Prince at his best! He had so much more music to offer everyone!

This album is a must for any Prince fan, if only to hear where he was artistically at the time of his death. No, it does not even come close to providing closure to such a great musical career and journey. Sad indeed. Nonetheless, Prince sounds on-point on many of these tracks. Highlights include "Black Muse" and "Rock and Roll Love Affair". Probably worth 3 stars but his passing elevates the rating and importance. Five stars will always be reserved to his best: the critic's faves Sign O' the Times, Purple Rain, 1999, Dirty Mind; and the fans' faves Prince, Lovesexy, The Gold Experience, Diamonds and Pearls, Batman, Love Symbol, Around the World in a Day, Controversy, Parade, 3121, LotusFlow3r, The Black Album, and ArtOfficialAge.

This is a must for any Prince fan!!!!! HitnRun Phase Two. This is the last cd from Prince and true to form Prince writes about social issues that are currently plagueging America!!!! Dive in and listen to what was on Prince's heart and mind on his last cd. I forgot to mention the art work on Phase One cd cover. I like the art work better on Phase Two cd cover. There will never be another Music Artist like Prince!!!! He is in his own music category. A Genius Truly!!!! This cd is an excellent gift for a Prince fan!!!!! This album is awesome from His Royal Goodness Prince his last studio album before his untimely death man I miss him so much But his music will live on!! The man called Prince was and is a musical genius the best to ever play music in the history of this planet in any era he will be sorely miss this album while not my favorite of his it still is very very excellent. I wish I could hear what He was going to do next but such as life and Prince life ended too soon R I P !!! Live 4 Love

This is a GREAT album. I am a true Prince fan, been to every concert every time he came to town, have every album, even the bootlegs, so this is one more added to the collection. While it's not in the same caliber of Controversy, 1999, or Purple Rain, still it deserves a listening to. Prince still shows progression and evolution in his music, and this album shows just that. I just wish that he was still here (sigh). Nevertheless, I'm still good with what he left us.

I bought this CD the week that it was announced that Prince had died. I didn't know it was going to be released (but, it seems that I never do with his work). Nonetheless, it did not disappoint (as usual). It's soulful and funky and rocks (which is what I've come to expect over the years). My hope is that the rumors of Prince having tons of unreleased music locked in a vault somewhere at Paisley Park are true (and there are more CDs to come over the years). RIP Prince.

Hit & Run Phase 2 is as exciting as Phase One. Some of Prince's best work is on this CD (realizing that his older hits are in a class by themselves) and has something for everyone. I would recommend this for sure.

If you only know the Purple Rain songs from Prince, this will be a very big change up. His songs are more groovy and rock n roll based (as I said in the title) and has many guitar solos that make you just listen to the music and bob your head the whole time. His songs have the sense that you are in the midst of a jam session and it's great.

A great final album from one of my favorite artists. HITNRUN Phase Two is a vast improvement over HITNRUN Phase One. Phase Two is more upbeat and positive ... a great talent we've lost but will always remember... A true fan will want this CD.

As a life long Prince fan, I just had to have this. I am quite taken with it. I hate that I did not purchase it when it was released earlier, this had been hard to find, Thanks Best Buy for getting more in stock. RIP Prince!

"Hit n Run Phase Two" was probably Prince's best and most consistant album in years. Memorable tunes, along with his usual expert musicianship, make this an essential purchase for even the most casual of fans

The first phase was where he was heading, the second phase is who he's been. Together create a thorough snapshot of the artist formerly known as The Artist Formerly Known As PRINCE during his last year.

What can I say? I already had Phase One of this CD and being a mega-fan it was obvious I was going to get Prince's last album. Musical genius.

As a die-hard PRINCE fan, I like every track on this final CD release before his sudden death this year. This CD sounds like his style of the 80's, which is what most remember PRINCE for.

I love this one. I'm such a big fan of his and I couldn't find it in Wal-Mart so I looked here and found it. Thanks Best Buy!

Bought this based on reviews. Wasn't sure what to expect but I am a Prince fan. This is a unique sound & I'm digging this music. A must for fans of his music!

This is a good album to add to the collection but not really that fitting as a last album. Maybe half the songs had been released digitally over the last several year but this is the first time they have appeared on a physical medium.

prince's extensive knowledge and sensabilities are modestlty incorporated into the popular styles of music being accepted today without losing his message.

I'm a huge fan of Prince. Mega Star gone too soon. Rest in Heaven. Prince's legacy will live forever. Lyrics wonderful! I give it a trillion ☆'s.

I like this CD as I do others of Prince, but I prefer Hit and Run #1. It is still funky and just as lovely as all the other CDs. You will love it !
