Absolutely love this gem of a speaker. Love it so much I've bought two for myself, you can pair two from one iPhone, and one for my daughter. I've also bought a form fitting hard case designed specifically for this speaker to take on the go. I tried several speakers including the small Bose and the Mini absolutely has the best sound. clear highs and full mids with good bass. I also own the large Onyx and the mini almost sounds as good as the big brother without the booming bass. The Mini will definitely fill a room with great sound. You will be amazed! I was.

This was my first Bluetooth speaker purchase so I didn't know what to expect. I am impressed with sound, looks, and quality of build, plus I caught it on sale. I always heard that Harman/Kardon was high end and this speaker is. Sounds clear and has just enough bass. I listen to hip hop, blues, and gospel and they all sound terrific playing through my speaker. Would definitely recommend.

I really love my new Harman/kardon onyx mini portable wireless speaker. The sound quality is really amazing it most definitely gets the job done for me. I really like the fact that it holds a charge for a very long period of time. I purchased several of these Harman/kardon for gifts during the holiday.

The sound quality is amazing for its size. Does take eight hours to charge for the first charge out of the box, but for about 10 hours of playtime it is worth it. Like that it has a power indicator on the top so you know if you are about out of battery power.

Clean, clear and robust sound with a bass that fills a room of moderate size. By far, a Best Buy for the price!

Everything about the Onyx Mini was just perfect - the sound, the size, the bass, the build and the connectivity. Except the lack of portability (it doesn't fit in my pocket & harman kardon hasn't provided any carrying case), there's nothing to complain about this small wonder. Get this below $99 and you'll never regret

Love the sound of it! Good quality and surprisingly great bass for a small stereo. BT works great. You can talk and listen to your phone calls through the speaker which is a great feature! I got mine for 50$ which was well worth it!

As long as it packs a loud and powerful punch, I'd recommend it to anyone. This speaker (for the size it is) packs a wallop. Has a decent battery life also but is best if plugged up for continuous playback.

Sound / build quality and battery life are very good. I got the grey color and it matches my desk.

I bought this speaker with a gift card I got from family for general use with doing chores around the house, and helping concentrate on homework with some music in the background. I recommend this speaker to everyone it’s great quality with Bluetooth technology as well and is very loud if you want it to be!

After my brother in law raved about this speaker so much I thought I'd give it a try. I was so impressed by the clarity and quality of such a little speaker. It is very loud too!

I have to agree; this HK speaker gets high marks on all categories. It's small but has relatively good highs and lows. The music fills our room though is barley noticeable on the shelf. It paired immediately and had enough power on its initial charge to last several hours right out of the box. The same price (less than $43) was simply too irresistible...so I bought two. We have them paired with echos in separate rooms. Great speakers, esp for the price paid.

Easily one of the best small Bluetooth speakers out there. Sound is very clean and doesn't sound stressed or distorted like most small speakers. Set this next to a wall to get a bit more bass. Dual Sound is a nice feature and connects to my Onyx Studio 3 nicely. Can have three devices connected to it. Like the Studio, it may not have as much utility as some other speakers out there, but sound quality for money is hard to beat, provided you don't pay the bloated retail price.

I happened to be driving past Best Buy and figured I would stop in to see if they had a set of speakers that would fit my needs and budget. Boy was I lucky to find these on sale. These little guys pack a punch and don't disappoint. They're Harmon Kardon, so you know they're good. The audio is loud, clear and the speakers give you the option to use the aux input or connect via Bluetooth. You can actually pair them to use for stereo sound which is awesome. The only draw back is when you use the Bluetooth function if connected to a home theater as there is a delay. The audio doesn't match the video. However, they work great if you're just listening to music. If you want to use them for your home theater (I have them as a left and right channel via an aux splitter), use the aux inputs and you won't have any issues. Best Buy was running a sale when I purchased them. They were originally $200 each, but were on sale for $50 each. Plus, when I got to checkout, they gave me an additional 30% off for buying 2. What?!? So, I just purchased 2 quality speakers for $70 when they normally retail for $400 a pair! Even if Best Buy doesn't offer the add'l 30% off for buying a pair, they're an absolute steal at $50 each. Buy a pair before they're gone!

Harman/kardon - Onyx mini exceeded all my expectations. It is smaller than I imagined, but this bluetooth speaker puts out big music sound. In keeping with Harman Kardon sound this bluetooth speaker is very clean and crisp in the sound it emits and can get quite loud in relation to its size. The bass is tight and not boomy with the nice separation of the lows where bass guitar notes are clear as well as the bass drum in music. The bass is definitely there and can be felt, but not overpowering and boomy like my JBL Charge 2+( which I like quite a bit as well). I would say the frequency response is more on the flat side and not boosted on the lows or highs, just a clean crisp all around great small speaker. Oh, and it pairs perfectly with an Amazon Echo Dot. If you plug the speaker in (it uses a standard micro-USB connector, and comes with the appropriate USB cord and wall unit charger), it will remain on and ready to talk to you Echo--no time-outs. At higher volumes, you can easily fill a room with sound. And, as I mentioned, you can push the speaker up to full volume and it's still pleasant to listen to, which is the exception, not the rule, with portable bluetooth speakers.

I am an audio fanatic. I did a lot of research on which Mini wireless speaker to buy. I listened to all the samples at the store and I thought this speaker sounded very similar to the Bose Soundlink ($130). I also thought the Sony XB20 sounded similar but the Sony had more bass. The Onyx is a well balanced sound, great mid's and high's and low's are decent, good for its size though. I bought the Onyx Mini when it was only $50 on a deal of the day and i couldn't be happier. My regret is i didn't buy a second pair so i could pair the speakers. The charge holds for a long time and the sound quality sounds great. To improve the sound quality of the speaker don't forget to adjust your audio device Equalizer, it will make a world of difference. I would totally purchase this product under $100. I feel like this speaker is designed more for indoor or well protected outdoor use. The one complaint that i have, which very minimal is carrying the speaker because of the rear driver. I feel like you have to grip it weird without pushing on the driver. Other then that it is great. would recommend.
