I bought this for my older parents and they LOVE it. They keep on promising me that they will read the user's manual someday, which obviously means that they're able to use it (effectively!) WITHOUT having read the manual! As multi-functional as this product is, it is also easy to understand and easy to use with hardly any experience necessary. I highly recommend this coffeemaker.

My wife and I love coffee. I use the one cup for when I leave early in the morning. My wife like the pot for all day coffee. We use cups and ground coffee and both work just fine. So far so good.

Great product. Make sure you clean it by running it a few times and the cleaning it with white vinegar and then run it a few more times. Love the versatility of this coffee maker and ease of use.

After considering one other option, the Flex brew offered the best option at the price. This unit provided a timer setting for a full Pot of coffee. During the week as family departure times differ by more than 2 hours the single serve option allowed for fresh coffee to be made for each person without coffee getting cold. On line YouTube videos were helpful in the decision. I have not experienced any issues with this product. Other users reported issues but to date I have been extremely satisfied with this product. I would recommend this product. One suggestion would be to add the timer option to the single serve side as is already present on the full pot side.

I work a flexible schedule, so it's nice to have a coffee maker that does too! I can make a pot to brew at 4am automatically or I can brew that perfect cup of special coffee at 4 pm! it's easy to use and clean, no tamping no mess. plus the single brew side is big enough to put an extra measure of grind to make that perfect single cup!

I really like this item. It's extremely convenient to use on days you don't feel like brewing a whole pot of coffee. My only complaint is that I don't think I've brewed enough K-cups yet because the few cups I've made tasted like straight coffee grinds. I'm sure it'll work itself out.

Its great to have the ability to do single pod, own ground and multi cup pot all in one. i wish the single serve was a bit taller to fit bigger cups but beside that, great product.

I used to use a Keurig Elite to make coffee with K-cups and a Kitchen Aide Pro when I needed a pot. Each are about the same size as the Hamilton Beach - FlexBrew. My wife & I both enjoy strong coffee and we are very pleased with the taste of our coffee from either side of the FlexBrew. I have read many of the on line reviews from people who complain about having problems with the amount of water they put into the machine but I have never had any problem with my machine functioning correctly. I set the option for the pot side to brew strong and I use dark roast K-cup coffee and I am always satisfied. When making K-cup coffee you should put as much water in the coffee cup you want to drink and then add that water into the water reservoir.
One minor complaint is that often it is difficult to remove a used K-cup. But there is also a significant improvement in the FlexBrew over the Keurig machine. My Keurig would stop working every other month of daily use, requiring me to clean the tube that punctured the bottom of the K-cup. And to empty and then prime the water reservoir/water pump. The FlexBrew uses a completely different method of opening the bottom and it never clogs nor does it need to be emptied or primed.

doing some research i found some units were good and some were defective its the luck of the draw i lucked out and got a good unit. features are easy to use and you can choose between a whole pot or just a single cup made with a k cup or your own grounds.

Easy to program, works as expected. Slight problem with "locking" of single serve position, small clip to hold in place snap off about 2 weeks after buying it. Attention to position allows it to still work. May order a replacement part & ease up on pressure used to lock it in place. Great tasting coffee on single serve *& keeps a pot warm for morning while getting ready for work.

While the standard coffee maker portion is straightforward, using k-cups needs for you to have an empty water tank, so that you would fill your glass or mug with the desired amount of water, pour that into the empty tank (putting more water than your cup can hold will overflow, and too much water in the tank will beep and ask to be emptied) and have it switched to the k-cup position and then turned on. If you don't mind the bit with the water level you should be fine

Does its job but you can only put the exact amount of water you'll be drinking if using a k cup which sucks when you're trying to brew more than one cup.

If you have a Keurig and a regular coffee maker this is a great way to replace those two big appliances with a single compact unit. The price is right too.

I bought this instead of a keurigg brand because it has both single serve and multiserve. You can choose either to use coffee grounds or the kcups.

Work great with filter part but with k-cup, water tends to disintegrate and doesn't pour out the entire cup. Not sure why but all in all it's great.
