I read a lot of reviews and did my research before giving this TV a try. I was still skeptical even after hearing all the great things people were saying about these Hisense tv's. Decided to give it a chance and boy am I so glad I did! You can not get a better TV for under $500. Picture was actually good out of the box. A few tweaks and I got it jus right. Very vibrant and detailed and better than any 1080P Sony or Samsung that I've had previously. The picture is deep and colors are accurate. The upscaling is done very very well. The motion is smooth and having just watched the Superbowl I can say that was the best football TV experience I've had as I saw no motion blur or pixelization whatsoever. As for the price I got lucky and got this for a steal brand new at $299. Even at $500 you would be winning. That's how great this TV is. Yeah it doesn't say it has HDR but when I play my PlayStation 4 (non ps4 pro) certain games with HDR support like NBA 2K17 look different. I can switch on and off the HDR feature in the ps4 menu and see a very noticeable difference in how the game looks... So if this doesn't support HDR I don't see how that could happen. I guess for anyone on the fence take a chance like I did and you will be very pleased!! After all there is a good reason Best buy doesn't have any Hisense TV's on display in store.

best buy sent me a 10% and a 10.00 gift card for my birthday i got this for 279.00. This TV is amazing. It look good and sound great. I would believe i got a 4k and 50 inch tv for this price. And a 4 yr guaranteed.

I read a lot of the reviews for this TV and had never heard of Hisense before I started looking for a replacement TV. I read somewhere that Hisense was very large in Europe and probably trying to start selling more TV's in the US. I liked what I read and the pricing was very good for a 50" 4K TV. I purchased the TV on the 26th and had it setup and running in less than 30 minutes. I have a Charter Box, DVR and Blue Ray player attached and configured in that time. I have played around with some of the settings but not a lot and not sure it needs to be adjusted. The picture is remarkable and the sound is much better than expected. It has only been a few days but am very pleased with the TV so far and will update down the road. I can't wait to watch the Super Bowl on this TV.

For a 50" 4K ultra HD TV you cannot beat the price. Picture is beautiful and even regular shows look much better on this TV. Netflix and Amazon do have 4K options and while limited there are choices out there. No issues with the sound like some other reviewers mentioned. This is my 2nd Hisense TV and I could not be more pleased with their company.

Bought this TV last night and I am extremely pleased with the picture...and sound. I was a little skeptical of buying an off brand TV at $300, but the specs and reviews didn't lie. We had a 49" LG 1080p TV for the past eight years. I realize technology has changed, but this TV has a better picture and much better sound quality. My wife commented on how real the news people look...very clear picture. My sports programs (in motion) have no blur, no digital lag. I'm not sure if it mattered or not, buy I did buy a 4K HDMI cable ($23). The salesperson told me there's a four year warranty on this television. That's a first. Buy with confidence. Enjoy!

The picture on this TV is great. Clear, sharp, and bright. The back has a VESA 400x400 mounting pattern. Because of this pattern and the light weight of the TV, you can use just about any TV mount you want. I love that it has 4 HDMI jacks. Wifi makes it easy to connect to the internet. Because of the great colors, I use this TV to edit pictures using Photoshop. If you are going to use it this way, just be sure to calibrate the monitor before making your edits. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This tv was a nice upgrade to my living room. Picture and sound quality is top notch. Streaming 4k video from YouTube and Netflix is amazing. All of my video games look brand new because I am seeing picture detail and clarity that I never saw before with my old tv unit! Hisense also offers a 4 year extended warranty for free after you register your tv. So far I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

This Hisense model has a stunning picture.. Better than the 4k Samsung we have. A great bargain at this price!

I got this UHDTV for half it's price during BlackFriday sales, what a deal! I use my laptop's DisplayPort 1.2 and a DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 active adapter (there are 2 HMDI 2.0 port in the back of the TV) to get 3840x2160 at 60Hz for some fine gaming or 1080p at 120Hz. At 30Hz or lower, seems to have more color detail than at 60Hz (I think hertz higher than 30 I see lost in color). It could be the HDMI 2.0 cable I'm using, but I fix it by lowering the gamma and rising the saturation from my laptop. I like that the picture and sound settings on the TV has it's own profile for each input and for apps. Don't have to keep switching presets between TV, Netfilx, etc. The 50H6C don't have HDR I think. The demo video that plays after you finish setting up your TV shows a demonstration of HDR, so I'm not clear on if it use HDR or not.

