Reliable with GREAT features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Two weeks ago I had two irons. One I got from Aldi and it died in about six months. The other is a lightweight cheap Sunbeam that leaked regularly, did not hold a lot of water so I was constantly refilling and took forever when ironing my husband's pants that tends to gather very deep wrinkles. I knew I needed a heavyweight iron with more power. After some research I decided on this iron because it claimed to have all the features I was looking for: 1) Powerful - this thing has 1700W of power and can easily knock out deep wrinkles, 2) Retractable cord, 3) Anti-drip system - used for two weeks now and no drips, 4) Anti-stick soleplate, 5) Three way auto shut off - your house will not burn down because of this iron! 6) Holds a lot of water, 7) Light indicators to let you know when the iron is ready, 8) Multiple fabric settings each with its own individual color, 9) Vertical steam option - I haven't used this feature yet but plan to use it soon to get some wrinkles out of my shower curtain. Overall the iron looks great and performs great. I found this iron cheaper at Walmart so I asked Best Buy for a price adjustment which they honored right away. Customer service is excellent here!

This is so much more than I expected for the money

I bought a T-Fal for twice the money about 9 months ago and it has never worked well; it completely stained by cover. This iron has tackled everything from linen/cotton to cool silks and fine garments; steam and no-steam and done a perfect job everytime. I couldn't be more pleased.
