I had expressed minimal interest in this show at first, and admit I only bought the seasons because of an actor I enjoy who appears sporadically throughout the series. But once I started I couldn't stop watching. I watched 2 seasons over the course of a week. Definitely grabs your interest and makes you want more.

Hannibal is one of the most under appreciated dramas to come around in a long time. I'm amazed it lasted three seasons on a network station. It has the themes, atmosphere, and violence you typically see in an AMC series. Anyone who is into psychological thrillers or a fan of the Hannibal films this is a must!

Hannibal is a fantastic TV show, Mads Mikkelsen plays a fantastic Hannibal Lecter. He as the perfect blend of charm and creepiness. The show is beautifully shot and the acting is great. There are some disturbing images in this show, sort of feels like it should be on HBO or something. Overall I say give it a try.

I really have enjoyed this show so far from an approach of expecting Criminal Minds with a bigger name attached but it has far outperformed in acting ability and depth of the protagonists. I would say that mid season things became a little more predictable and felt a little heavy handed in their obvious overtones but with a large audience sometimes you do have to cater to the lowest denominator. I would say approach it with high but tempered expectations and prepare yourself for the upcoming season.

So far all worked out well, there was no delay (arriving on time while season 2 I ordered arrived earlier then expected) and I'm very ecstatic about my purchase(s) and so far had no qualms nor issues with the DVD discs. So now my collections of TV series will rise. Thanks to Best Buy.

This is a must have work of art and intrigue. Can't believe there are only 3 seasons. The killers in this series are artist as well as insane lunatics. Hannibal himself is a fantastic maestro of the macabre.

This was easily one of the most creative, well written and highly styled horror drama done on either TV or film. If you like darker, more intelligent horror or are just a fan of the original Hannibal books give this a shot. It's too bad it only lasted three seasons.

Great purchase. I would recommend it highly for any Hannibal fan. If you haven't seen the series- take a chance on it! The acting is amazing from Mads to Dancy to Lawrence. The visuals are second to none- artfully shot with a fantastic story and deep character development. Bon appetit!

I am now hooked on this series! It is so much more than I was expecting! I don't want to give anything away, I would definitely recommend watching this series! It is full of suspense and plot twists, I end up binge watching it! Highly recommend!

I kept hearing great things and finally I bought the first season. It was great! The psychology is fascinating and I can't believe this was a network tv show. It is very gruesome! It's a fun ride. I'm about to start watching season 3 as I write this.

This is one of the best "horror" shows on TV today. If you like the Hannibal Lector movies you MUST check out this series! It does an excellent job telling the back story of the movies, and it is well acted. Go watch it, or better yet go out and buy it.

Sadly, Hannibal has short seasons. That's the only negative I can even find with this show. The casting is brilliant and it's such a darkly quirky show that goes from procedural crime drama to something quite different. Well worth it. Check it out!

Just when you thought the Hannibal lecter well had been tapped out, prequels,sequels, remakes. Mads breathes new life into a role made famous by Anthony Hopkins, and Brian Cox before him. Too bad this series was too short lived.

This is a great buy for any fan of the Hannibal character or good television in general. It's definitely worth it to get the blu ray over the dvd as this show was meant to be watched in HD. Not for the faint of heart! Very graphic/gorey show!

This is something I bought for my aspiring film-making son in high school. He loves it and says it is now his favorite network show. I offered to let him buy the season 2 episodes on Amazon Prime but he insists on waiting for the Blu-Ray.

I was very disappointed when Hannibal ended after 3 seasons but at least I can watch those seasons again at my leisure. This was one of my favorite shows of all time. If you loved it too then you need to own this !

Very moody. Make no mistake, Mads Mikkelsen portrays a captivating Hannibal Lecter but without Hugh Dancy's unbalanced, yet sympathetic Will Graham, this would be a depressing and very unrelenting series. Very well acted. What's most disturbing, besides the scripts, is actually one of the highlights of the show - the cinematography. If you like Criminal Minds, you might consider this.

stunning visuals and audio, look at the detail in the clothes that hannibal wears, also the stunning video of the food presented in the show, i wish that there were more audio commentaries, what is there is terrifice

If I could only use one word it would be "beautiful". The production design, the camera work, the lighting, the color-tone, the writing, the acting; absolutely everything about this show is sublimely beautiful.

You won't be disappointed. Great writing, beautiful cinematography -- bought it on sale and because the complete series box set I was waiting on probably won't be released for quite some time.
