I love this can opener! My hands were hurting using old hand crank openers. The hand openers didn't function very well. They kept running off the edge of the cans and I had to restart them several times. This electric opener works the first time every time and Fast. It cuts on the side of the can and then the lid just lifts off and you don't cut yourself on the lid or the can. It is a joy to use.

The Hamilton beach smooth touch is quite, and works fantastic. It removes the entire top of the cans leaving no sharp edge and is a clean opening. I was tired of the hand can openers and how they always leave sharp edges. Buy this and you will be satisfied

This Hamilton Beach can opener works easily and quietly on all can types leaving a smooth edge on the lid and can for safety. My original plan was to store it after use but its color and look fit with my kitchen decor so it's always on the counter ready to go.

Love this opener! Amazing on how it opens cans without leaving any sharp edges. The top just pops off with little effort. Even pop off tops with no sharp edges exposed. Can pop the top back on too! Very well made and fits on the sink easily. Highly recommend it.

We like this opener a lot ... it removes the entire lid and top rim of the can very smoothly so u won't cut yourself. And u can buy plastic caps to fit on the cans and save it in the fridge. Quiet, smooth, easy to use, very stable. Worth the extra that it costs

Every can opener I have ever bought in my life is a piece of junk that is awkward to use and never opens the can without problems. I have hated 100% of all the can openers I have bought in my life but THIS is the last can opener I will ever have to buy. PROS: opens the can without issues every time. It's very easy to get the can started because it is sturdy and well-built. CONS: Very loud. But who cares? How long is this going to take...5-10 seconds? Not a looker. Would you rather have a man that is good-looking but doesn't work or a man that's a little ugly but works and gets the job done? This is your guy.

Outstanding can opener! Love that it opens on the edge just below the top. Works perfectly every time. No spills. No sharp. edges. Top lifts off easily. Best can opener I've ever owned. Would definitely recommend!

This is undoubtably the best electric can opener ever made. It cuts the lid along the side of the can under the beaded lip. It does a perfect job,it is quiet, and does not leave any metal shavings. It will also cut the lids that have pull ring tabs. This saves your fingers.

Just used this for the first time and found it did an excellent job. I especially appreciate that it didn't make a sharp edge on the can that could cause a cut. Quiet operation and attractive design.

Finally found an electric can opener that works. I had one for years and when it died I had a hard time finding one that worked as good. I even switched to a manual for awhile. This one is even better then my original because it not only does what it's supposed to it leaves no sharp edges.
