought it might be inferior but I was pleasantly surprised how great this opener is. Simple to use and when required, simple to clean. A/C wire folds away and the appliance is small enough to hide away in a cabinet.

It will hold the can while cutting it open for you. Like having an area in the back for storing the plug so it is not in the way in when in use. Have used the knife sharpener too

The Hamilton Beach is great to have. It has a bottle opener and in the back it has a place to sharpen your knife.

I love it! I like that it can hold tall cans and I love the knife sharpener on the back!

I do like this can opener although it sometimes makes a mess when the lid falls into the can and the liquid splashes out. It's quick and holds the can without dropping it. Holds taller cans too.

I love this can opener!!! I’ve used the opener to open different size of cans even a Viking cheese can! It took me two tries to get the hang of it. It’s really easy to use. I hold the can from the bottom and the can opener does the rest. So worth it! Such a good price too!

I love this can opener!!! After always had a manual one before this, it is SO easy to use and the metal keeps the top of the can so that it is easy to come off instead of cutting your fingers trying to pull it out. I bought one for a family member and for a friend's wedding gift as well!

I have always had trouble with electric can openers...until now. I'm so pleased with my purchase of this handy gadget as it is quite the little power horse. The can opener can even handle a large can 68 oz can of whole tomatoes without a hitch in it's giddy up!

This can opener works SO well! I really like how even after it finishes the job it keeps a hold of the can until you grab it (the can wont fall or make a mess once it finishes opening).

I don't use a lot of canned goods and never had an electric opener before this one. I am older now and it's easier for me. Really is doing well. It was a good price and does what it's supposed to.
