I bought this primarily because it had a lot of the features I was looking for: warm mist, ultrasonic cool mist, remote control, digital controls, humidistat, etc. Unfortunately, the one I got was nothing but problems. First, the heating element didn't work. So I was only able to use it in cool mist mode. Ok, I could probably deal with that. But the cool mist mode didn't humidify the air properly. Even on the highest speed, the mist only went a couple of inches up and then straight down. So the humidifier would turn off after only a few minutes even on the highest setting because as far as it was concerned it was under water while my wall humidistat showed 20% humidity. The carpet got completely soaked. I tried putting it up on something higher with a towel under it, but again the towel got soaked and the air remained dry. Even the thermometer couldn't give me an accurate reading. One minute it would say it was 50F, the next 88F. The room was a constant 68F. My cat loved to stick his face in the mist, though. So, back to Best Buy this went and my search continues.

Great purchase. Its worth the money. Have it is my bedroom and I sleep like a baby. Cold and warm option is great. really does a great job for sinus problems. If i had to choose bewteen my wife or my new humidifier in my bedroom, the wife would have to leave.

I recently purchased this humidifier because I have trouble with the dryness indoors throughout the winter months. I have it in my bedroom and it has been a great product. You have multiple options for humidity level desired and an ionic air selection with heated water. This has been a game changer and I highly recommend it!

I had it plugged in for about 2 days and the cap inside melted and there was no steam to be seen after that. I called the hf phone number and they didn't act surprised. so I took it back and bb credited my card. im still looking for a good one. any suggestions?
