I use this with my TV, outside on the deck, and several other places. Best part is the SOUND (GREAT!) probably the BEST sounding Bluetooth portable speaker in it's class. I also like being able to connect to it via an AUX port if I wanted to. Easy to Pair with any Bluetooth Originating device. I have successfully used with ANDROID Phone / IPONE / IPAD and COMPUTER with BT Dongle--all worked with no problems.

I bought this as a gift for my dad. He loves it. I went over his house for a visit and he had music playing through the speakers, and OMG the sound was amazing

The Onyx Studio 3 Portable Bluetooth speaker provide awesome sound quality and good sound level. The best part about this speaker is definitely the sound quality 5/5. The sound level is good although a bit higher would be even better 4/5. The battery life is pretty good but not quite as good as some other Bluetooth speakers, about 3-5 hours... 4/5. I also love the sound the unit makes when turning it on.

Easy connection to our smartphone. I listen to Sirius and Pandora and this speaker has a fantastic sound. In the reviews I read, there was comments about short battery life. The batteries last about 5 hours before I have to recharge. I did call Harmon Kardon about the difficulty to replace the batteries. They suggested it be sent back to them. I assume that Best Buy can also replace them if needed

I paid $150 for the speaker and for that price there isn’t much out there to compete with it. Lasts for hours off the cord. Nice bass for a portable.

Have purchased several speakers in the past, this is best speaker by far, sound is awesome and I love that I can talk on the phone thru the speaker

Crisp sound mega bass!! I work in contruction so it works great in loud areas, wished it last longer battery wise but overall great! Also use on my smart tv as a sound bar via Bluetooth.

I liked the original version of this speaker when I heard it a few years ago in a store. With the recent price drop I couldn't pass it up. The speaker sounds as good as I remembered. The one concern I had was portability. I didn't plan to take it to the beach but I did want to carry it around the house. With the notch in the back it is very easy to carry and not all that heavy.

It's sounds amazing, beautiful design, very easy to use with any device.

This speaker reached all my expectations if your hesitating on buying it just go for it you won't regret it really loud and great mids and bass

i REALLY ENJOY LISTENING TO MUSIC ON MY HARMAN/KARDON SPEAKER. THE BASS IS SO LOUD AND DEEP, AND THE BATTERY STAYS CHARGED UP FOR A LONG TIME!

I had been watching this speaker for about one year to go on sale and around thanksgiving was discounted by $300, so picked it up for $150 which was a steal. Fills the room with rich sound. Only thing to note is it is not water resistant, so if you take outside make sure you bring back in. If you want to a top of the line indoor bluetooth speaker this will work great....

Great quality and great sound. If you can get it on sale even better. Tip: add rubber grips to the legs, this will help it stay in place and not fall off the table or drawer or where ever you have it. When it is played at a high volume the vibration causes it to move around and could fall. Secure it somehow. Don't get me wrong having good bass is not a con.

Great sound with clarity and bass. Does charge quickly and can go for over 5 hours on the battery. Easy to charge and to set up.

I already owned the Onyx 2, which I love and still use regularly. But I purchased the Onyx 3 for my father for his birthday and I was surprised to see how sleek it looks now. You can even pair the Onyx 3 with another to fill the home during festivities, something that the Onyx 2 did not feature. A great new addition to the Onyx harmon/kardon series.

I must admit I wasn't so impressed when I first played music through this speaker because the volume seemed too low. I was using YouTube on my phone to listen to the sound but it wasn't doing it any justice. I was ready to return the speaker to the store, but I decided to check it out with my iPod. Wow what a world of difference! This think is great. I still plan to look for an app that will increase the sound quality from my phone. Although i don't think my phone was the problem. I think it was YouTube.

This speaker has awesome sound. Great bass. Easily portable.
