Not sure why they show a bagel in it other then to show it has a wide slot. It does not have a bagel setting or a broiler setting, so both side of bagel get toasted. Does toast just fine. Oven is big enough for about 2 pieces of bread, so is slot. Tried baking a cheese sandwich. Didn't turn out to well. Probably too much butter. Can't think of what else to use the oven for except for reheating pizza. Mainly got it for my mother to use as she has toast in the morning, so needed something that would be easy enough for her to figure out, since it was her Christmas gift. After a couple of tries she's got it.

Definitely impressed with ease of operation and aesthetic design. It fit nicely in my all stainless kitchen and the splash of red accent worked well. Craftsmanship was all that I expected for a midrange priced toaster oven. Definitely a good value!

Great concept for saving space. Toasts great and while oven is small, fits 2 slices pizza or 4 baked potatoes. Great purchase

Toasts nicely - Toaster Oven part is great for making open faced cheese and ham items or a pizza slice - Love the alert sound when toast pops up which was a pleasant surprise .

Pretty good product. Does a great job on toast and the oven does a pizza reheat very well. But not a full size toaster oven. I bought it to replace my standard size toaster oven when moving to a much smaller kitchen. Takes up little counter space. BUT the oven aspect is pretty small. one large slice of pizza at a time.

It works really fast in heating up food and with its small size its very good for space and you get 2 for 1 with the toaster and the oven

I have been using this toaster for about 2 years on almost a daily and it works pretty good. The toaster and the oven part are separate. I really like that. The slots in the top even hold bagels. Overall good unit for the money.

Saves counter space - works perfect. Just know it's a little on the small size but everyone in the family uses and likes it!

So far it's working great except sometimes bread comes out toasted ok and sometimes a little under toasted were I have to do it twice! Then it's to toasted. I figured it out that it has to be a bit before number 3 to be ok but even then it does that! I've only used the oven once and it burned a little the bread my mom was making. Maybe it was to high I'm assuming

My girl friend got one of these little toasters and when I saw it, I just had to have one. I love the size of this unit and I love how you can do big toast with it, I use this to heat up everything! This is great for my husband and I, heats uo 2 pieces of pizza in about 3 mins, just love it !!!!!

Takes up very little space on the counter just wish it had a timer

My boyfriend and I were looking for a compromise... he wanted a simple toaster and i wanted the toaster oven... as soon as i seen this... we were sold!

Nice compact unit. Toaster part could be a little deeper. Overall pretty please with unit.

Love having the toaster oven and regular toaster available in one appliance. Out last one finally died, and we were so glad to find another one available. Great appliance!

We're gald we bought this, even though the oven has limited space. It is not for people who want this to substitute for a regular oven. The toasting function is the best and the crumb tray is at the bottom and rermovable so it's easy to keep clean. If toasting is what you really want, with occasional warming of small things in the oven, this may be for you.

Nice and compact. Works great. Toaster beeps quite loudly, but works great.

This toaster + oven is a great way to save valuable counter space, and it looks great.

We've been using this for a month or so. The toasting is a little weak compared to other Hamilton Beach toasters that we've had. Even on the highest setting, I sometimes have to run another 1/2 cycle. But it makes up for it by being a combo appliance as I find myself using the oven mode more than I anticipated.

Needed to free up counter space, so I combined the toaster and toaster oven. Not as nice as my previous cuisinart appliances, but certainly accomplished my goal of saving space.
