Hannibal is a great spin on known tale but early season one fall into "Killer of the Week" trap. The creators tried to one up each murder losing authenticity but once story settled in the show shows something special.

I liked the premise of the show & the acting was great.........i just felt season 1 moved slowly, maybe it picks up in season 2 & 3

Amazing show, great season and big disappointment it was canceled early

This is one of the best shows on TV. Great cast & writing. The special effects are the best there is. This is not a series for children. This is NOT a family show. It is for adults period. I have heard lame parents complain that the series is not family friendly... DUH!!!! It is Hannibal! It is not a show about rainbows and unicorns. This is strictly adult TV. Intelligent, well developed stories and characters. It is a series that knows what it is and exceeds audience members expectations. If you like shiny vampire TV this also may not be for you, because the characters aren't bed hopping blood suckers. Hannibal's characters are actually interesting and they actually have depth.

I highly recommend Hannibal for those looking for a visual feast. Unlike other crime shows that love to show gratuitous violence for the sake of it, this series is produced in a way that can crawl under your skin and into your subconscious, from the crime scenes to the meals that the eponymous character concocts in every episode.

I don't watch much TV, I will admit, but this is the best TV I've seen in years. Perfectly acted and enough suspense, mixed with gore and twists in the story to keep you watching. I watched almost half the season with my wife in one sitting til about 2am! Great show. Can't wait for this summer and season 3!

Once again, Bryan Fuller has created a series that is (sadly) under-appreciated. Everything about Hannibal, from the music to the cinematography is beautiful. I hope that more people will tune in for season 2 and keep this show going.

For those who are fans of the Hannibal series, you will not be let down by watching this amazing series. The directing, the acting, and the story is flawlessly amazing. Strangely, you will find yourself rooting for Hannibal!
