Take a picture of the front card and that way if you buy another pack you won’t duplicate. They are the same underneath. Just wish they were half the price. But this game is terrific. Takes care of game and music. Also really tough to find in store. They don’t organize it well.

The Dropmix discovery packs add an additional 5 cards to mess around with. Pay attention to the art on the front of the pack as each pack contains unique cards. If you pick two with the same front art, you will end up with duplicates. If you like the game, I recommend picking up as many as you can as it adds to the replay ability.

I have become and avid follower and player of Dropmix from Harmonix. I unknowingly purchased all of the expansion sets that are available and could not be happier. I do suggest adding card protectors because these cards will get well used, have tried several that work with the game play.

These cards are for the DropMix game. You have to purchase the main board and starter deck (one purchase) first then you can buy these booster packs. We purchased about three of them. They are not random packs of cards. Each pack is a set so if the card on top shows one that you already have then don't get it again. Otherwise, it's been fun to have some extra beats/instruments for the kids to mess around with. Our 6 and 5 year olds are having a great time with it.

Even though you can't choose the actual cards you get inside. Finding out which ones you get once you open you the pack is part of the fun. I will try to get them all.

Very fun to mess around with, but as a "game" it just seems random. Most fun we have with it is letting my kids play around with it and toss cards on as they see fit. Why it's not 5 stars is it's really hard to remember which packs you have because they're not really labeled well. And then of course you have to buy MANY packs to get all the good songs or full songs.

This humble pack of cards is like a doorway to a enthralling and captivating music board game hybrid experience, its one of the coolest new games I've played in years.

This gives you a variety for music on your drop mix game

If you are reading this you probably already have DropMix or are thinking of buying, so I'll cut to the chase. Basically, these packs are NOT random. Thus, buying them random through online websites is asinine. Unless you have no other option or are willing to return duplicate copies of the same packs. Each pack has a Specific cover and the content for those packs are the same for all packs with the same cover. At the time of this review, there are 6 packs in 2 different series (labeled on the packs), with more series expected to be released. The nice thing about them not being random is that you can complete your music set by buying all the possible packs, not by random hunting. The bad thing is that it will get pricey to complete the songs you love. In addition this these, there are a few $15 larger packs that contain all the cards in a set. If you want to collect complete songs, you have to buy all cards across these booster series and the larger packs. Thus the reason for the 3 star review. Best buy and other retailers sell these $5 packs online at random when they shouldn't be random. Also, its a bit pricey to complete the sets.But the cards themselves are great additions to the base game and if you are looking to mix it up or add to your collection then they are worth a buy.

The four expansions — dapper, deer, hightower, puff — are spread across the twelve different Discover Packs in Series 1 and 2. If I remember correctly, to get a complete fifteen-card expansion, you have to get one of each of the twelve different Discover Packs (at which point you will have a complete set of each of the expansions). I enjoy having the four expansions and giving people the choice of what 15-card set they use. However, I can’t imagine using these cards without complete expansions. Buy these only if you can confirm that you can get all twelve Discovery Packs.

DropMix is so much fun, I’ll start by saying that. Adding booster packs of sorts brings a level of mystery and intrigue to it and I’m a self-professed sucker for stuff like that. Love the boosters, love the game.

One dollar per card/song is not bad. Be careful: packs are not randomized like other card games. The art in front determines what cards are inside. If you don't want duplicates, get packs with different art.

This is a great addition to Hasbro's DropMix. It gives more music to mix up, and it makes the game more fun overall. It is a great expansion!

This game is fun and the cards are great. Just pay attention to the artwork on the front. Each pack is the same for each front artwork. The cards are not randomly packed. It’s made or hard to remember which packs I have or not. It would be nice to more easily tell what each pack is. Otherwise the game is fun. Just these packs are frustrating.

Just bought the game & adding some extras just made sense. Worth a shot in the dark to see what extra cards we get.

I loved Dropmix from the start but adding new cards has made it more interesting. You get 60 cards in the game but I think it takes at least 100 cards to make for a variety of outcomes in the game that keeps the interest high. You can also get packs of fifteen that come with particular cards in them. I recommend the rock version.

Dropmix is a great game for music lovers, board game lovers, and those who love both genres. The addon packs are great for remixing the decks that came with the game, but if you get all five packs from each season you can double the starting decks. The more cards/decks the more enjoyable this game becomes.

not that many doubles i would have bought a full box to increase my chances to get a complete set

DropMix is SO FUN and these cards make it even more fun! The only problem is that the packs (which do not have random contents) are picked randomly, so if you are trying to get a complete set, good luck! But, again, the game is so fun; it's totally worth the hassle!
