Wow!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What else can I say, but Wow! This TV has an incredible picture. Streaming 4k HDR content looks amazing. Upscaled HD content looks pretty darn good too. The detail and black levels are just as good as the reviews claim. This is easily the best tv available for under $1k.

Nice picture but buggy software.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is nice. Pretty comparable to the Samsung Q80 I think. Though the software is buggy. Every time you turn on the Tv it says to delete apps because it’s out of memory storage even after Deleting cache files and adding a 64gb memory stick I still get the problem. Theres some other features as well that don’t seem to work correctly or fluently. I think I would have been happier with the Sony 900.

Serious Memory Issues Caused Set Failure
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No complaints on the picture quality on this set. Wish I could say the same for the onboard electronics and "smart tv" capabilities. After a couple years of use, the set developed serious memory problems. Apps couldn't be deleted, memory couldn't be cleared or reset and the set became useless. It couldn't even be used as a monitor for an external box like a Roku because it continues to throw constant memory errors -- or doesn't work at all. Looked into replacing the main board, but the part is now out of stock at Hisense parts and everywhere else. I now own a Samsung.

Beautiful Picture
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very satisfied with my purchase of my 65" H9G. I compared it to a Samsung and the numbers were about the same except for the price. I saved a lot of money on reading the reviews, also the Best Buy associate shared his knowledge on picture quality, and price comparisons. A smart AndroidTV with Beautiful Picture quality. Thank Hisenes for keeping up with the competition with a reasonable price!

Great TV, ok operating system.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture quality and look. I like that the feet are set further in than most TVs, allowing you to use a narrower base if not wall mounting. Take the time to lookup recommendations for calibrating. Used one online and improved picture quality drastically. I have only two complaints, but I’ll preface by saying I am not very tech savvy and that probably factors into this. 1: Uses Android operating system but most apps are not set to work with Google Play Stores TV app system. This includes Zoom and several TV based systems. Really disappointed in this. 2: I have an IPad and iPhone. No Android phone/tablet. Due to this I have to use a 3rd party mirroring app for Zoom meetings I was hoping to display on the screen. Unfortunately I can’t get the system to transit audio and when mirroring the iPad/iPhone won’t have audio either. Only option I can find to work is by signing into a meeting with my phone for audio and iPad for video. Really not optimal given the number of zoom meetings I do right now due to COVID keeping me home. Overall these complaints are pretty minimal and can be fixed by app developers or Google Play Store. I would recommend this tv, especially if you use Other Android devices. If App Store was updated, I would t need to mirror for meetings and would definitely give 5 stars at that point.

Hisense 65" H9G review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is replacing an older 50" Vizio. Its a good looking tv with a small bezel and cool looking stand. It does not sit up very high though. I dont think you would be able to fit a sound bar underneath. It was very easy to set up and the first thing you notice when it comes on is the vibrant colors. The TV is in a medium lit room and shows very bright. Watched a couple things in 4K and the picture look awesome. I also bought a sound bar with it but I haven't hooked it up yet because the speakers are very loud! Android part of TV is very convenient since everything else I have is Google

Keep it up Hisense
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been a great TV especially for the price so far. Great picture, deep blacks, HDR is bright and pop's. Only downside is that it wont do 120 with any of the new gen consoles which I knew of before making this purchase and honestly it's really not that big of a deal and something I can deal with in the future. I look forward to seeing what Hisense does in the future and if they can keep improving upon the quality of their TVs and stay in the sweet spot with the price range then I will bypass the more expensive brand's and stick with this company for sure.

Amazing bang for the buck
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Raving reviews on the internet across the board including Rtings.com OLED-like blacks but less than half the cost. Colors that pop that outs Samsung QLED to shame. Low input lag that’s great for gaming. This is an absolute steal at $950. The 65” has more dark zones than the 55” version, explaining the 50% increase in price apart from just the size. The Android GUI isn’t as bad as some claims to be. Remote is simple, but practical. Hisense is the new Samsung!

Great TV from Hisense. worth every penny.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic TV at a great price. I was going back and forth between this TV and the TCL 6 series. I'm glad I chose this one. The picture quality is amazing and the blacks are deep and dark. A recent update has installed Google TV software on it instead of Android TV which is a big improvement. The only downside to this TV is that it doesn't do 4k at 120hz which is disappointing if you are a gamer with a next gen console, but for the price you really can't find anything else with this kind of picture quality.

Great TV for the money.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good TV if you love to watch movies or tv. The color, brightness, and picture quality is great for the price. I ended up returning it though because even though it says it is a 120hz panel it can only output 60hz. If you are looking for a tv, and don't care about 120hz gaming this is the tv for you.

HDR image great. Significant other issues.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The red blur effect is horrible on this tv. This issue was identified 5 months ago and still no fixes have been issued. If you buy this tv, try out The Witcher episode 7. Really any darker scenes with motion. And make sure you can live with it. Otherwise return it, there is no fix. The motion handling sucks on this tv. The HDR movie watching on this tv is amazing for 1000 (with the exception of the above), but it’s got a lot of issues. Also my 200 dollar tv has more onboard memory than this tv. Android tv is pretty good and snappy most of the time. It’s nice to have the android store for apps.

Don't hesitate
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this hisense H9G when my TCL 6-series died after just 1 and a half years. I almost bought a Sony until I seen this bad boy. I absolutely love this TV. The picture out of the box is okay but with all the calibration tools in this tv it is easy to get the picture perfect look. Also the HDR and Dolby vision is amazing. Once again don't hesitate just buy it...

