This was a gift for my fiancée who had mentioned she wanted a slow cooker. I saw a good deal for this one at Best Buy ($49.99) and decided to pick it up. My only hesitation was the fact that the slow cooker was a 6 quart one which I thought would be a bit too big for two people. Turns out my fiancée loves it and has made a number of great meals in it. It cooks well and evenly. It's fun for her to use and get creative with dinner and the fact that she can set it before work and we can come home to a great dinner is fantastic.

I really love this cooker. Good size and I love the attachable meat thermometer.

Love this. Super convenient to have a timer and can shut off when timed.

My wife and I purchased this item for it's cooking capacity. We also like it's programmable cook timer. Although it met our expectations in the aforementioned areas, it appears to be cheaply built. The film covering the digital timer is a bit disappointing in appearance. I'm not sure how long it will hold up, but then again, I guess that's what you can expect from a crockpot in this price range.

This is a large volume slow cooker that is easy to clean.

I don't really understand Crock Pots that cost more than $60. This one does everything you could want it to do and has an air tight lid and includes a temperature probe that makes setting your cook time simple. Highly recommended.

I love this slow cooker being able to set it and forget it is wonderful.

This is the 2nd Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker I've had in this model. The 1st went out within a couple of years so I bought a different, more expensive, popular brand to replace it. I didn't like it near as much as the Hamilton Beach so I'm going to give it another try. I think the sealing lid is what makes the HB slow cooker better than most. The replacement I bought had a lid that just sat on top. It didn't seal in the heat, so it took forever for my roasts to cook and they weren't near as tender as they were when I cooked them in the HB slow cooker. It's extremely easy to program as it has 3 different programming modes to choose from. So...fingers crossed that this unit will last longer than 2-3 years this 2nd time around!

I love the size and the price was amazing for the brand and quality.
