I've been taking my time for the past 4 years on deciding my next big screen TV purchase. So I decided to go with this Hisense 65-inch 4K with HDR and Dolby vision. So far so good it looks great I purchased a budget 4K player for now until I get the one I want but my movies look excellent. It even up upscales regular Blu-rays to look fantastic I am more than thrilled and satisfied and now I'm considering on purchasing the 55-inch for my bedroom. If you're looking for a great TV with high-end features at a affordable cost then look no further this is the one.

the TV is a bit heavier than ones the same size, but the picture and sound make up for it, very easy to hook up to my Yamaha receiver and Bose surround system, the only down fall is the clunky internet access, or maybe its just me??

Saw this TV and wanted to give it a try, being an android system - Picture clarity is great, love the image the tv displays. Audio is also clear.
TV viewing is great - the system itself is not.
Day 1 the tv was hooked up switched to antenna channels and the tv froze, it wouldn't turn off or interact in any way, I unplugged the tv and it disconnected with apps, which I had to enter my username and password again.
Later on in the week the tv went to a green screen, rebooted and came up with an Android Recover screen - saying Can't load android system. Your data may be corrupt. That's something you wouldn't want to see on a tv. After selecting try again, it worked.
The software / main screen isn't great - minimal apps, and apps I have on my Vizio tv isn't on Hisense which is a disappointment. The Software is very glitchy and won't open items and actually does nothing, so you are just sitting and waiting.
While writing this I tried opening up Google play video, to take a picture of the quality of the TV but it's not pulling up the movie and it stuck on a black screen.
No, currently I wouldn't recommend this tv, until the glitches on the software is fixed.
While writing this review, the tv is not working.

Purchased this panel from Bestbuy on July 5th, it was only $899.00 at the time, I kind of feel like I stole it for that price because the picture quality is really great.
The picture is very clear and sharp, it is as if you are looking out through a window. I counted 16 vertical dimming zones. I run the local dimming setting on low and it does really well. Setting the local dimming on medium or high is way to aggresive, I can see the zones slighlty pulsating on dark scenes so I set local dimming on low.
This panel can get very bright and has the some of the best contrast and black levels I have seen from an edge lit panel. Using an Apple 4k tv box and streaming Directv now looks really really good.
The best thing about this tv is watching 4k hdr movies from disc.
I just watched Blade Runner 2049 from the disc and it looked fantastic. The black bars pretty much stayed black. Also watched from disc Justice League and Pacific Rim Uprising, both those films were in Dolby Vision and it looked so good I had to pick my jaw up from off the floor.
The speakers on this tv can get really loud. The android operating system seems quick and snappy. There is no dse "dirty screen effect'' on this tv. The sweet spot for viewing is dead center or maybe 20 degrees off center. The only one issue I have is if setting contrast adjustment above 60 or 70 it sometimes will clip and blow out back ground highlights, like clouds in the sky. Keeping contrast set about 60 or so looks really great though.
Also I included a picture below of the Hisense box next to my Samsung 65q9fn box. So how does this H9E plus compare to the Q9FN? The q9fn can get brighter, and it can also do blacklevels slightly better. The H9E plus does have a more clear and sharper image though. Don't get me wrong I mean the q9fn is a great tv but this H9E plus can sometimes consistently put out a better picture.
If you are looking to buy a 65 inch tv and dont want to spend alot of money than this may be the one for you. I purchased this tv to put in my bedroom, I am so impressed by the picture quality that it is now in my main living room and I moved the Q9FN to my bedroom where it wont get much use except for in the evenings.

