The oven part cooks the outside of food fast and inside of food is still cold and not cooks. If you set for longer the food would be burnt and still cold inside. Set oven for lower temp for longer kinda defeats the purpose. Might as well use reg oven and save space.

However, once received, it was evident that the tray in the oven is too samll for practical usage. Returned the item to the store. May purchase the 4 slice model, however, it does not come in Red, so???

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We LOVE this mini toaster oven, in ten years, it has performed well. One HAZZARD it's missing a Timer!! Do not buy unless you stand allert and turn off when done. If you can't be alert, do not buy or you'll have a fire. However, it is excellent, small in size for countertop use, pizza warmup, thick bread inside drawer area, toasting seeds, nuts, grilled cheese...small items. Bought a 2nd one the last time it was on sale. But, you MUST commit to standing at toaster/oven at all times, it cannot shut off by itself and will burn your food, but I love it otherwise. If you use foil, the dull side MUST be used or may overheat oven.

I wanted something that won't take up much counter space while giving me versatility. It does exactly that. However, I wish the toaster oven part was larger. I don't see how you can get more than one slice of an average size of pizza or more than one personal pizzas as the description indicates. This is nice for a dorm room or a small apartment for one or two people. It's also a little pricey. ($36.99) Fortunately, I used Reward Zone coupons-and caught it on sale. It's still nicer than the one that I replaced it with.
