Wow. This is as sleek TV. Very responsive user interface. It's powered by Android and it's snappy. I'd say it's one of the best smart TVs in terms of operating system. It is really, really bright from factory but I was able to tone the backlight down to 50 and my eyes were more comfortable with it. Input switching is super fast. I was impressed. Probably the fastest input switching I've seen on a TV. Picture quality is fantastic. It is really bright for those well-lit rooms, but the quick settings allow for modes like "theater day" and "theater night" or "sports" among others. I gave it 4/5 stars because I experienced slight choppyness when watching fast movement videos, even after fixing my settings. It's still an amazing set and maybe I just need to keep fine tuning the settings. You can use your phone as a controller with an app, so that's cool. I also added it as a device with Alexa and now I can turn it in and off. It's going to be tough to beat this quality at this price point. I recommend it.

Hisense is aweful their customer service is aweful on both the customer side and on Geek Squad. They won’t let geek squad get the parts to fix my tv. Screen is glitched green arc is broken and tv shuts itself off by itself. It’s an issue others have. Thank God i purchased geek squad protection so they are doing me right.

The TV has high pitch squeel and doesn't work with my Vizio soundbar. When the soundbar is connected, the volume overlay shows up every 5 seconds. Android TV is much slower than I anticipated (my Firetv is slow as well, but this TV is much slower to respond, making you second guess if you pressed the button). Will be returning.

Hisense 65H9F is an amazing TV. It arrived very well packaged and heavy, 65 lbs of shipping weight. The only way I found to get the TV out of the box was to use boxcutters along the edge, the television is packed away from the edge so there was no worry about damaging it. I put the TV stand on only to hold the television up while installing the wall mount to the back. But I will say that the stand for this TV is very nice and if I didn't already have a wall mount on my wall, I would not mind the look of this on the stand at all. The screw holes for the wall mount bracket were not very forgiving, it was a very tight fit that had to be installed just right or not at all, at least with my mount and since it's a standard mount, I would think it's the same for all. I had to get each screw just barely started before tightening any of them, taking turns with each until tightened. My teenage son had given up on it thinking they just would not fit at all, I'm more persistent and was able to finally install it. The plus side is that it is very secure. The TV unpackaged is 40 lbs. so it took two of us to mount it up on the wall. Plugged it in and the welcome screen came on. Set up was a very easy walk through on screen. Connected to internet wifi with no problem. There was a helpful intro to using the TV, voice remote and apps and then the amazement started. Philo is my choice of paid streaming and the app was already available all I had to do was open the app and sign in using my android phone (or computer) to verify my account, same with Vudu. Next, I tried the voice remote to find TubiTV for free movie streaming and Google pulled the app up for installation. The voice remote works very well and Google, as always, figures out what I'm wanting, even though it typed "voodoo" it actually pulled up Vudu, which is what I was wanting. After installing some apps and signing in, I decided to first listen to some music. I had connected my soundbar to the TV via optical cable and the TV had detected it. So, I asked Google to play some music which it did. Very nice sound, yet I hadn't turned my soundbar power on. To my amazement, the sound was from the TV speakers. My TV that this replaced had a dinky, tinny sound to them, annoying sound. Not this TV. The speakers on this television are very good. They are not the same as a good soundbar, but if you don't have a soundbar or want one, you could use this TV without one and be fine. My last 3 TV's had to have a soundbar or I couldn't stand to listen to them. I watched an SD movie I own on Vudu with video setting on theatre mode and all I can say is ...AMAZING. The colors are so sharp, the picture so clear, it seemed to have an added dimension to it. So, of course, I had to try a 4K UHD movie. Wow, just wow !! The details, the vibrancy, the sharpness, it's just ... yeah WOW. We have Google minis around the home, so I connected the TV to Google Home and I'm able to voice control the TV on and off without the remote. I will need more time to figure out how much voice control I have without the remote, what commands will work. It would have been nice to have more documentation about TV settings and Google commands included in the box. There is a user manual available online. I've only had the television for a few days so I'm sure there is plenty more for me to learn and adjust still. But even as is, I'm very much enjoying it. I certainly recommend this TV. It's amazing at a very affordable price.

