Originally did not want a black toaster, but now I'm glad I chose this one. It toast really well and never seems to get dirty. Crumbs easily removed.

The toaster is just what I wanted. The defrost and bagel options work perfectly. There's no sudden ejection, so the lever must be raises to make the toast accessible, but that is not a problem. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Looks nice, toasts great, is easy to clean and was a good price.

It's a toaster and there's nothing much it does besides toasting the toast and the occasional bagel. Seems to handle both jobs well and the removable crumb tray is a nice touch.

I like the way the toaster looks. I have other Hamilton Beach appliances that I love. This toaster was shipped be caused the store didn't have it for me to pick up. I don't know if if was because it was shipped that the toast has to be helped down in the slots when toasting, but it does every time. The toast comes up and out well but I don't like that I have to manually help the toast down.

This was a very needed item in our house. It was very affordable and was shipped and received a whole lot quicker than I thought.

Easy to use, basic toaster at a good price. Big enough for bagels, with a special setting to toast on one-side-only.

Take a piece of bread put it in the slot, push down the lever and the wires get hot, i get toast. turn to the dark or light and then, if it pops too soon press down again. Yeah toast.

For the cost, this is an awesome toaster. I haven't tried the "Bagel" feature yet, but I can see where it will be a useful feature next time I want to heat a bagel.

we needed a smaller toaster but yet big enough for home made bread, it works good and its smaller then our other toaster and works and looks great !!!!!

I am very pleased. The toast comes out very evenly toasted. Controls (bagel, cancel, defrost) work well and are handy. Accepts thick slices. Value seems great for the price paid.

This is the best toaster at this price. Goes well with the rest of big and small appliances in the kitchen.

This toaster worked well for the first couple of days. However, it now only toasts on one side. Pretty dissapointed.

I don't usually write product reviews, but I just had to make an exception to forewarn shoppers of this particular model. I received this toaster because a bagel toaster was on my gift wish list. If I could, I'd return it. Though the slots are wide, their length are slightly shorter than my old toaster. Oval slices, such as rye bread, get stuck going in and out. Sometimes when the toast is done, I need to lift the lever to expose it enough to grab. (By design, the level only returns up 3/4 of the way.) Gone are the days when a toaster would shoot the toast into the air. The crumb tray is barely functional because most crumbs don't make it down that far. But the absolute worst feature of this toaster is that the heating elements are concealed behind a second panel of whatever type of heat resistant material is also used for mounting the elements. I've never before seen a toaster with this self-defeating design. The radiant heat is intentionally BLOCKED by the panel ! Hamilton Beach touts this as a safety feature, but it's at the expense of wasted energy and longer toasting time. Buy a different model and heed your mother's warning: Don't fish the toast out with a metal utensil.

I love the sleek look of this toaster. This is my main reason for the purchase. However, it is also a great machine. So easy to use, and the different settings it offers come in handy for our toasting needs. I also like that it does not take up much room on the counter top, which is always a plus.

I am very much pleased with this product. It makes my morning a little easy. It toasts the bread perfectly.
