Customers are impressed with the FlexBrew 12-Cup Coffeemaker's coffee quality and ease of use, frequently praising its simple operation and delicious brews. Many appreciate the machine's affordability and the option to brew a single cup or a full pot. However, some users noted that the shared water reservoir can be inconvenient, and the brewing process can be noisy.

I had one of those coffee machines that uses disposable coffee pods. But when I saw one of these Hamilton Beach machines at my nephew's house, I had to have one of these instead. I love the fact that you can brew a whole carafe, or single-serve (by using either a Keurig-style coffee cup or a coffee pod). And though at first I thought it was a little bothersome to have to fill up the tank with each single serve cup, I believe now that it probably is better than having water sit in a reservoir (like in my old machine), sometimes for days before being used. I am very pleased with the temperature of the coffee also; I think it comes out much hotter than that other machine. It is a nice looking machine, too.

Many of the reviews mention a strong plastic smell. They are correct. I ran two full pots of clear water through first. This did not get rid of the odor which seems to come from the lid on the pot. It slowly went away but took about a week. The first few pots of coffee you could still notice the smell but it did completely go away. I have experienced this with other coffee makers in the past. The coffee brews hotter and faster than my old maker, I like this, but be sure to use a quality filter so it doesn't overflow and run grounds in to the pot. The Kcup has worked fine though it is not constructed as well as the Keurig but I only will use it occasionaly. If you were to use it several times a day every day it may wear out sooner than you would like, but only time will tell.

This coffee maker seems to work fine. We love the fact that we can brew a normal 10 cup pot of coffee, or buy the individual K cups and brew a single cup. Brewing time for 10 cups seems pretty quick, 5 to 7 minutes average, and the K cup single serve brews in about 1 to 2 minutes.

It comes with a mesh filter for both sides of the coffee maker and has some brew options. Very easy to use and the timer works perfectly. I haven't used the K-Cup side yet. I would bump if up to 5 stars if it were cheaper, however, it is cheaper than many other quality K-Cup brewers.

Only had it for two months but so far its what we were looking for. I like a cup of cappicino and sometimes have no time to wait for a pot to finish. Has a timer to set it up. Easy to operate. Your choice of using a paper filter or just the basket. Right now I would recommend it.

Good product, It is very slim I dont have much counter space so this is a smaller product than the Keurig makers. I love the dual option to make a pot or just one cup. I would recommend this product, I have no problems with the machine...

It is great that you don't have to pick one small cup or pot of coffee, you get both! Make sure to clean it before you make your first cup, it tastes weird at first, that's why I didn't give it 5 stars...my bad but great product so far!

I would of gave it a 5 but this is my second one in 6 months, the first one gave out, I will chalk it up to bad luck since we have always used this brand over the years, brews great and the k-cup option is nice also

This is a very nice alternative to the "other" competing machine that is now quite proprietary. You can do either carafe or single brewing and can set to start at anytime. I dropped 1 star as it is a tad noisy. Also it is a tad slow since the reservoir has to be filled every time you brew - so it has to heat the water "instantly".

This coffeemaker has worked wonderfully for the first month we have been using it. We are able to brew large pots of coffee, as well as single servings. The best part is the availability to use K-cups to brew coffee, tea, cider, and hot chocolate. All 4 of our children (age 7 through 17) use the K-cups to make various drinks and we have yet to have any problems. Great product!

I first saw it at my brothers house and he no complaints about it. I liked that you could brew a whole pot or just a K cup. waited to find it on sale. My only complaint was it took about 2 weeks to get all the plastic taste out of it. We ran vinegar and water thru it several times and it still took a while but it is great now. Love it!!

This is an amazing coffee maker! Not only does it make ground coffee (plus k cups) but it can be used to make hot chocolate, soup and so much more! What tops this incredible machine off is the temperature the water is set to; not too hot, not too cold but just right!

Bought this item a few weeks ago as I had given my son my brewer I had previously. Great choice. It was kind of tedious looking for brewer I could use with k cups and brew a pot of coffee. K cups have been rolling in and out of this brewer ever since. Even though I didn't like one cup at a time it works great. Love it.

My Kuerig recently fell victim to the broken solenoid issue (hey, what do you want for $250), so I was against buying another Keurig but had boxes and boxes of k-cups. I do like the one cup option and my other coffee maker was well past it's functional life (10 cups of water was making 6 cups of coffee). Found this model and read the reviews. True, the hotplate gets hot when only using the single cup option (pretty lousy design), but everything else works just fine. Only had it a month, but so far we love it. I will update this review if I experience any issues.

I love this coffee maker! I love that I can make a whole pot on the weekends or pods or ground coffee in small basket/ single serve daily. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this.....it was not difficult to set up like some said! I think it is easy to use and a great price!

I previously had two coffee makers out on the counter. A full pot for frequent quest and a Keurig for my self. I bought this in order to save space and have only one appliance out. The new look is great however I'm still trying to get used to the single server side. It doesn't operate as smooth as the Keurig I own. It's kind of messy and spits out water at the very end of the brew. Other than that it's a winner.