This Television is massive at 65” when you get it to your home. Unboxing this television was fairly simple and assembling the legs took a matter of minutes. You will need two people to lift it and place it on your stand. Quality: I was blown away by the sharpness as soon as the tv booted up. I went through the setup through my phone which was pretty intuitive and straightforward. I logged into Netflix and it switched to 4K Dolby Vision. Wow it was super crips and all the colors popped. The blacks were deep and dark! I then hooked up an Xbox One X and this thing shined playing Madden 20 and Assassins Creed! The games played super smooth and were vivid and crisp. Overall Impressions: I cant even begin to say how blown away I was with the amount of the features that this TV has, I would expect to pay over 2K for this television. If you are looking for a high End set with all the latest technology, this is the Television you are looking for!

Okay first and foremost this is a tv. What do we really want from a tv? a good picture. WOW. no complaints here. This has a fantastic picture. Sure rich colors and deep blacks. What do we want after a god picture.... good features. Right out of the box this was super easy to set up. Plugged it in, turned it on and it walked me through all the steps. it asked for my android phone and after connecting to the home wifi I was off and running with my set up. This has plenty of inputs and outputs. You get HDMI (and one is ARC enabled), USB and digital optical audio out. I love how it connected to my Google Play account and instantly downloaded available apps. My kids can operate it with no problem they can switch from Netflix to youtube in a breeze. I can find apps on the play store to add as well. I am SUPER impressed and so glad we added this to our home theater set up.

The GOOD: I received and set up the TV a couple of days ago and it took less than 15 minutes from opening the box to completing assembly and setting up the TV and network. Picture and sound quality was exceptional. Most apps worked as expected the exceptions being: Netflix, VUDU, Prime Video, and Chromecast. THE BAD (please note that the TV and all of apps on the TV are up to date and my network connection tests out great to the TV): The previously mentioned streaming service apps and Chromecast do not work properly on this TV. They work on every other device in my home, except this new TV. I have been trying to get this resolved for 3 days now... updating, resetting, reloading apps, following troubleshooting from the app developers/publishers as well as what (little) is available from the TV manufacturer. Netflix would not load - gives me an error, updated it, still wouldn't load properly, ran through troubleshooting for the code as per Netflix website - still no go. This is the same app version that runs fine on my 3 year old Sharp Roku TV. Prime Video isn't available in the Google Play store when viewed on the TV - I can see it in the Google Play store app on both of my phones and on my chrome book, just not in the Google Play Store on the TV... which is very disappointing. According to the manufacturer, the app should be available. VUDU loads, but won't play HDX movies (which means I can't watch any of the 30+ movies that I have in my VUDU). I don't have this issue on any other device in my home, just this TV. Troubleshooting as per VUDU got me nowhere. The issue appears to be hardware (?) but I find that difficult to believe. Oh well, I can just cast from my phone... nope. Chrome cast doesn't work for the TV. When I try to connect/cast from any of my devices, the TV shows up as an available device on the network, but even though the phone, netbook, tablet, or laptop acts like the video is being cast, nothing shows on the TV. That includes not just content from NF, PV, or VUDU... I can't cast anything to the TV screen, from any site I have tried. Again, it shows up as available, but never shows the content on the TV. Why 3 Stars then- I am giving the TV 3 stars since I think it will be an awesome TV, when and if the multiple app issues can ever be resolved. Right now, I had to connect a 4 year old sony bluray player (non-4k/UHD) in order to access content from Amazon, Netflix, and VUDU. In other words, I have a 65 inch 4K UHD TV that allows me to view zero 4K/UHD content from three of the largest streaming services. Hopefully they fix this soon.

If I had one word to describe the overall quality of this tv, it would be AMAZING. I previously owned a sub $500 4k Hisense tv and it looked ok. Once I set up my new h9f, I immediately noticed a huge difference. Everything looks stunning! My neighbor owns a Samsung qled, I think he paid $1599, and my tv looks equally as good. 4k content, which is the main reason for my purchase, looks incredible! Whether it's 4k Netflix, 4k youtube, or my own 4k wedding business films, the picture always looks breathtaking. Tons of picture settings, good amount of sound settings (tv speakers sound fantastic btw) and nice array of inputs. Overall I am completely happy to have purchased this tv. And to think I was so close to spending over $1450 for an LG nanocell tv.
