Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I love this coffee maker. The description doesn't tell you but it comes with a mini reusable filter for the k cup side. Had a little bit of a plastic taste at first. I cleaned it per the directions and the taste is gone.

A+ Recommended
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. Easy to use. Has the options I wanted. The only things I don't like are 1) the 12-cup side doesn't include a mesh coffee filter as the single cup size does and 2) you can't program the single serve side to auto start as you can the 12-cup side. Other than that, I love it!

Good single or pot use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to replace my dead Bella coffee maker, I had researched coffee makers before purchasing and liked the idea of being able to make just 1 cup instead of a full pot. I decided on the FlexBrew due to price and matching both wants. I love it! Workes fine and I had no problems with K-cup use. The single cup adjustable stand was a bit confusing to use at first, but seems solid enough with a 12 oz. ceramic mug. It does take up a bit more counter space than 1 unit, but still less space than having 2. Would buy again.

Excellent purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for a coffee pot that would brew a full pot but also had adapter for smaller amounts. Found this at Best Buy that used K cups, and also had a small basket for using ground coffee. Extremely easy to operate using either the full pot,a cup, or travel mug. Unit takes up just a little more space than a regular coffee machine.

One more try because I love the features... but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the fact several people have noted a leak that occurs and I experienced it myself 13 months after the purchase of my last one, I opted for this model again because I really like the flexibility of the Carafe/Cup/Travel Mug modes and the timer is very convenient. Also the automatic cut off eliminates the possibility of forgetting the warmer is on. The only model that has all these features at a respectable price. So far so good on the new one though it seems to take a little longer. I'd recommend it if those are your likes but also recommend extending the warranty as a safeguard, as I did this time.

Excellent idea could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First the positives. I enjoy the ability to brew coffee three different ways, particularly the single cup choice of using either Keurig cups or my own coffee grounds. I like a strong cup of joe and the Keurig cups, although convenient, don't often provide me with the strength I desire which makes the grounds option so appealing. You can also make a larger cup with the grounds option as the Keurig cups are quite small in size. The controls are easy to use: simply turn the dial to the desired option and hit the "Brew" button. The visible water markers on the side is a bonus for measuring and one place to add water for all options is very convenient. All options do provide a great tasting cup of coffee. My main gripe is the heat factor. None of the three options provide a hot cup of coffee. It is really warm, but not hot, at least for me. Still drinkable though. Also, the hot plate under the pot heats up even when you are brewing a single cup. Lastly, there is a great reusable single cup filter included. Why not provide one for the pot as well?

Great coffee maker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.EAsy to use, easy to program, easy to flip between coffee pods, and making a pot of coffee. Decanter works great unlike the last coffee maker I had where I always had problem pouring coffee. This one has no such problems. Will recommend it to anyone looking for a new coffee maker. Great concept!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first one we purchased had a cracked pot, but once we got that switched out have had no problems. Love being able to use Keurig pods for individual or ground coffee for multiple pots, great idea!

Good Coffee Maker - Single Cup is Slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this coffeemaker for my office. It works great, but the single cup drips slow. Just when you think that the coffee is complete, you wait another minute or two for the last drops to come out. I am happy, but wish that it was a little faster on the brew.

great for cup or pot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great brewer for just one cup or a whole pot. It has two different sections and you dont need to buy those little kerig coffee things to make one cup. Just fill it with the same coffee you would use for a whole pot in the smaller port for your single cup.

Simple setup and fairly easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ability of making a cup, or a carafe is a huge plus for this unit. Simple setup for switching out from the Kcup to using your own coffee on the single serve side is great. All that's missing is onboard storage for the parts not in use so they don't get lost.

When it worked it was nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great idea having a flex-brew coffee maker - or so I thought, initially. Now, I'm thinking combining the carafe-style with the single-serve in one unit... probably more likelihood of problems. So, the first few days of use, both components worked well. I was surprised after a few days though that sometimes there was a rather loud amount of noise coming from the machine when I made a full pot. -don't know what was causing the noise. The coffee was still good. After about two weeks of use, the single-serve side only worked sometimes - only a little water came through - and the carafe side, too, would only have about half the water I put in come out in the carafe with the coffee - and that took quite a while. Where'd the rest of the water go? It appears it turned into steam. Well, the directions said to run a mix of vinegar and water through occasionally - which I knew about - but, really, after just two weeks of use? I did that and, surprisingly, both sides worked great again - for a couple days. Now I can't get the single-serve to work at all. Every time it gives an "Err" message and stops. The carafe side still works, but now I've stopped using it and plan to return this. I did call Hamilton-Beach to see if they had any suggestions about how to get the single-serve side working again, but after 20 minutes waiting on the phone for someone to talk to, I got transferred and immediately got disconnected.

Does the job well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like my coffee maker a lot. I can use paper filter to make just a cup for me, or a whole carafe for the family. We have used it daily, and from time to time still get the plastic taste from the water reservoir. But overall it is a great coffee maker.

Great Coffee Maker for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a coffee maker that brewed both a full pot (not just 4 cups) and a single cup. The Hamilton Beach flex brew fit the bill. The price was 1/2 of that of another brand that I was looking at and it works perfectly. I couldn't be happier! It takes about 10 minutes for a full pot on the normal setting, a little longer if you want a stronger brew. The option of using your own grounds or a K cup is just perfect. Would highly recommend!

Great coffee maker with options
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a single serve coffee maker but missed being able to brew a pot of coffee; didn't want to have both machines so I was glad I found this. It works great, I can brew a single cup using Kcups or ground coffee or brew a pot. Just remember it will brew the amount of water you put in the reservoir, so you can't put extra water in there thinking it will only brew a cup (which I did the first time). But that also gives you control on how much you want to brew.
