I cut the cord a while back, but miss the features of having a dvr and on screen guide. With this hooked up through my Xbox one, I have it all. A limited dvr (can pause up to 30 minutes of live tv) and a guide for all my over the air channels. Great for cord cutters with and Xbox One!

I purchased this because I wanted to use my digital HD antenna with my the "One Guide" on my Xbox One. The Tuner works great. Though the antenna that came in the box leaves much to be desired. Luckily I owned a better antenna that I could use instead and it works great. So, the small antenna that comes in the box wasn't a big issue for me.

This product is great if you have it in an area of your home with outstanding reception. When I first purchased the product I had it set up in my sun room (which is glass on all four sides. The reception was outstanding; but when I moved my TV and Xbox One into my front room (only two windows) the reception suffered. The reception is fine when I move my HD (separate purchase) antenna to my TV tuner. It is my belief that this product will perform better if coupled with an antenna that also includes an amplifier. It could also mean that the Hauppauge hardware itself could benefit from a firmware update to correct the issues it has. Bottom line: When it works it works wonderfully; but beware of any reception limitations in your home.

I purchased this so I could pause and rewind my over the air signal to my Xbox One without needing a monthly fee or another box. This has met my expectations and works really well. It is a shame with this product you cannot use it as a full DVR but I know that the Xbox is not meant to be one. It does seem to freeze once in a while but I'm not sure if that is the antenna or the Xbox.

I'm happy I got this because using my antenna directly connected to my TV forces me to play sound out of my TV speakers instead of my bose solo. With the Hauppauge tuner I can play my games and television through my sound system, improving sound quality and making it a lot more simple. You can also pause live TV, which is great!

The on screen guide is easy to use. The picture seams to be clearer than the tuner in my TV. You can pause and fast forward and rewind live over the air TV. Great addition to having streaming app's.

I'd recently cut the cord from our cable TV provider, and switched to Sling TV for paid channels and an attic antenna for our local channels. I completely forgot the Xbox One had the capability of getting OTA signals and providing an OTA guide with this nifty little device. The picture quality looks just as good as having the coax connected directly to my TV. Setup was easy as the Xbox automatically scans for active channels, and gets the proper guide for your area. Now I only need to have my Xbox One powered up to enjoy OTA, Netflix, Sling TV, ESPN, etc.

I have had the tuner in place for a while now. Setup was reasonably easy and has been performing well since. I am using it with an antenna placed on my roof rather than the provided antenna for air transmitted network channels. Fits my situation well for viewing network TV (including the Super Bowl :-)

Tuner works good, only issue is the anntena provided, may need a better one to pull in more channels. Really enjoy the channel guide and rewind feature. Wish recording was available but still a good way to watch ota tv.

Wanted this to take advantage of the OTA guide. It works great. Easy to connect, use the extender usb to connect to the xbox. Search for your channels and the xbox will set the guide up based on what you get. You will probably need a stronger antenna that what it comes with, but you can get a good one for around $80. Check to see how far away your stations are and use that as a guide to buy your antenna.

I "cut the cord" a long time ago (~8 years now), but I always missed getting sports. This works flawlessly, and the Xbox scans the stations a ton faster than my TV does. The picture is perfect, and the Xbox gives me the DVR functionality I was used to when I had cable.

If you don't have cable, and are just using an external antenna, this is an excellent addition to your XBox One. TV guide is integrated and channels can be changed through the UI (and channel change is very quick). Can also enable TV recording (rewind) on the Xbox.

The included antenna was not strong enough to pick up all the channels near by (3 out of 4 of the main ones), so I still had to augment with an amplified Leaf antenna. The adapter works great with the Xbox though.

If you're looking to be a cord cutter this is essential. Great picture and sound. No stuttering. Even seems better than hooking antenna straight up to tv. Now I can use Xbox One to pause live tv as well.

Although this is the only option for a TV tuner on XBox One, it is a great product that works exactly as advertised. The programming guide integration works well. This will only improve when the XBox One adds DVR capabilities. This product works as expected.

Bought this after the dedicated portable TV picked up nothing during (or after) the hurricane. Included antenna works well to pick up local channels, but if you want even more channels spend a little extra and get a longer range antenna.

I've used it a decent amount but had to cave in and buy a new antenna. The one they provided really did not work that great. The quality when I bought a different antenna worked amazing! Quality was great!

I'll get right to the only gripe I have with this device...slight audio lag on all channels over the air when it goes through the Xbox One. I have been able to somewhat remedy the issue by fast forwarding to live (even though it's already at that point) but the lag eventually comes back. Other than that, pic quality is great, the sound is good, DVR works great even though it's very basic, and antenna signal is fairly stable.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical. But this item is a must have if you just want over the air channels on your tv and you have a Xbox one! I had a expensive long range digital antenna connected to my tv and I still couldn't pick up fox or abc. As soon as I plugged this piece in and ran a scan, I got every channel I wanted and can control it all through the Xbox without having to change input settings. I love it. It is super easy to install and fast. Do yourself a favor, especially if you are a chord cutter and get this.

I am using this with my Xbox one and a house antenna. I am picking up moreally channels than the TV tuner was however cannot get guide info for some stations because they are out of the area.
