They Might Be Giants seems to have found a niche writing children's songs, they definitely have a knack for it. The songs are catchy, but for older kids, say about 3+. My kids love to sing along with.

With Here Come the 123s by They Might Be Giants, you get tons of songs and a bonus DVD with tons of videos to go along with the songs. The animations, puppetry (from the Deeply Felt Puppet Theater), and of course the music are all incredible. I've listened to this album everyday, practically all day since I've gotten it. My favorite song is the funky "One Everything" with its tasty clavi and superb guitar lines. My wife (and I) are very impressed with (bass player) Danny Weinkauf's "Number Two," which he wrote and sings lead on - a true swank disco treat. And the other backup band contributions of "High Five" from (drummer) Marty Beller and Infinity from (guitarist) Dan Miller are also great additions. John Linnell and John Flansburgh (TMBG) have cooked up another hit record with Here Come the 123s. The sound that fans have come to expect from every TMBG release is very comfortable and inspiring. The chord structures, vocal harmonies (inc. Robin "Goldie" Goldwasser), instrumental flourish, and production savvy are much appreciated. This "children's album" will appeal to all ages (especially if you've had just about enough of whatever else your kids listen to), because parents and kids alike can enjoy this album together. Also, if you like Here Come the 123s, you will want to surely pick up their previous children's releases, Here Come the ABCs, No!, and Bed, Bed, Bed.

Packed with great catchy songs. I find myself singing them in the store, embarrassing the kids....but hey, it's all about having fun! A great accompaniment to "Here Come the ABCs".
