I received this for Christmas and it will go great with my Geek collection. No plans on using it for COSPLAY or battling the forces of evil. It will go in a place of honor on my wall of cool. The quality is awesome, the handles are okay but I wouldn't use them to strap to my back and ride down the street on a motorcycle.

If you thought the iron man helmet looked good, this will blow you away. The paint job is amazing. The back of the shield looks as good as the front! Would be nice if it came with tools for an easy wall mount but for the price this is the best Cap shield out there. Totally worth it.

Paint job is well done, the faux leather straps gives it a good feel.

We collect movie memorabilia for our home theater and this is perfect. It'll look great on our wall! It's not actually metal, but you have to get pretty close to notice. The paint is perfect and has a smooth automotive-like finish. It would be great for cosplay, but I would be concerned how well the paint would hold up after being thrown in the car a few times.

I was looking for a simple prop. I was very surprise at the quality. While its plastic, the paint is convincing enough to make it look like metal. I paid under $70 I believe, and think it was worth the price.

I purchased this as a gift for my teenage nephew. He uses for wall art in his bedroom. The quality is very good. Made a great gift ... even for "big kids"!

Really cool collectable I would recommend the aluminum one but if it's not in your budget this is the next best thing really really cool
