I loved this game so much that I had to repurchase it physically for ps4. It has great combat, graphics, and a good story. I loved this game from beginning to end.

The game developer, Ninja Theory, has put out some very good games (Heavenly Sword). This is very similar in style, in a good way. The game does an excellent job of immersing you in its world, story, and character. While presentation (graphics) and audio are excellent. They recommend playing with headphones to take advantage of the atmospheric audio production. My problem lies with the gameplay: response is slightly delayed, combat and puzzles can be repetitive, and none are deep. These flaws are somewhat diminished by the game not being long. Overall, an enjoyable experience, and one I could recommend, but not something that would be in a top 10 "game of the year" list.

This is one of the first games I have played that highly suggest you play with headphones on and I get why. As you play you hear hauntingly voices whispering to you and they also give you hints and clues to where things are in the game. I am only about an hour into this game, but it is absolutely beautiful. It's not action packed fighting like God of War, but more of being able to interact with a beautifully written movie.

How did I miss this game when it came out? If you like 'heavenly sword' or 'God of war', you'll like this. There is a learning curve because it never gives direction or "training". So read the controls on the settings. Great graphics, awesome story but very intense subject matter. It focuses on mental health issues, which is a very taboo subject in the world of video games, but they did an outstanding job. Highly recommend wearing headphones for full effect.

This game is awesome. Amazing graphics, sound, and game play. Without a doubt one of the best games for PS4. A must play.

Travel inside the mind of someone with mental health issues. This game made me feel sorry for those that go through mental health issues daily. It has a great story and game play is well done. The only downside is that it is short. You can complete this game in 8 to 10 hours and that is going slow. It can be creepy at times with all the voices that talk in her head. I think this is also a must have in a collection.

This game is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it. Awesome graphics, great sound and incredible story.

The visuals in Hellblade are among the best I have ever seen in a video game. The story line is unique and the game play is very engaging.

This is an okay game if you are looking for a hack and slash game. Very interesting idea for a game with the character hearing voices in her head. Controls, gameplay, and graphics seem good. However, the game does not offer much outside of the story in the game. The game at times can get a bit repetitive, and confusing where to go. Also, it is rather short and there is not much of a variety in terms of the enemies you face.

Bought this digitally when it first came out and was happy to see a physical release, bought a copy for my friend for his bday and he loves it! This game makes you think it's AAA because of its graphics but it's not! They story is amazing and bring you in the perspective of someone dealing with schizophrenia, must play with headphones on as you legit feel like voices are talking to you within your head

I played this for the first time on my Xbox via Game Pass, and I loved it so much I knew I'd have to buy a psychical copy for keeps. So I did it for my PS4, so I could plat it there, too! Second go 'round was just as great as the first. Visually it's fantastic, and its story is very compelling - the Norse mythology bits are so good - but the method it's told in is what really sells it for me.

This game will blow your mind on graphics, sound and game play. Game of this gen!!!

The graphics , the story , the game play, this is a must have game

Finished within a day, I was hooked on the story and learning about Senua's character and her struggles with reality. From soft and creepy to harsh and angry, the ASMR really immerses you in the confusion and grief she has of the past. Coupled with an occasional fight and plentiful puzzles, it takes a while to make sense of everything and eventually realize the true journey taken.

This game has such great graphics and the story is awesome, please be aware that it touches on the struggles with real life psychosis which is an abnormal condition of the mind that results in difficulties determining what is real and what is not, The main character seeing it as a curse must traverse through beautiful levels solving puzzles and fighting her inner demons.

What a great game. A title that I had not heard of until I researched games that are not well known. I like games that a quick to finish with a memorable story. Hellblade was a perfect game. A plot that was so different from any other game I've played. Will plan to plan through again as it was well worth the time. Very happy with purchase.

This game is an amazing experience. It’s a must play with headphones, even if you’re playing connected to a surround sound system. The gameplay isn’t anything revolutionary, but it’s still fun. It’s the story, the visual effects, and the audio that really drive this game to be a must purchase.

Hellblade was an unexpected gem of 2017, it’s the only game I pre-ordered this year, because I was immediately drawn to it after seeing its first trailer. Upon playing it, it confirmed why I was drawn to it in the first place. It’s a beautiful game, great gameplay, an interesting story, and truly captures the unpredictable and personal demons of mental illness. Hands down and by a country mile, this is my pick for Game of the Year, and I’ve played most major games released this year.

I cannot stress this enough, this is an amazing game, but I feel alot of the experience is lost if you don't play with a headset. A good home theater setup might suffice, I have both and still think the headset is better. Don't want to give anything away, just please trust me on this. A must play though!

I have never heard of this game before buying it but decided to give it a chance. This game has been AMAZING! Amazing graphics and it's very different compared to other games similar. You really get into the main characters head and it has a great storyline.
