So good I bought two! Read reviews. Solid bass that can be augmented by equalizer. On highest volume, not ear shattering or "punch" via Bluetooth but great with two. A STEAL for an open-box / discount price. Got the 3s which has shorter battery life. No biggie as I'll just plug them in if needed. Great deal for some $300 off!

OMG! The bass on this speaker is so rich and the sound is so clear. We think it's just greatl. I have a really nice small JBL portable blue tooth speaker that we take camping. But this baby (the diameter of a frisbee) fills our living room and kitchen with rich full sound. So happy with it and to get such a deal on sale!

The Onyx Studio 3 portable speaker is large, loud, and expensive. Unless its on sale... then it's great all the way around. It delivers surprisingly strong clear accurate sound and bass for the power used (7.5 watts on battery, 15 watts on ac current). If the music source has strong bass, the speaker will play strong bass. The battery lasts up to 5 hours as advertised. The controls are simple and easy to use. It can be connected by bluetooth or aux input. It has a built in carry handle. Looks unique, feels sturdy. Perfect for watching movies on my 10" tablet at bedside, or playing rock on my phone at the riverside. I'm glad I bought it, even though my son makes fun of its size.

This speaker has great sound. I notice a difference with this compared to our cheaper one. It’s expensive but worth it! Portable looks sleek in the kitchen and has a pleasant sound to notify u when it turns on and off. The on and off buttons are actual buttons so that’s a refreshing change.

My CoWorker has an older model and it sounded great so I did a little research and ended up buying one. Sound is rich and full with plenty of volume. And when the speaker is plugged into the wall the sound gets even louder!!! Great buy for the price.

I took this to our in-laws Xmas party and it was a hit. Good bass, mids, and highs. I found that if you put it close to a wall on the ground that it sounder louder. Bluetooth connects real easily. There's an auxiliary port to go wired. I bought the original onyx and didn't like that one because after 10-15 minutes of play time, at a bearable loud volume, it would shut off on it's on. The onyx 3 does not do that. I haven't been able to try it out, but maybe eventually, is that you can hook up 2 onyxs and have more of a stereo sound. In conclusion, I am very happy with this purchase.

I really enjoy using this speaker all over my home. It plays music so clear and with a lot of bass. I now use it instead of a speaker I was using previously. The price was perfect because it was on sale. Great purchase

Great quality speaker. Spent over an hour in the store comparing options and reviewing spec with store specialist. This is the best speaker on the market by far. Love the sound and portability. Just what I needed.

More than satisfied with the Studio 3. The sound is clear and powerful. For those who say there's not enough bass: go into the settings for your player and adjust the EQ. This speaker puts out a ton of bass.

The sound is great for small to medium large rooms in my house. Have connected it to my laptop and desktop, as well as my phone and iPad. The only reason it doesn't receive a five star rating is that it will sometimes randomly go to sleep while it is connected, wirelessly, connected to my computer. The bass is not be underestimated on this speaker. Overall I dig it.

Did plenty of research on Bluetooth speakers for my son. I looked at Bose and others. I narrowed my search to this unit - especially at the amazing pre-Christmas price we ended up getting. Still, while I was at Best Buy, I asked three different associates for their feedback / thoughts. All three raved about the unit. They especially liked the deep bass generated by this relatively small unit. My son wholeheartedly agrees! Easy to use. Portable. Great sound. Cool design. This one is a winner!!!

I chose this speaker purely for sound quality. It sounds better than any of the speakers I found in its price range and higher. Let's face it, you need tweeters and separate woofers to handle higher quality music. None of the Bose speakers I looked at had this. This speaker handles treble and midrange very well, but it also has a very impressive low end with the woofer for bass. I couldn't put a hifi setup in our kitchen, but this will definitely work well for the area. It won't compare to my setups for listening sessions, but it's great for what it is. For reference - my main setup consists of Luxman and high end vintage JBLs. Just so you know I'm a picky audiophile.

I purchased this speaker with an open box label because it was marked down drastically ( a quarter of its retail price) and I am so glad I did. first its a beautiful and complementing device very modern and classy, the setup is extremely easy and when the music starts playing OH MY GOD! the sound that comes out such a small device is unreal. the bass is phenomenal, mids, highs, lows are all balanced making it a wonderful listening experience.

This speaker produces crisp clear sound and enough bass to rattle the widows when you turn it up! I love it and it can be heard throughout my entire house while I’m cleaning!

I had an older version and saw this on sale for a great price. So, I got it and am very happy I did. I would even recommend at full price but it's a steal when on sale. It's unbelievable the sound that comes out of this compact speaker. I listen to it outside and have to keep the volume low or the whole neighborhood can hear it. I have owned and still own several Bluetooth speakers. This is the best by a large margin!

This is an awesome speaker! Would buy two more if i can catch it on sale again. I love bose products, but this speaker is awesome full clear sound and amazing bass!

I love everything about this speaker. The bass, the clarity and richness of sound, the volume, the size, the ease of pairing, etc. What's not to love? I am a speaker hound and I have quite a few bluetooth speakers. This is by far the best sounding for filling the room with great sound. Can turn it all the way up with no distortion. Got it on a deal of the day sale and couldn't be happier!

This is probably;by the best sounding speaker I’ve come across yet. Loud booming bass, with balanced highs and mids. Would defiantly recommend for a large room.

I bought this to have something for New Years! I wanted it to be loud and to feel like we were in a club. I really wasn't sure if it would carry, as the space was large - Boy was I happy! It is bluetooth and portable The sound was so so so crystal clear! I truly haven't heard anything this nice in a very long time. I immediately wanted to buy another one for my bedroom. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!

This thing bumps and fills my whole shop with even sound and a good amount of bass. If this thing ever dies on me I'll definitely buy another one.