Great TV at a good price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this TV for nearly a month, and it’s been great so far. This is my second 4K TV, but my other unit was so old it didn’t even have HDR. The TV gets very bright and HDR content looks amazing. Colors need some tweaking in order get them right, and it makes a big difference in how my UHDs, blu-rays, and games look. Seriously, there are finer details that show up way better if you make adjustments. If you’re considering getting this TV it might be worth getting a pro calibration. Note: these fancy HDR TVs aren’t really a set-it-and-forget-it type of thing. Depending on what I’m watching I switch settings between game, theater and vivid with customer settings for each. The base is very sturdy but takes up more space that the smaller feet on some other TVs. I didn’t have enough space on the entertainment center for my soundbar so I purchased a $25 mount from Amazon and top-mounted to my TV. I’m a gamer but I don’t play competitively, so the lack of game-centric features like VRR don’t bother me. Likewise, many of the problems other buyers had with the OS and built-in apps don’t bother me because I use an Apple TV. The only issues I have are minor. Occasionally, google assistant will pop up at the bottom of the screen like I’m talking to it even though I never use it. It’s not frequent, but it happens. Sometimes CEC doesn’t properly turn off all my connected devices. This TV boots up very quickly—which is good!—but sometimes when I power off the TV my soundbar and/or Apple TV don’t power off quickly enough before my TV gets a signal that a CEC-connected device is on and turns itself back on. Again, not a big problem—the TV is too fast for its own good sometimes—but it’s worth mentioning. Only other issue is the occasional stutter in slow pans during movies. That’s pretty much unavoidable in most TVs these days, especially higher end sets. End of the day I highly recommend this TV especially if you primarily use it for movies. This is a great TV for the money.

Great purchase... Add One In Your Home!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 65" Hisense ULED is an awesome product. Lets start with the size, as you can see in the photos and pics i used, its a perfect fit specially if you have it over a fireplace. The picture quality on this tv absolutely blew me away. As i sat and watched cartoons with my youngest son, the colors popped out and made old movies look like they were remastered to a higher quality picture. My oldest son is into video games so when playing sports games it made the players and field look so real. As we played his mass player online games the graphics were awesome but there was a slight lag. To fix that, Hisense had a feature built in the tv were you could switch it over to a game mode and the lag was gone. It did change the pic quality however it still was a 8 of 10 if i had to give it a rating. When watching tv with my wife, our shows looked super realistic which gave a whole new feel to the shows. For those who like their tv's to be the center of the audio, the speakers on this thing are great. When not using my surround sound, i usually don't have the tv past 6 because it gets loud very quick which is awesome. I didn't test it out to see how high it goes however there is a bar that shows you where you are in terms of maxing the volume out and i wasn't even a quarter of the way there yet so i can only imagine how much louder it can go. When it comes to apps and connecting to todays technology, i love the google feature on this tv so that it mirrors what you have on your google account. The games, apps, etc that you purchased/downloaded already are also housed on this tv once you go through the setup mode to sync your google account to it. As you may guess since it has the google play store, yes it also have google voice. Ive been able to talk to the tv to provide weather updates and other new related items which is very convenient. When cooking in the kitchen which is maybe 20-30ft away, the voice activation works without any issue which is great to have that type of range.

65" HG9
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a Visio 55" 4K tv I had for 5 years which was not really a 4K set, but great picture anyway. The HG9 Hisense set just blows away the older Visio's performance especially since this one is a larger 65"set. I read as many reviews as I could find and very happy with my purchase, the HDR and Dolby Vision are the main reasons and the true 4k resolution really pops.

great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great picture, great features. Android TV is good but could be better. "hey google" feature sometimes has a mind of its own. as for the TV, 120hz model would be nice but isn't a deal breaker. Really its a great TV for the money and the annoying features can be turned off.

Highly Recommended (alternative now U7H)
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic Picture. Near oled quality with great contrast and black levels. It has been a year now for this one and definitely happy. Just bought my son the U7H and it is so close now to this one in quality, i can't distinguish which is better. Sound on the U7H is definitely better. We are on our fourth Hisense TV now. No issues. Highly recommended.

Colors Pop!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to upgrade my old 55 inch, 1080p Insignia brand tv with a larger, 4k set without breaking the bank. I saw videos on this brand and gave it a shot. It was on sale for $940+ tax and I had gift cards, so how can I lose? Set up was pretty easy and the cosmetics were appealing with thin bezel, unique feet and subdued brand logo placement. The Android setup was pretty quick also, as this was my 1st smart TV. Once I played with the settings I felt that it had a great picture. I'm still messing with the Auto Content fiction and I'm not sure if I like it yet. The sound from the set is ok, but when I feed it through my AV system I hear slight distortion, which I didn't have before. I had an issue with my live tv channels, as they weren't recognized after a few days, so I reprogrammed them again. I'm still trying to get used it to see if it was worth the money or if I will exchange it. To me the strength is the picture and the weakness is the Android glitches.

Exceeded my expectations!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did thorough research and read many reviews for the H9G before I made my purchase. I am so glad I did because this TV is beautiful. Deep inky blacks and vibrant colors. As close to OLED as you can get BUT super bright. Make sure to spend time dialing in your settings if you buy it. All the online reviews and hype is accurate. I have a decent sound bar and Apple 4k TV connected to it and it is awesome. It is no wonder this TV is currently sold out. Home run!
