Hell or High Water was very watchable. Drew me in and held me till the end. Good performances from Pine and Bridges and Chris Pines brother. An intensity and quiet dramatic build to this one. Had a rugged nearly western vibe (though set much more modern day). Worth a watch. -includes dvd, blu ray, digital copy

I bought this movie at a great price. Captain Kirk matching wits with Sheriff Bridges. Sadly this disc arrived with scratches on the Bluray disc! The standard definition disc was pristine. I am still wondering how the Bluray was damaged to begin with. Best Buy to their credit made it right though. Kudos.

You cannot go wrong watching a movie written by Taylor Sheridan. All three released so far have been phenomenal in there own way and it's difficult to pick a favorite. HeII or High Water has an interesting yet depressing premise and is backed by great performances by all, but headlined by the scene-chewing Jeff Bridges. Easily one of the finest films of the past few years.

Hello high water is a fantastic story about family doing anything fir family. The steelbook comes with a clear slipcover. Cool design. No issues with the 4K. Looks and sounds great. This will get repeat viewing.

Great cast with well-rounded characters who really add to the realism in this film. Having lived in Texas for many years in the past, I felt this film really did a great job of capturing the "Texas" lifestyle and mindset. It also shows the struggle of many people living in rural Texas.

This is a real life drama. An interesting true story, Anyone who’s ever had money troubles could understand. If you’ve ever been to Texas and experienced the country culture, you would completely understand the story in this movie and find it very enjoyable to watch. Certainly, no one should try this at home!

This middle chapter in Taylor Sheridan’s neo-western trilogy is a tour de force with excellent performances from the cast. The story starts strong and doesn’t let up. And this new Steelbook is just the cherry on top!

This is a really cool looking steelbook! The artwork on both the outside and inside is very well done. If you're a collector of steelbooks like me, this will be a nice addition to your collection. I would highly recommend.

Full disclosure, Jeff Bridges could read the phone book and I'd be a fan. However, this acting is some of the best he's done...ever. On top of that you have Chris Pine and Ben Foster that are simply outstanding in their respective roles as well. Top that all off with a really outstanding story line and you clearly have one of the best films of 2016. Truly a great film.

I just LOVED this film in the theatres! Chris Pine is excellent! I bought this for myself on disc when it first came out, and now that its on sale again i bought it as a gift for a family member! I really enjoy the old style bank robber movies and this one turns that idea upside down! Great story, awesome cast, and a fantastic ending! Highly recomend this film! A+

Excellent script, direction and acting bring to life the story of two desperate brothers trying to save the family homestead from a corrupt corporation and leaving a nest egg for the future generations. Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine and Ben Foster bring their characters to life. the script is taut and well paced. The direction crisp and on point. A great movie!

I usually am not a fan of Western movies but this one is an exception. The strength of the movie is in its characters and the dilemma they are faced with. It's about 2 brothers carrying out a robbery to help with the parents' dilemma to save their house. The story keeps you interested and the build up till the end makes it one of the best movies of 2016.

I really enjoyed watching this movie and wanted to add it to my collection. Jeff Bridges was a great pick for this character. The story was very interesting and it was very hard to not side with the brothers but there is a line that you just can't cross. I wish it could have lasted longer. Maybe later this year, the studio may release a Director's Cut.

Films like this, are like reading a book. You get to know the characters on both sides of the law. Basically, the banks are foreclosing on homes and these men decide to rob the banks to get the money back. I found myself at times cheering the robbers, but later, cheering the cops. Both have their positive and negative points. A good solid story line.

This movie is a wonderful, gritty film. Every character in this film has his flaws exposed while also showing their strength and resolve. Chris Pine is the brightest star in this film with his ability to show his inner conflicts with subtle actions in addition to showing his strength without conveying it vocally.

This movie is deserving of its Oscar nomination for Best Picture. It is a movie that will make you question your ideals of morality and if it is good to do something bad a la Breaking Bad. The entire cast, even the background characters, give excellent performances and really sell the world they live in. This is a movie you don't want to miss.

A modern western with Bridges, Pine and Foster doing some of their best work. Pine and Foster are brothers who rob the bank that wants to foreclose on the family farm knowing that oil is on the property. Bridges is the Texas Ranger tracking them down. I loved the scene at the end with Bridges and Pine on the front porch.

I expected this to be a good movie, but wow was I impressed. A modern western/cops & robbers story with seriously high-level filmmaking. Sort of a sister film to No Country for Old Men in quality, themes, and style. Great, clear HD transfer as well.

A very well made, well acted film. Hard to categorize, it's not a western in the conventional sense, but a story of two brothers trying to do the right thing, even if society would tell them it's the wrong thing. It's a film with a message that still entertains. You'll like it, and in most other years, it would have scored a stack of Oscars.

This movie is a great example of a movie with a simple story held up with excellent acting and more heart than you'd expect. Jeff Bridges is a veteran and can play just about any role well, this being no exception. He's only a supporting character, but he stole the show. The rest of it is a great ride and certainly worth your time and money.