In the past few months, I personally have experience with the Samsung Q60 Series, TCL 6 & 4 Series, and Vizio's V65 Tv's. It's easiest to just break down the Pros and Cons of this TV. For info purposes the tv is connected to a Google Fiber TV Box, an Onkyo Z Series 9.2 dolby atmos receiver, hard wired ethernet 1GB internet connection, and all cables are HDMI 2.1
Pros:
-Hands down this is TV has THE BEST picture of any of the units I've had. It produces deep black levels and brilliant whites. It has a better picture than TV's that cost thousands more.
-The 4K upscaler is fantastic (rarely do you see visual artifacts)
-Out of the box color is great and did not have to use the advanced calibration to achieve a bright crystal clear image.
-The bezel is almost non existent. This is a visually stunning TV and have had many comments on how nice it looks.
-Initial setup is a breeze and was well boxed / packaged.
-HDR & Dolby Vision in any of it's modes is great and you can save personalized settings for each mode, input, AND app.
-The android o/s is nice for those who want developer options access to the operating system allows downloading of apps everyone does in the Google Play Store (just like you're phone).
-Casting from almost any device (PC, Laptop, Iphone, Android Phones, Tablets) is fast and responsive.
Cons:
-The remote can be a little hard to get used to. Although it's larger than others, the layout of the buttons in relation to where your fingers land naturally can lead to some "oh crap" moments. Perhaps the biggest "what were they thinking" remote problem is that there is NO input button on it. You have to go to the Home Screen, then INPUTS, then choose the input (if you have multiple sources). This makes NO sense.
-Although you can change the order of apps in the home screen, I had to search through forums on how to achieve this. It's nowhere in the user guide.
-Although rated as a 120Hz TV, the HDMI inputs from other sources is only rated at 60Hz and 30Hz.
-Now the BIG ONE. If you are someone who relies on the HDMI ARC / CEC functionality of a TV, you are in for some REAL PAIN. My super cheap Vizio is fantastic in this regard and sends Dolby Atmos audio back through to my receiver flawlessly. NOT HERE. The only way I have been able to achieve audio that is not out of sync is to switch the TV's ARC settings to PCM - which eliminates the ability to watch content from any app (ie Netflix, CBS All Access, Amazon Video, et) in Dolby Surround sound. THIS SUCKS!!
-My other big complaint is the speed at which this unit switches inputs from my cable box to an app and back. It gets confused easily and can take either a reboot of the TV, my audio receiver, and cable box or a wait of up to a minute to make the switch (TV displays week or no signal message). This is very frustrating. Changing sources on the audio receiver also is painful if switching from a source that used ARC audio.
In the end, if you're not using audio ARC, then RUN to buy this TV. It has hands down the best picture for the $$ available. But if you connect it to home theater equipment or even a soundbar, you may look at the Samsung Q60 series or the new TCL Quantom Dot series. If Hisense releases and update to fix this issue, I will update this review.

I have to admit the world cup in 4k app is what drove me to purchase this tv. I am sure that a 3k samsung or lg would have superior picture but this will cost a thrid of that and give a great picture. I have a 4k samsung mid level samsung in my living room and this blows it away in terms of brightness and colors. Mostly used for sports and video games Fifa 18 is a sight to see on this tv. TV uses android smart tv features which are adequate some hisense use roku which i assume would be better.
Tv has a few negatives but maybe this has more to do with me not being familiar with hisense then a fault of the tv. First off the only way to switch from one hdmi to another is to go through the android menu (at least as far as I have noticed). Small issue for me as i will often run an mlb game through my cable box and one on mlb.tv at the same time and this makes it hard to go back and forth. The other is I cannot figure out how to totaly turn off tv sound while I am using my soundbar. I disable tv sound in settings but as soon as i turn volume up on sound bar with cable box remote the tv sound comes right back on. Again this could be more on my end not knowing what I am doing rather than a fault of the tv.
Finally the bulit in live sports apps seem to have issues with connectivity. I have tried to watch events on fox sports go and through mlb.tv and have encountered dropped signals and buffering (tv has lan connected thorugh wifi extender) I think this is more of an issue with the apps because I have had none of these issues with netflix
I cant say how the tv will hold up down the road as I am not familiar with hisense longterm quality but for now its a winner. I purchased 5 year care plan to ease some of those concerns

I bought the Hisense 65H8F model, I have had it now for over 5 months. And so far I am loving it, it does have a few concerns things about it, but overall it went above my expectations. I have always owned Samsung or LG TVs but decided to give Hisense a go to bring able to have Android TV for cheap. Not my peeps and cons are based on the hardware, not the software as it can be updated fairly easily, unlike traditional smart TVs.
Cons:
Dark corners of the screen
Brought white colors seem to cause minor bleeding
Legs seem flimsy
Screwed for mounting hardware are you short and get small.
CPU could be faster
The lack of storage space could be higher for a little $$.
Pros:
Amazing picture quality
Very light tv, way handles to left by
Virtually no bezel
Very comfortable remote
Supports ARC, eliminating cables to sound system.
240 motion rate makes the video look amazing
HDR allows the long night to be seen unlike either of Samsung TVs.
Now a free weird about how I used it tonight. Loaded up all my favorite Google apps, YouTube tv, youtube, Google play movies, along with HBO, steam link.
First off I didn't expect the steam link to work so well. I have Google WiFi and it streamed the Witcher in 4K to my TV with no noticeable lag, tried a lot of other action games as well such as dungeon and Sine Mora, and battlefield 4. All played extremely well.
4k content played extremely well though I didn't have an Ethernet cable plugged in, it loaded and buffered to 4k within about 30 seconds. This is due to only having an 80 Mbps connection.
As above watched s8e3 the long night off HBO, the dark scenes we're clear and easy to see, watched it in broad daylight with shares open on a 75° day with lots of suns. Again no issues at all.
YouTube and YouTube seemed to be a bit slow.
The default browser was not tried but I downloaded Brave and worked great, watched YouTube faster hen YouTube app.
Synced Google mini and Bluetooth controllers to tv, they all worked great.
Google Home has not been able to find my TV, but that maybe my Google home, it's been dying for a few days and doesn't respond like the other ones in my house. With that, my bedroom Google mini could control the tv just fine but still can't add to my google home app.
I'll update again in 30 days. If my cons don't steer you away you will love this tv, and love the price you paid even more!
Update: So a bit longer than 30 days, still loving the TV, it is fantastic I have told many people about it and they too have ordered it. No, it's not the best on the market, but it's amazing for what it costs. Everything I said still holds true. Fantastic product.

