Every time i look at reviews for this movie it always shocks me as to how many people liked it. I'm sorry to say (especially as a fan of Matt Damon) that this movie is garbage. Even with nothing else to do after watching it I felt like the little kids in "South Park" that wanted their money back after seeing Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ". The story is alright and the cinematography was actually quite excellent but the movie is slow and really confusing. 95% of the movie spends its time following three seperate story lines that appear to have little to do with each other except for a minor incident until the last few minutes of the movie where all three story lines are wrapped together. Done so in such a hurried fashion it leaves the veiwer wanting to know more and to have a lot more character development take place.

Had little to chose from on demand, so settled for this. Boy was I pleasantly pleased as to the entertainment value of this movie. I liked it so much I purchased the DVD after watching it 3 times on demand. The plot has been used before, but not cheesey, and the use of foreign actors actually playing foreigners, and not americans playing them made it so different, even though the subtitles did become challanging at times. Over all a very entertaining movie with top notch special effects, I guess thats why Speilberg and Eastwood did the movie. Well worth the view, a real sleeper.

I thought this movie sounded great, but was mistaken. This must have been a money grab for Damon. Terrible story line, bad acting by the female lead. The ending was so anti climactic , it just about made me mad that I had wasted the time watching this boring movie.

This movie is so boring I can't tell you how much I was bored.

A good movie to watch that makes one think about death and the hereafter.
