Blocks out majority of sound and makes it hard for other individuals on the other side to hear you. Protection feels great if you don't mind the rest. Returned 2 days after I bought it and went with the otter box.

I prefer the chargeport cover on the lifeproof. This case is bulkier as well. All in all for the price & availability this case is fine. The Lifeproof Fre was not available for comparison

Sucks as far as making a phone call. I can barely hear people talking to me and they can’t hear me at all. Would be fine if using AirPods or something.

Posted .Hi there! Please contact us at [email protected] and we will help you to get better experience with our case. Also, you could try to reinstall the phone into the case. That should improve the audio quality right away.
Please follow the instructions: insert the phone into the case by resting the bottom of the phone into the case first before fully inserting the phone into the case.
And when you place the phone inside the case, make sure the audio/charging ports are open, insert the seal (flexible part) with the ports still open, and once you get the seal in place try to squeeze the air out from the case by sliding your fingers from top to bottom that will make the air go out through port, then close the plug, see if that works. Solid alternative to lifeproof

The only knock on it is when talking on the phone, as the people on the other end have a hard time hearing you.
