It does it's job well. Either mount is a great choice for filming action from the bike. Word of advice: Heat up the mount a bit with a hair dryer to get them to press more so on the helmet and let the mount sit for a day before using. It won't budge after that.

Can you ever really have enough GoPro mounting accessories. A very useful item to have.

Great to be able to mount it! Fun to be able to take it snowboarding without having to use the helmet strap since we wear goggles and they’d probably just get tangled up

I bought this to go with my GoPro Hero5 Black because the sales guy recommended it. After getting home and opening the Hero5 Black box, I realized it included a mount that I could use on my helmet. This helmet mount is nice if you need/want it as a side mount. The included hardware offers a few different placement options for whatever you desire. Because I simply needed a top mount, I ended up not utilizing this particular set up.

Fantastic camera with plenty of useful features. The voice recognition, remote and protection box are great features. It does take a while to learn how to adjust the film capture features (for example: when switching from day to night or fast to slower sport).

The camera mount was easy to install to my motorcycle helmet!

Love the lcd in the back. The video quality for YouTube at 60fps makes viewing buttery smooth even without image stabilization. Sux that the new GoPro Hero 5 is actually coming out and I should have waited a little.

At last a single right angle bracket/fitting that overcomes multiple fittings to achieve a side of helmet attachment for my GoPro. It means I get the coverage without excessive slippage or vibration.
