I am a big fan of this Steelbook. I love the design here and it is great that the discs have artwork, as well. Some will criticize the transfer of the film and lack of an Atmos upgrade, but this is a true 4K transfer and the detail is there. The previous Blu-ray was also very good, which you get with this release. So, if you don't already have that, this is a great pick-up, as the previous Blu-ray is included here. So, you get it, the 4K and the awesome Steelbook.

One of my all-time favorite films, now presented in 4K that looks even better than the recent Blu-Ray release. I remember reading on the back of the laserdisc (yes!) the teaser statement claiming the bank heist sequence to be one of the most thrilling ever created, and thinking, ok, sure, we'll see - and it absolutely is! And then you find out that there's a whole lot more movie to go! Cast is all fantastic, and Michael Mann serves up a master class in crime drama.

One of the greatest crime epic to ever been made but this transfer is a hate it or love kind of thing. The steel book is amazing.

I still love this film so much!! To have a collector’s edition steelbook is awesome. I have been waiting a really long time for it to be released in 4K steelbook. So glad I waited for this! A lot of people are saying the 4K transfer is too dark, and I have to disagree! It looked awesome on my Samsung TV. It truly looked like it was filmed this year, and not 1995. Spectacular job to Michael Mann & Co. on this transfer!

for me i thought this was just okay, i liked the story of it and all but for me it was to laggy

I absolutely adore this movie. When I heard it was coming to 4K, I knew I had to have it. The steelbook is absolutely the gorgeous but the 4K resolution of the picture is even better. I even received it a day before it actually released! I’d highly recommend this to anyone.

This is a great steelbook for an equally great movie... probably Michael Mann's finest film to date. The steelbook has a nice glossy finish and the artwork on both the outside and inside is really cool. Personally, I think the dark colors used for the steelbook kind of fit the atmosphere of the movie itself. I would highly recommend this one, especially if you're a collector of steelbooks like myself.

One of the best films of all time. Steelbook does not disappoint. However I notice this the case a lot with 4k discs and blu ray releases from bestbuy. The spin side of the disc has a deep scratch. Im going to assume it is from a box cutter opening the case packs when received. Best buy needs to not cut so deep into their packaging. I hate seeing these damages on the disc packaging.

A riveting story about an intense rivalry between expert thief Neil McCauley and volatile cop Vincent Hanna. McCauley will stop at nothing to do what he does best and neither will Hanna, even though it means destroying everything around them, including the people they love.

I’ll start by saying Heat to me is a perfect film. Very slick steelbook, at first I wasn’t too happy with the artwork but I’ve grown to appreciate the simplicity of the shots used for this steelbook. Transfer looks great but may be a bit dark but with the right set up, this will look pretty sharp. Also wish this was put on a 100gb disc not a 66gb.

The story line for this film and all the characters are top notch.Michael Mann is a genius with how he captures any scene he shoots at night.This film proves that beyond a doubt.Good action, wonderful script and superb acting make this a classic to add to your collection.The steelbook looks awesome!

One of the all time best films! This release is quite dark on disc but still has the great intense scenes throughout which makes it very enjoyable. I had to bump up my lighting in the panel. The steelbook is quite nice. I may have opted a different route on the cover art. Thanks for no damages in shipment.

An all time favorite action film of mine! It does not get any better than Deniro and Pacino at the top of their game in iconic roles. The steelbook is terrific. Everything about the film from the thrilling action heist scenes, story, soundtrack, cast and directing is top notch.

Heat is a great "kinda' classic" film if for nothing else,the firdt pairing of Robert De Niro and Al Pacino on film. Their screen time togetjer is certainly nothing to crow about though. Still,a well put together film and worth owning. The 4K transfer looks fine and the steelbook looks fine.

Awesome 90’s Bank Robbery movie! Al Pacino, Robert DiNero, and Val Kilmer crush it. The Director just released a prequel/sequel in book form called “Heat 2”, if you are a fan of this movie you’ll be a fan of the prequel/sequel book. I definitely recommend.

Michael Mann’s HEAT is a well made western, the pace, confrontations, the complexity of the characters, the hero, the antagonist nothing is black or white. A surreal ambient atmosphere, where loyalty walks a very narrow line and is the only way of life.

Mann's defining work, though I'd argue Collateral gives it a run for it's money in other ways. My only knock is no Atmos but the Dolby Digital does give one of the most kinetic bank robbery heist scene in movie history justice.

Impressive upgrade to 4K. Steelbook includes digital, blu-ray & 4K UHD disks. Enjoyed listening to the bank heist scene on my Sonos surrounds with bass. But I thought the 4K UHD scenes were darker compared to the blu-ray.

This is a great movie. Entertaining and compelling. Great action sequences. Great performances by Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Great supoorting cast. One of director Michael Mann' best. Great looking steelbook.
