And of course the little knob and switch covers don't take long to break down. Expensive for the actual utility.

Also, you could try to reinstall the phone into the case. That should improve the audio quality right away. Please follow the instructions: insert the phone into the case by resting the bottom of the phone into the case first before fully inserting the phone into the case. And when you place the phone inside the case, make sure the audio/charging ports are open, insert the seal (flexible part) with the ports still open, and once you get the seal in place try to squeeze the air out from the case by sliding your fingers from top to bottom that will make the air go out through port, then close the plug, see if that works. Protects the phone, can’t hear a thing

However, I was not able to use the phone with the case as it completely distorts all sound from the speakers. No one could understand me and I cannot understand them. Pretty useless as an everyday case

Please reinstall the phone into the case with the next instructions: Insert the phone into the case by resting the bottom of the phone into the case FIRST before fully inserting the phone into the case.
And when you place the phone inside the case, make sure the charging port is open, insert the seal (flexible part) with the port still open, and once you get the seal in place try to squeeze the air out from the case by sliding your fingers from top to bottom that will make the air go out through the audio port, then close the plug. It’s thin, so it fits in his work pants very well. He hasn’t had any damage to his phone while having it. The only issue we have is with dust getting trapped in speaker and port. However, he’s a carpenter, so it’s pretty impossible to avoid it.

Sounds muffled. It may block a speaker somewhere. Tossed the case and got a different one and it was fine.

I'd imagine you could also disinfect the case with a cleaner as it is waterproof. There are some minor cons. The case makes my phone too large to fit into my car's cup-holder. The case is not heavy, but a little heavier than the traditional half case. Finally, the knob that covers the ringer on / off button is a little hard to turn.