Now that I have had this TV for 2 years, I can give an honest review of the performance of how it does. First, after reading & comparing all models in the price that I wanted to spend, this model seemed to fit what i was looking for in a 65" TV. Second, the picture is actually amazing & the weight is perfect for hanging on the wall. Third, the design of the set fits the room well. Now for some things of much needed improvement, the remote is nothing to brag about, it could have been backlit & the response when pressing the keys to when the TV responds kinda lags. The other main issue is the WiFi connection is horrible. Even when hard wired to the router, the playback of movies does a "shutter" during the time you watch. I thought maybe it was the router, so i got an RJ-45 & connected it to the TV; no change. But if i use the XBOX to play anything, there are no issues. So it's the TV reception of the internet & use of apps. This being said, overall this is a decent TV with a WIFI connection issue. Maybe I got a faulty set.

We purchased this tv for our living room after we purchased an LG (paying twice as much) that had great reviews, got it home and we were not at all happy with the quality. We have a 55" Hisense in our bedroom and felt the quality was better than the more expensive brand. We took back the LG and decided to purchase this tv. It wasn't set up in the store to preview so we took a risk because when tv models change and the size goes up the quality is not always as good. The risk paid off. We could not be happier. The picture is fantastic. Vibrant color, deep blacks. I am however unable to comment on the sound quality since we hooked it up to our surround sound right away. This really is a great tv and the price makes it even better! You seriously can not go wrong for the price. In my opinion it's just as good as the tvs that you'll pay twice as much for.

The TV is great, colors are perfect. The brightness is more than needed so it is adjustable to your liking.
The sound is great and pretty much no need for a sound bar. One thing I cannot find is the volume leveler. There are times when the volume gets too loud without touching the volume setting.
The remote was ok but could be better. I think the buttons are too close that you press the wrong button at times.

The Best Buy I ordered through put me through hell. They sent me a completely defective television (wifi did not function and the ethernet cable connection also barely functioned). The manager at the Best Buy location was extremely difficult to deal with and rather rude, which is surprising given my past positive experiences with Best Buy. I simply asked for the location to pick up the defective television (I had the tv delivered in the first place) and replace it with what I ordered (a fully functional Hisense 65" H9 Plus Series). Unfortunately, that simple request was denied repeatedly to the point I was very stressed (it takes quite a bit to stress me out, and even more for me to take time out of my day and write such a lengthly review).
Eventually (a week and a half after the start of my ordeal), I was able to coerce the location manager to ship a replacement television out from another location and take the defective tv back.
Review of Best Buy's customer service and handling of what I believed to be a simple situation: Gave me a defective product, just take the bad product back and replace it.

Review of the actual TV:
I love the tv. It has incredible picture. The quality of watching some old football games and LOTR has been great. I also love the in-device chromecast feature. I use this pretty much daily and the video quality/stream quality from my computer is also quite good. In addition I have noticed zero issues with Wifi connectivity and zero lag while using chromecast and/or direct apps from the tv. My only gripe is that I cannot download Amazon Prime Video direct to the TV as I watch Stargate and some other shows only on that service.

First I have to say the picture is amazing! I am a picture snob and have tried Samsung 8000 series and LG 8 series and they do not come anywhere close to the picture Quality that This TV has. The video motion is streamless the colors are nice and bright and even that sound the TV is great. If you're hesitant on buying this TV don't be it was probably the best TV I've have ever purchased.
