Happy to say Best Buy came through and offered this wonderful figure. It's been 3D printed to make for accuracy but unlike it's predecessor that allowed for removable helmet this one was made to be as movie accurate as possible. Great find!! May the Force be with you!

The product packaging was in excellent condition. Looks really nice and love the fact that it is just like the 1977 one !!!!!!! but in 6 inch size, a must buy !!!

So happy I finally purchased this; and on sale! Superb sculpt of Darth Vader. (Only comes with Vader, no other figures are included despite what the description implies) Great articulation, cape feels really high end, the detail, even down to his saber is great. Overall I think it's an amazing figure and fans will love this item.

A lot of older collectors scoff at the 6" line of Star Wars figures. And though I agree with them on some parts (and still prefer the classic-sized figure), the 40th Anniversary collection of reproductions of the old Kenner card-backs are astonishingly cool! From someone who had the originals as a kid, this is a perfect collectors' item that reproduces the Early Bird pack from Christmas, 1977. It comes with an incredible Darth Vader figure (wow), and a display stand for the 12 original figures. They all fit the display, btw. The stand is a bit flimsy, and I found the price to be a tad high overall, but it's the nostalgic member-berries working their magic, releasing my childhood from its adult prison. This was indeed a fun spring/summer project collecting these figures, harking back to a time when my imagination still worked.

I was skeptic at first about the quality of this figure but after opening the box i was pleasntly surprised by the quality of not just the figure but the whole package. The stand, which i thought was going to just be made of cardboard, was the deciding factor on whether or not to return it or keep it for me. The pegs on the base of it were a nice touch and definitely make the collector in you want to just go out and buy the rest of the set. I have yet to open the gorgeous cardbacked Darth Vader figure for fear of destroying it. The throwback design and the placement of the Kenner logo make this a must have for anyone, even for those who weren't around when Kenner was around. The figure itself, I found out after some research, was designed from an entirely new sculpt and does not borrow any pieces or paint from the other Black Series Vader figures. If you're reluctant because of the price, don't be. I myself will eventually get another to open and display next to my unopened one. This will possibly be the best of the Black Series figures and it is the only one I personally own due to its quality.

The figure is well made and is soon to be a must buy in the new release in the up coming years.

A must have for collectors of the original vintage Star Wars figures!

My granddaughter loved it. She is infatuated with the movie character Darth Vadar. Someday this 40th Anniversary Edition may be valuable.

It's Darth Vader! Beautiful collectible for any Star Wars fan. Nice packaging, good quality, and an iconic character.

Dark vader is bad guy. He kill little kids and other people. He is also mean to friends. He has son and daughter but they don’t like their dad because he not nice. He has boyfriend with lightning come out of hand. He has a spaceship for a house but it got blew up. He made a new house but also blew up. He took off mask and was ugly so he die. Now he ghost with best friends yoda and ben.

My brother had the original cardboard backdrop back in the 70's. Was really cool to see and get for my Grandson. He is a big Star Wars fan so I know he will love it to.

First of all i've been collecting SW Collectibles on and off since i was a kid and have been highly interested in this latest 40 YR Celebration line of Black Series Figures. Just happened to stumble in Best Buy and to my surprise... I doubt that they'll keep stocking figures and this was probably just along with the Rogue One Bluray release but yeah, pretty stoked. Yo Best Buy KEEP STOCKING STAR WARS TOYS!!!

The Darth Vader figure is awesome. The stand itself is a bit flimsy and doesn't quite stand up straight.

This is quite possibly the best Episode 4 Darth Vader figure made. Excellent detail. The bigger draw for me was the 1977 12 back style cardboard backdrop. I still have a few of those cardboards from my original Figures. Love the design. Nostalgia to the max. Highly recommended.

Grandkids excited with toys will be buying additional toys at store for Christmas
