Hisense UH6
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent TV for the price but did not perform well in our family room that gets a lot of morning and afternoon sunlight from big windows and skylights. Picture quality was not great and sometimes annoyingly very choppy especially with action movies when streaming. Also intermittent lag and loading delays when switching between content and apps. We ended up exchanging/upgrading to TCL QLED with mini led...$700 higher price but very noticeable difference in brightness and quality and a much better fit for our room. Overall I would say this Hisense TV is good budget TV for a bedroom or basement rec room but would not recommend for a main floor family room and def not for gaming or wifi streaming platforms. QLED with mini backlight is a must for brighter room and 120hz vs 60 is definitely worth the extra cost. This is our first TV with Google platform and way more user friendly with better content and fuctionality than Roku or Fire in my opinion, especially for Android users.

Hisense challenges the top tier brands!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent television with an abundance of features. The interface is well laid out and very responsive. Picture quality appears to be better than our V series Vizio television which we purchased a year ago. Gaming is smooth and we love the auto setting features on this television. Movies and shows look amazing. Blacks are deep and color spectrum huge. Hisense has come a long way since I purchased my first one more than 20 years ago. Hisense and TLC are now my go to brand for under $600.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've been using this TV for a couple of weeks. After reviewing many TVs and trying to decide we picked this one to replace our broken TV. It's a great TV for the price. No complaints. User friendly. Took only a few minutes to turn on and set up. It was more work logging into our old accounts. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone. The picture is perfect to me. Also the sound is way better than our Samsung TV. We had to turn the volume way up to hear it with any apps that we used.

Decent picture quality, mediocre processor
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is pretty good for the price but the interface lags in real time. The processor inside the TV is just not powerful enough to handle the higher resolution videos. It takes a few seconds for anything to happen if you're in the Netflix/Peacock apps. Disappointed with the TV. Oh well...that's what you get for cheapening out.

Great TV for less than $500
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall great TV for the price. HDR looks great and the blacks get pretty dark for an LED. Menus and streaming video playback get a little laggy every once in awhile. Feels like contrast isn’t very strong but I need to tinker with more settings.

Great but not quite as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prepare to do some heavy lifting when you mount this baby. Unlike our previous Samsungs, this Hisense is primarily of metal manufacture and decidedly hefty. At least rambunctious cats will not be able to tip it over, although the sturdiness of the tabletop supports leaves something to be desired. The Hisense U6H is easy to navigate, once enabled, and unlike the U6G, it does not stretch 480p video to fill the screen. A major plus, that. Color reproduction is outstanding, especially if you are heavily into film or streaming viewing. Subtle color gradations show up well. The amplitude of the screen also gives a pleasant illusion of watching in a movie theater, ideal for something like "Lawrence of Arabia." It is easy to switch back and forth between inputs and the Hisense does a good job of supporting both Roku and Xfinity Xbox. The only real qualm about streaming video is that if you're watching sporting events, particularly ones involving a great deal of lateral movement, there is some image degradation. Although the Hisense U6H is advertised as having four HDMI inputs (a major selling point), ours came with only *three.* This is a drawback if you have multiple HDMI sources. Although we had planned to add a sound bar, we have nowhere to connect it to the TV. However, if you want more than two HDMI inputs, Hisense is the only game in town. Do I regret this purchase? No,

It is a good TV for its price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size and overall quality seems to be nice, but its smart TV functions can be quite slow at times. The biggest con is that it has noticabe lag when I try to use it for gaming through HDMI cable, even when the gaming mode is ON

Good Quality at a Good Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good quality at a good price. I had a little trouble setting everything up but was great after my son helped me with my senior troubles. My son said that Hisense was a quality tv at a good price. So far no problems so happy camper now.

Good for the price, slow UI
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a good value at $455 clearance price. The menus are extremely slow, compared to my Samsung Q70 and the speakers leave much to be desired. The picture quality is good, but some menu items are greyed out so there’s not much picture customization. Out of the box, the picture quality is good and it has some local dimming, which is rare at this price point. Be sure to turn off motion smoothing to avoid the soap opera effect. Overall, good tv and happy with purchase, but the slow-to-respond menus can be annoying at times.

Get this especially for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is absolutely one of the best bargain TVs you can buy! The colors are good and the quality of the streaming is great. The speed is a little off for live-action sports but for video game it is fine.

Why overspend?!

Google TVs are better but this one needs improveme
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has everything I currently want in a TV to support my streaming apps. However, this tv is very slow when it comes to processing. The remote is also slow, after pressing the power button it takes the TV over 5 seconds to shut off. This TV was a quick replacement option for a tv that died without warning. I plan on purchasing a Sony and moving this TV to our guest room or loft area where it will be minimally used.

Great TV on a budget!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this HiSense 65' after a lot of research and I can definitely attest that it has got great value for money. With the Quantum HDR and Full Array Local Dimming features, the contrast adjustment and picture quality are amazing. A great way to test this feel is to watch the Game of Thrones episode "The Long Night" (Season 8, episode 3). The scenes are truly remarkable in comparison to a regular TV / Screen! Unless set for an OLED TV or if someone is on a budget, I would strongly recommend this TV.

Great value!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New to ULED TV's, I did my research and landed on the 65" Hisense U6 over the TCL Q5 and Q6. This U6H (2022) didn't seem to have a lot different from the U6K (2023) and was on sale compared to the newer model. One month in and everything has been great on it! Calibrated the picture from the Sports setting and have stuck with that. The first UHD programming I watched (new Mission Impossible) looked fantastic! I recommend a sound bar for every TV, but easy to hook up here with optical.
