The price is real good for a 55in tv. The picture is real sharp and overall it’s a good lightweight tv. It has plenty of apps you can watch. The only problem I have is that this one app that I watch I have trouble with on the roku tv. It always cuts off and I have that same app on the fire stick in another tv and it works good. Overall I’m real happy with the tv.

Best HiSense TV

I bought two HiSense within one week. The one from Best Buy was great. Its in the kids room and its easy to navigate with the Roku remote. I brought another Hisense from Costco and it was horrible. Software issues and connectivity issues to WiFi more than it should. The one from Costco is the Dwayne Wade version and is an Android HiSense compared to Best Buy version which is a HiSense Roku TV. Best Buy for the WIN!!!

Good Picture, Software Glitches

TV looks great, picture quality is a nice upgrade from 1080.
Tv picture is brighter along the edge of the screen causing some bright areas on dark scenes. Software is hit or miss, all apps are susceptible to a hiccup that de-syncs the audio from the video. Apps sometimes randomly close also, so that's a thing. If you have other devices hooked up (I have an xbox in HDMI1 and chromestick in HDMI2) they stream content with out the glitches.

Thank you for your interest in Hisense USA. We sincerely apologize for the issue you are having with the apps on your television glitching. Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. If this does not resolve the issue please give us a call at 1-888-935-8880 or email us at [email protected]. Thanks Again,
We look forward to hearing from you!

I purchased this to replace an almost 10yr old 42" Panasonic plasma 1080p (which is going to the basement now). While this is not a QLED/OLED picture, it is more than sufficient for my old eyes. Screen refresh (120hz) is good enough for fast motion without really noticing any blurriness. I have used Roku devices at some rentals in the past, and I find this to be both responsive and full of features. Three things in particular. If you connect an HDTV antenna, plug a usb stick in the back of the TV and you can "pause" it up to 90 minutes. Second, if you install the app on your smart phone, you can make it act like the remote from a standalone Roku (remote control and headphones). And for network/Roku, it connects to your wi-fi reliably.
Overall I am happy with my purchase, and would recommend this to anyone looking to dip your toe into the 4K waters without going neck deep.

We got this TV to replace a 43" TV that we had in our living room. Is a great size TV for the room size which is around 12' x 12'. I never had anything with roku and I am starting to like it. We have our fire stick in it and use both platforms. Really easy to use since the start.

Picked up this 55" a week ago. Great price under $230. This is my
first UHD TV. Also my first Hisense TV. Have 3 premium TVs
(HD only) by Sony, Samsung, and Sharp. This picture quality surpasses the others easily at a total cost of $2250 when they were
new. Sound on the Hisense was OK but kind of boomy, so I added a
Insignia sound bar and an 8" Dayton sub woofer. Now, the picture
and the sound are both outstanding at a budget cost!

This is a pretty good cheap TV. Image, color and contrast is decent. Plenty of apps to stream from, Roku, Prime, Youtube, etc. etc.
I had an issue after a month, the picture changed to something like a negative in picture (for those who still remember film LOL), very dark. I called support, they answered quickly and guide me well to get the set back to normal. It seems the TV had gotten a spike in voltage and needed to be reset. I thought the TV was fried, but it was an easy fix. They made sure everything was ok before we hung up. Very impressed with the service. BTW the number I called answered press 1 for HiSense and 2 for Sharp... don’t know if they are the same company or they share their support number, just thought it was interesting to mention. I will update review afterwards to comment on long term reliability. I hope it lasts a long time!

After almost a year of use, this TV is still going strong. Bought it on sale for a great price. The picture is really nice and the HDR really brings out the colors. Some backlight bleed through on edges, but not very noticeable.

LOVE this TV
the speakers are on the bottom so I don't have to have additional speaker hooked up just to hear like I did my older samsung because the speakers were in the back of the TV
it has Roku built in, SO I know unplug my ROKU and my speaker and I am also saving electric
nice picture and color AND THE PRICE WAS GREAT

I was initially skeptical, but with kids in the house I didn’t want to spend a huge amount on a new TV. This one has a nice picture; easy to set up and use. We really like the Roku interface, which is the main reason we decided on this one. The sound is good, too. Overall, we’re happy with it thus far.

Needed a second set for the Superbowl. Didn't need to pay for a brand name CEO's bonus for the floor models. Likely, BB won't have this gem on display. So use their website to see if your local store has one in stock. They will dig it out and help load it in your car. Sweet BB folks!
All TVs are made by the same manufacturer and I don't think any brand can make a bad set these days. The tech and automation are too good!
Anyway, set looks great 4k, setup is intuitive, supports dual band wireless, streams the world, full HD OTA, and reasonable price.
Thank you BB!

We love this TV. The picture is so bright and clear. It looks better then our few years old Sony in another room. Having Roku has been great for the kids. It so easy to access YouTube, Disney+, and all their other apps. Got it on a great deal and couldn’t be happier with it.

I bought this TV in desperate need of a TV and it was the cheapest but the quality Inn sound is phenomenal I would get this TV again in a heartbeat if I ever need another TV why pay five $600 for a namebrand when you could spend a lot less for the same amount of quality if not better

Great picture and sound. I love how simple it was to set up. It’s a little big for my small bedroom but I couldn’t beat the price. I’ve only had it for a short time. Hope it lasts for many years. It’s replacing an eight year old Panasonic plasma TV. Anyway so far I love it.

This is a very nice TV, vibrant picture and easy to use. The remote control is simple and we are entertained with Ruku, easy to add channels that have apps, which most all do. We are 50 plus, very simple.
