Complete waste of money and overly complicated.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This alarm clock plays brown noise which is helpful, but there are zero wake-up sounds that actually wake me up. Everything is soothing and relaxing and lulls me back to sleep. The one energizing playlist they have is EDM music with a terrifying DJ voice that would startle me awake in a horrible way. It’s not that difficult to build a sound machine, and alarm clock that both puts people to sleep and adequately wakes them up. The entire machine also feels cheaply made for the price. For example. I have the clock face set to show up when tapped and i have to do so at least 5 times. It also feels like light-weight cheaply made plastic. Not to mention it’s $5 a month for more sound options…. What sound options? Still slim picking and for the price it should be possible to upload different sounds/music. Don’t love that it also needs wifi to function properly. Extremely disappointed and will be looking for an alternative. There’s no reason this unit should be more than $40.

Hard to recommend

The negatives: +Light intensity is 170lux compared to others at 310 It’s almost as bright as a 20 watt light bulb +Most features require the subscription. The alarm clock that keeps on costing. +Alarm sound adjusts its sound level. I keep it at max, but when I’m awaken by my failsafe phone, Hatch has set itself to 30% volume.
