I love how easy it is to weight my son before and after nursing sessions. Drs always want to know how many ounces of milk my son gets and this Hatch scale does that accurately. My dr scale and this one is spot on for well child check ups with weight. I love this scale and it was worth the expense to make sure when I do have to leave my son I know exactly how much milk to tell the sitter he gets in his bottle. Very easy to use app too.

This scale helps new moms judge the breastmilk intake of their little ones. Weigh them before feeding and after to compare weights. Can clean the surface which is helpful for those inevitable messes when changing diapers. It Has a safety belt for babies advanced evough to turn over. One down side is the surface is cold so when you put the naked baby on it to weigh her it can be a bit startling.

This is an amazing product and it takes a lot for me to give a product 5 star. My wife was opposing to purchase this for our newborn but I went ahead & got this because of two things! "A" the obvious one to track the baby's weight gaining and "B" to understand how many oz milk he drank as there is no flow-meter device available to track the milk flow from my wife's breast!!! This way we could track the weight before the feeding the baby with the weight after the breastfeed and find out how many oz he ate. Newborns need 18-25 oz a day. What is amazing with this product is the app! UI is extremely friendly and is packed with tons of useful information to track the feedings, diaper change, weight, sleep so it makes is very easy to track all that and show it to his/her doctor on the next visit. Highly recommended!!!

My wife and I use this scale for our son to track his growth progress and feedings. It's amazing how accurate this scale can be even when he only feeds a few ounces. It matches the pediatrician scale as well!

I bought this scale to get an idea of my son's weight and it works great. I can weight him whenever and it even accounts for when he's wiggling. Hatch seems like a good company and I recommend this scale for anyone who is thinking of purchasing a scale.

The Hatch smart scale broke within 6 months of use and when we reached out to manufacturer we were told "We took a look at your diagnostics and it appears that your scale was damaged and has a broken load cell. Unfortunately, there is no fix for this issue. Grow is a precision scale and the same features that let us weigh a wiggly baby also make it delicate". The repair was not covered under warranty and we are now left with a very expensive changing mat which was used only a handful of times.

We use this scale as our changing table and it’s perfect for weighting our baby and the app is great for keeping track of the baby’s daily activities.

Great for new parents. As new parents and wife breastfeeding feeding this helped keep peace of mind. Easy to use and great app to keep record between self and spouse.

This scale runs off 3 included AA batteries which is nice. It is high quality and it connects to your phone in no time. But even after I purchased it and went through the Hatch Baby App, I find myself scratching my head as to why I spent so much money on it. The magic is in the free app. You can buy a cheap scale and "manually" enter the weight of your little one into the app. Or, you can spend money on this scale that does it for you. Honestly, what really bothers me is the odd shape of the changing table. I have a table top on my kid's dresser that fits a square changing pad. The Hatch is smaller and leaves a lot of open space.

New born was sick when leaving the hospital and the hatch was really helpful in making sure she was gaining weight. It is very precise when weighting babies.

Scale feature is super handy for charting the little ones growth, its also really nice to track feedings to stay in the loop with both parents.

This product really helped me put my mind at ease. It easily allows me to track his weight, his sleep, number of diapers and feedings.

Bought this for my daughter who is soon to deliver her first. She's already downloaded the app to her phone and is excited that she can track more than just feedings. Decades ago when she was an infant, relatives that never breastfed were paranoid my baby wasn't getting enough milk. I hope this will solve that issue, plus she can know exactly how much the baby weighs between doctor visits. The other handy thing about it is that it can sit on a regular dresser or table for diaper changes.