This TV has 4 HDMI inputs and 3 USB inputs. It streams in 4K and has a web browser and tuner. Tons of picture setting options. I like how it has a setting to turn off the screen keeping the audio playing. This will come in handy on music choice channels. I have this hooked up to surround sound now but I was amazed by the loudness and clarity of the 2 speakers even though they are in the back of the tv.

I like everything about this TV, sharp picture, size (fits perfect in my modified old wall unit) lightweight, price, etc. It could use another AV-IN outlet to connect my home theater unit which has a VCR/DVD player. Yes, I still play old classic movies in VCR format. I am however, having a problem with the Secondary Auto Program (SAP). I like to switch between Spanish and English on certain programs. I called Customer Service and was unable to solved the problem. I might have to reconfigure the connections with my DirecTV box which has no HDMI connection.

This is a reasonably priced 4k tv that does 1080p wonderfully. 4k Game of Thrones and Breaking bad looked great once I turned off OverScan. This tv has netflix and amazon prime video buttons on the remote to quickly load up streaming services. There is no HBO GO, or Now app unfortunately so you will need another device, like a gaming console or apple tv to watch that. All in all, great tv, I did not notice any input delay while gaming and both 4k and 1080p content looks and feels great.

There is nothing cheap about this HDTV except the price! The picture is amazing, and its sound is good enough to skip a soundbar. Lots of features/ports for expansion, and a quality feel to everything including the remote. Its OTA tuner found new channels that my old Toshiba could not. The built-in "smarts" work well, and even have quick access from the remote for Netflix and Amazon (Prime) streaming. The TV's menu and software work smoothly and are well designed. Nice job Hisense!

This is a terrific TV, but here's a word of warning: make sure you set it up immediately. I bought this in early December because it was on sale, but wasn't able to set it up until yesterday (February 28). Picture was awful with streaks and blotches because screen was cracked. Box was not damaged, so unit must have been dropped in the final packing stage. Best Buy will not take it back (time limit), and Hisense will not honor guarantee because it does not cover physical damage. Local TV repairman says it will cost as much as a new TV to replace the screen. So...I am out 500 bucks. The motto is, if you buy something because it is on sale, don't think you can wait until you have time to check it out... do it NOW! I hope this helps someone.

Buy it!! For the money it can't be beat. Even though doesn't say HDR it does have an adaptive contrast setting in the advanced picture settings menu. Crystal clear picture and the smart features are not sluggish like most smart TVs. You can't go wrong!!

I am not dissatisfied with my purchase. It states 60Hz, but it also has Ultra Smooth Motion which seems to be doing a great job during fast scenes. Quality is great. Very happy with my purchase.

Was skeptical about buying this. Seen a couple of bad reviews but since I've bought it and set it up haven't been disappointed. Has a great picture. Sounds it pretty good. Great for gaming. I set up my PS4 to it and plays great. No input lag/delay. Great 4K picture. No problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend.

I don't normally do reviews, but I saw this tv and have never heard of the brand before so I was a little sceptical. I looked at the reviews and decided to buy it, i love it. The sound is amazing right out the box and the picture is way better than that of Vizio, toshiba or Sony. I am definitely happy with this tv and the quality....I would recommend this to anyone not sure what tv to buy.

I got this tv for my elderly mom for Christmas and I'm so glad I did! The tv pic looks like you're looking into a fish aquarium! On most movies it literally looks like you can touch the threw the tv, the picture quality is so freaky beautiful! My mom love, love, love her tv! Way to go Hisense!

Could not be happier with this purchase. Bought it in store on sale for 299.00 and used my Best Buy account to get an additional 5 percent off. I bought a 65" Sony 4K recently and it was over 2,000 bucks and I feel like the hisense has better picture and sound. Can't get a better tv for less than 300 in my opinion.
